Seems a bit extreme...but nice to have the added security.
you can use a specific command and remove the admin password and unblock a account or change settings if you want, it takes 1-3 minutes.. if not 30 seconds when you know how to do it. "security"?

It's a group policy. Just like any other group policy, it can be switched off just like Brian has turned it on.
Wow, You could laterally create the safest Home Computer possible , plus a antivirus and maybe none admin for even safer. Might try this on an old potato I have running Win 10 in Garage! Thanks

Hi, Its a great video, but i want to know how can i remove this rules if i will have some problem from it,
So please guide me or will make the video of how to stop or uninstall or remove the applocker rules.
Because i see so many people faced the problem from it,
so we have to have the solution to how to get rid off or stopped from this applocker rules.
just don't lock yourself out of gpedit, it happened... lucky i had backup

Hi Brian can you do a vid on how to stop teams from opening up at startup I have disabled in task manager but it still keeps opening up. I only want it to start when I go into the menu and start it there. Thanks in advance.

Windows 11's Smart App Control feature is AppLocker for the masses.

I am finding AppLocker difficult. I am not a Malware or Windows expert. I don't know what to block and what to allow.
my pro tip what to block is: Edge, paint 3d, support hub, microsoft store (temporary while not using it), windows update.. there are many more programs (yes programs, its not a phone its a computer) but i cant say all now..
love the built-in ads you pay hard cash to get @ 0:53. I cant see why microsoft didnt use the entire desktop as one massive ad board and put 100x times more and better ads there. What windows user would say no when microsft use their entire desktop as a advertise board?
We can use it and call it "a security feature", the computer check for viruses while the advertise run.. or something similar. 100% of all microsft users would approve the advertisement on their desktops, its a security feature...
I don't think anyone would like to apply such rule. Its better just to apply lock with password, that's just enough.
