Absolutely delighted about this video. Thank you so much!!! * Question to you sir if you don't mind. After turning on my desktop PC this morning 28/06/2023, I received a message that the Windows firewall is not on nor active. The irritating thing is that one can't get the FW to reset itself by clicking the "red reset " button as if there is nothing behind it! I used a restore to restore my system with luckily only a few problems. What I need to know is, could it be that the mass of telemetry issues turned off in the advance-section-of-the-FW would have had anything to do with crashing the firewall. If so, how can I go ahead and correct/reverse all these setting back to normal. Thank so much for your valuable video's and advice always.
I'm very sceptical that this works. Since early windows 10 days, svchost's connections to microsoft servers completely bypass HOSTS file blocking. The telemetry also reverts to hardcoded IP-addresses if you try to block dns queries of microsoft URLs. I have every reason to believe that for telemetry, svchost just completely ignores the built in firewall.
