when I watched the video that godhauls uploaded on the fateful day on 10 march 2022, my sense of competitiveness kinda just fired up. I wanted to get the World Record in a minigame of my favorite game (at the time) so I started grinding. after a few days, I got to 11k. thinking I had beaten the record, I uploaded it to UA-cam and called it a day. not too long later, I discovered that other competitors have gotten scores ABOVE 11k and that my "world record" was nothing more than a mew personal best. I had gotten to 12.5k, a new PB. I then saw the video where godhauls got a 16.5k run. at first, I wanted to continue the grind and chase the world record score as it drifted further and further away from me. after further contemplation, however, I decided to give up and focus on growing my channel instead. my PB of 12,547 would remain my PB for a lengthy period of time.
fast forward to July 2024, and I had just made a return to uploading pixel gun 3d content. this was primarily because I wanted to gain more relevance in the community before I uploaded the 2023 rewind (as it had been in the works for 3 months at that point). I then decided to switch from mobile to pc and make a video about it. in the video, I did a pixel pass task that involved running for like 350 metres in extreme run, but I instead wanted to see just how far I can go after more than 2 years of not playing the minigame too much. I ended up getting to like 7k or 8k (forgor💀) but that sent a clear message: if I wanted to have a chance at ever challenging the world record, doing it on PC would be FAR EASIER than on mobile. and just like that, I started grinding for the world record again after almost 28 months of radio silence. I eventually got to 21.4k, and once again I thought I had broken the world record of 21,256. when I got to UA-cam to double check, however, I saw that fxr legend had recently gotten a NEW world record of 22,015. that was LITERALLY deja vu. I recalled the time I got 11k and thought I had done the thing, only to discover that someone else had gotten a higher score before me. on top of not even GETTING the world record, I got BANNED after picking up a coin while playing the minigame. I wrote to pixel gun 3d support about the problem, and they blamed the reason of the ban on me abusing a glitch exploit to get the highest chances of getting a higher score. fortunately, I was unbanned a few days later but I never returned to extreme run again because it was simply much harder to beat the world record without abusing that glitch exploit.
a couple months later, I got the BRILLIANT idea of going back to extreme run and grinding it at SCHOOL during my FREE TIME... I had a crappy school laptop to work with, but had the same mouse I used in my previous extreme run grind. I got back to grinding the world record in November 2024 on my school laptop, getting runs of 16k, 17k, and even to 18k, all WITHOUT using the glitch exploit that'd gotten me banned the last time. one day, however, I tried to play extreme run on my PC instead of my laptop. I got a good run (probably 16k or 17k) and it felt SO MUCH EASIER... I decided that the grind for the world record should continue in the PC's bigger, 165 fps screen. after getting a 19k run, I was rather annoyingly banned for a SECOND time, and this time I knew exactly what the reason was: the coins. fast forward to when I got the ban appealed in mid December, school was ramping up and I had to halt the grind for the time being.
the final grind during the current Christmas break proved to be the final push. on December 26, I had broken my ill-gotten 21.4k "PB" with a legitimate 21,725 run that did NOT abuse the glitch exploit. the next days saw me spending OVER 20 HOURS, ending with a total of THREE 21k runs, and a whopping EIGHT 20k runs, along with COUNTLESS 19Ks and 18Ks. Saturday, 28 December 2024, proved to be the final day in this story spanning over 2 YEARS & 9 MONTHS.
I am proud of my 22,274 run. it's not as big of a jump from 22,015 as I'd hoped, but it is, at the very least, the new world record of extreme run. despite not receiving direct help from you, I would still want to thank you all for your support over the years. extreme run's been tough on me, but I'm glad to finally see it over. massive thanks.

Props to you bro, I had read the description of this video and found that this minigame and its history and all the records actually meant something to you, and im glad in the end, you persevered and achieved something. It's never about PG3D, nor Extreme Run, it's about your spirit to challenge the best and become better, than others and than your previous selves.
That, is the underlying spirit in creating absolutely incredible records and histories in all of video games, including PG3D.
