Progress is huge Andrew, you have been busy. Love the little bracket on the mirrors, what a great solution to an obvious problem. The details, fit and finish looks awesome and credit to your diligence and skills.
Great having you back! Car is coming along beautifully too. Can't wait to see the video covering the engine install. This is a car truly to be proud of.
Hey, that looks like a GT40 in your garage! The fit and finish on the car is as good as any professional shop build. Absolutely stunning. Only thing left is to make a lot of noise. Yeah, air con has to be a viable option about now 🥵
Just came across your channel and watched a few of your build updates, really impressive 👍🏼 can’t wait to see your GT40 when you’re finished, the Pre 65 lights look brilliant!
Great progress Andrew. I love the simplicity of the front end and the gear linkage and the dashboard looks very neat and authentic. I know you are covering the engine in the next episode, but couldn’t see an aircon pump. If that’s so then I would really recommend that pre completion. I was at the Snetterton Historic last weekend and the heat in the cockpit would have been unbearable without it with outside temps in the 30’s. It also finally made me push the button and order a Mocal oil cooler kit as the oil temp was over 100 a lot of the time. If you want one and haven’t got it yet, I can advise a good supplier who can provide the same parts as the Tornado kit for a > £200 saving on their price.😎 BTW, the water temps were fine provided I ran the fans constantly when on track 👍
If its too hot I'll take the doors off! haha AC was never on my want list and I'm far too far down the road to retro fit it to a standard I'd be happy with, I've cut the fan brackets off of the rad for example for a cleaner look. Certainly interested to hear about the oil cooler parts and supplier for perhaps a job over the winter maybe :-)
@@RatchetRebuilds Andrew, I know you have subscribed to my channel 🙏, so once the cooler parts arrive and I get fitted, I’ll do a video on my channel and post the link of the parts needed and the supplier in the description.
Hi Rachet i own a real GT40 its interesting that just about every thing under that body shell is different i would have thought that they would have copied the real one a lot closer how ever well don the car looks great .
Nice to see all the progress and the car almost finished. Too bad we missed all the action.
There's still lots more to come I promise that
Great job Andrew, your attention to detail really makes the car a step above as everything comes together
Thanks Greg, appreciate the support :-)

Thanks John, the mirror brackets I've seen quite a few times but of course this is my take & design :-)

Good work as always Andrew :)
Thank you! Cheers!
wow its lookin great mate!
Thanks!
Always good to see how your going. Did you fit A/C as you now live in a tropical climate🤣
Haha, no AC here, I'll remove the windows or take the doors off if need be!
Beautiful car. You say restore, but it’s not original is it?! Who did the kit?
It's a kit by Tornado Sport Cars

Superformance make continuation copies which are as per the originals. All other kit cars are just a skin over there own chassis
Your work is meticulous. I look forward to start up day.
Thanks William
