Thank you isoplus. I needed to get a couple of videos out for sure. I went back to using my iPhone instead of the pro camera. At least for a little while.
Ray, have followed you for a few years. Its awesome you groom and expose others to shooting. I love the end statement. Eat healthy stay fit, your life depends on it! Im 74 and thats retty much my wife and my mantra. Stay active ! thank you for sharing. shooter from Saskatchewan, x marine from 60s!
Super stoked to see you out there killin it. Down here in Charleston we had a slightly stronger wind during that match practicing for the next AG cup qualifier match up at the Clinton house. Thanks for the wind calls so I know what to expect up there.
Thanks TactTarzan! I was happy to be able to shoot that match. Definitely time to get back into the swing of things. It is a great venue for both centerfire and rimfire since the wind is always switching up. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Thank you Hesa! I tried to get what I could at the match. I won't shoot a match without a plate anymore. Makes life a lot easier, more stable and faster! I think I owe thanks to you for that kind sir.
The silver fox wins 3rd position. Well done X-RING 👍. The young fella didn’t do to badly either. It will be interesting to see what he buys or builds to compete with in the future. One things for sure, your mentor will lead you in the right direction as to your next PRS Rimfire rifle.
LOL You still remember the Silver Fox!! LOL. Definitely getting more gray every day. I do appreciate the emails you send as well. Makes for some interesting viewing sometimes.
Ray, I would like to see u build a custom cz457 and compete with that. Or a Bergara with a barrel and chassis. In my opinion, that is about the most ( budget) way u can be competitive and not be held back by the rifle.
I have the new heavy barreled b14r action with the 20” barrel in a MPA BA Comp chassis with the Burris XTR pro and it’s served me well so far. I do think you get a slight advantage with a custom rifle solely on the smoothness of the actions. The accuracy is probably 90% of what you’re getting out of a RimX/Vudoo.
We have a match called Accuracy, indiana, you should check it out. It's a prone match out to a mile. The stages start at 300ish and work out to a mile. For the mile stage, you can use another gun. I'll be running a 6cm out to the 1500yrd stage then using my 338LM for the mile, but it can easily be done with a 6.5cm or something like that.
@xring - Ray I am putting together the exact same setup for NRL22 - What is the dope card attachment for the spuhr? and which Spuhr mount. I know its 20 on 20MOA. need to get the height right from the S3. Lastly MOA or Mil S3 for NRL22? I hope to meet you soon in a class or two when I head on to NC this year.
I did hold classes at a few of the somewhat local ranges. For 2024 I will be working with Paramount Tactical at the XP Academy. Classes will be held at Pigg River Precision in Virginia this year. Classes and dates are on the Paramount Tactical website. 👍🏼. Thanks for asking and for watching the channel.

That was great to watch.. I appreciate the intentional deliberate movement and nothing more than that... thanks for sharing 🤙
My pleasure and thank you for watching Pompomgrenade!
Thank You Sir! This was a great match and great coverage. The Area 419 plate really cut down on setup time. 👍🇺🇲
Thank you Hesa! I tried to get what I could at the match. I won't shoot a match without a plate anymore. Makes life a lot easier, more stable and faster! I think I owe thanks to you for that kind sir.
Stage 4 was brutal to watch. Great shooting under those environmental conditions.

Dang Ray you've been busy!
I have been trying !
I shot a PRS match in TN on 2/10..... windy and very, very wet!!! Still enjoyed it,
It's that time of the year where it's usually cold and rainy. I can't wait for spring and the warmer weather for sure. Thank you for watching Juliang
Dam nice shooting!
Congrats Ray
Thank you pravataracing. It has been a while hasn't it ? I remember you from the days from the chats with Ricky . 👍

Did Rick shoot this match? Never see you two together any more...

if it aint rainin....
does it get any better than slingin 22 into the pissin wind? Well done fellas
LOL! I think I am beginning to hate the rain. Growing up in the south it seems to rain at every single match I shoot!

Ray what is a water line you talk about when sighting in a rifle
Any link to that digital level?
So is Victrix quality good enough for combat - I'm considering the 375 Chey Tac but I want durability cuz I'm hard on everything unfortunately
Can you please tell me what length that barrel is on the Victrix 22lr Pro? many thanks p.s. the wind was tough looking on the day.
It is a 26”. 👍🏼
I seen on other videos where you talked about classes you teach. Do you have a website or information you could send?

Rimfire on a rainy windy day is not easy at all .

I hate shooting in rain. I'd probably just watch from my truck. 😅

Are you shooting 22lr? What do they allow for "rimfire"?
Only 22lr. No other rimfire caliber allowed.
Typical matches will go out to 350yards
@@XRING that's a push for 22lr ! Wow that's pretty cool.
It’s pretty awesome but the winds do play havoc with you at these matches. Makes it more exciting for sure !
@@XRING is windy all the time here in New AZ
how total boring this is
Definitely like gun golf. It is still fun and will test your marksmanship skills. 👍🏼
