This is the best Larq water bottle review I’ve seen so many but the amount of practical details and how you explain it. You are too good at this! Thank you 🙏 picked up on because of this. Thank you! 😅
I pre-ordered one, been using it every day for the last month and I have to say that's it's great. Filters last for 2 months, you can subscribe and get them sent to you.
Filters are way overpriced though otherwise I might consider it for the nicer design. The filters are 6 times the price of the Brita bottle filters though for the exact same thing and I just can’t justify it personally.
@@Tigerxx89 meh, it depends on the person. I think you should only drink when you feel thirsty, the #1 indicator of dehydration. Forcing yourself to drink a certain amount of water just hasn't been great for me, even if it's only 64oz.

Definitely worth it!! I have been using LARQS water bottle for a very long time, and while I will say I like their other water bottle better the uv one with a much higher price tag this one is also amazing and I use this one just as much as my other bottle. Both are worth the price in my opinion especially if you spend a lot of time in places that do not have the cleanest water. Also both are very durable.
@@jonathanknolls5910 could you tell me whether should i buy the normal waterbottle without THE UV or with the UV. ? I need advise of someone who bought it previously
@@صادقرياضصادق either way will work in my opinion however the UV light kills the bacteria while the filter just gets it out of the water. I think it also depends on if you are okay buying new filters. I would say if you plan on using it daily I would go with the UV, but if you aren’t gonna use it a lot the filter on is probably better. The UV light one is more expensive, but I use it on the daily and it has been worth it. While I do use the one with the filter a lot I don’t use it as much especially since you have to buy new filters. With the UV one you just have to re charge it about once a month
Hi, I have two questions. Can I use it just without filter ? I mean if I remove the filter out from the bottle, then can I use it ? I think straw is shorter. My Second Question is that can I use it without filter & straw everything. I am asking this because I only use Nestle water but I like this Bottle.
You convinced me to get the bottle since I was still debating if I should get it since I have the UV version. I want it for the straw and also the filter because on my UV version I would get some type of dirt or particle in my water which makes me not want to drink it since I see it when I open the lid and drink it.
I would recommend going with the insulated Brita Water Bottle instead as the filter is essentially the same and is going to much better in your wallet. Been using one for a bit on some nasty tasting tap water at school and it’s been really good.
Just check the price of the refills. $120 a year under optimal schedule, or $100 with a subscription. The filters really do become ineffective after a couple months and can become moldy so extending the life is not recommended.
FYI, the Brita water bottle is virtually the exact same thing and is much lighter on the wallet. The filters for the Brita Bottle are $20 a year under optimal change schedule (2 months) The filters for the Lara bottle are $20 PER FILTER, or $16 per filter with a subscription. That is at least 5 times the yearly cost of the Brita bottle for the exact same carbon filter technology. Id you want a Lara, get the UV bottle as it is a unique product to them. This bottle is a clear copy and cash grab due to the unreasonable filter prices.
Yeah but compared to buying bottle water how much are you saving with this... think about it also. Also the filter on this larq filters much more than brita.
Its hard to understand how this removes microplastics and other contaminants when its micron rating is 40. I read the NSF 42 and 53 analysis and it seems to be effective. The other concerning thing is you have to suck so hard on the plastic post filtration, does that introduce plastic? Or is it perfect😊
Hey EDC community, I am looking for a new backpack and was hoping someone here has a nice recommendation. Something with a clean look, techy, fits a MBP and some daily essentials. Thx!
I’ve been looking for a video on game boy advance edc and let me tell you there isn’t one I’ve found 2 videos on retro gaming edc and they feature retroid pockets and stuff but what if u have a gba and want a edc to carry ur gba and game carts along with other stuff like that if u can if possible make a video like that either original gba or gba sp
Bruh, Use a water tester if you are going to test the filtration quality of a water bottle Tap water is treated with chlorine and flouride to treat and kill bacteria etc. That being said water filters are designed to filter out heavy metals and this already filtration tech will also filter out bacteria aswell. So what is the parts per million filtration rating on this bottle? Brita is 6PPM and Zero water filter is 0 PPm why doesnt anyone talk about metal ppm ratings with this bottle after filtration? Seems like a bit of a scam tbh
Looks like a sailor water filter that through hikers carry. The only problem with the sailor, is that people need to connect them to a plastic water bottle and filter it by squeezing the bottle. So your store bought cheap water bottle will eventually break down and need to be replaced. Also the Brita version of this sucks, and the taste is not that great. I just wish their stuff was not proprietary for water bottle. I do not feel like I need another freaking stainless steel water bottle.
So many edc don’t feature enough or very very little stuff on entertainment I mean I understand if it’s for survival but what if ur literally just sitting there stranded with nothing to do and u have kids with u I think having some thing as simple as a gba with battery’s is easier than having a rechargeable game system if no outlet is available or something
6 times the price of the same Brita bottle filters lmao. Lara is becoming no an increasingly questionable company the more I see them do. After severe issues with distribution, they then release this obviously overpriced subscription model service when there’s no reason to subscribe since the filters don’t really expire when unopened.
Lol this thing is useless. just ask urself, you prefer to drink water from a just cleaned bottle or a “uv self cleaning bottle” that sat there for a week
The problem is that people drink from the polluted river impacting their health, with today’s emerging technology.i think that the life saving bottles ,filter straw, etc would be helpful but that is not the solution.government and citizens should work together raising awareness, helding clean up events, etc.

I just wish they had a lid that did both the filter and the UV, also a little silicon plug to put into the usb c port to keep dust out would be nice
Agreed. A port cover would be a good idea.
update: they now have the purevis 2 available for preorder, shipping in september that does filter both :)
