**Cough**
*BLEGH*
I have never been this early to one of your reactions and it's awesome to be this early
Please react to As lions and lambs hate speech
I know you guys have done spirit Box holy roller but I think you would get a better look at the band if you Check out the song Constance from them There is no screaming in the song it is mainly a story And it is very strong check it out💯🤙
I love your guys reactions, and especially your biblical knowledge and perspective. I would suggest the song "A God Without A Face" by Dayseeker, keep up the great work!
"Another breakdown?"
Lmao this song is literally a 4 minute breakdown.
They are Christian but they don't label themselves as a Christian band but if you listen to the song basic hate that will tell you they are Christian and they aren't afraid to put it in music
That's cool to know🤘🤘🤘
For real? I never thought they were Christian, I always did noticed they never cuss which I love by they play stuff this heavy without using vulgar language
I can confirm that they're Christian, my cousin lives with them I've met Cody, Briton, and Seth on multiple occasions
Yeah hell, I am what you'd called and agnostic atheist and I respect the hell out of that song.
Yea a lot of people don't realize that. I'm from Ocala where they're from and I know Cody, he moved to TN recently but when he still lived here he did worship at my church up until the band made it big, and he still would do worship there whenever they weren't out on tour. They're all pretty solid in their faith
"strats are like a 'no-no' in metal music"
Jim Root: .
I love strats, it's definitely not the norm, but some big names do use them, Jim probably being the biggest one. I think he also has a custom Tele as well
@@metallifan561991 Lets not forget Kirk Hammett on the And Justice For All album. IIRC it was a mexican strat in sky or baby blue
@@tuck234 I love Kirk, he’s the reason I play guitar at all, and I have a mexi strat because of him too
@@metallifan561991 nice haha. I got into super strat bodies becuz of him but LPs becauae of Hetfield haha.
This song was very deep and hit home with me, at the time, despite offering forgiveness and seeking repair, she ultimately chose to leave and live a life outside of what I was offering and what God wanted for her life. She was my everything but thankfully with God’s help I’m still rebuilding to this day.
First of all, good to know that you're putting yourself togheter. Keep on!
I've never lived this king os situation, but I wonder if people who did and are christians, question God of why this happened. I mean, in the beggining I think that you thought that she was a God's gift to you and in the end, turned out that she wasn't. It must be so confusing.
Bro just because YOU believe that was your god's plan does not mean everyone has to take your word for it. You do not own her and she is free to make her own choices. People fall out of love, move on. Yall all preach humbleness and blah blah but get real pissy when things don't go your way. Learn to respect them as your equal and not a peice of meat to own and maybe one will put up with you. You sound like a man who would just tell them to "Endure". If they are supposed to endure whatever, so can you big man..
I love it when Pastor Rob says "Nasty". You know it's a good riff when he says that.
🤣
“Another breakdown?”
This is Wage War in a quote and it’s not a bad thing. Songs by them you should also checkout: Deadweight, Indestructible, Low, and Stitch just to name a few.
Would love if you guys reacted to Memphis May Fire! "The Sinner" or "No Ordinary Love"
And also Wanting More
They slept on "Memphis may fire" for too damn long 😂😂
The Sinner for sure!
Nah, that's wingecore
I SECOND THIS! DO THIS!!! PLEASE!
This is probably my favorite BLEGH in a song so it makes me really happy that you enjoyed it Pastor Rob! 😁
I love how Pastor Rob has slowly been growing to love the heavier bits of songs over the coarse of all these reactions.
The part where he's clearing his throat is actually part of the song. I like the way they break down the song, it's like advice also
The band did an AMA on reddit where someone asked where that bit came from. Apparently Briton was getting fed up with not being able to record a good "Blech" so it was a frustration scream mixed in there~
the cough was an outtake where he coughed when he was supposed to "blegh"
That's why it changes and sounds unmixed.
@@johnlibbey5431 it was just a cough, mate
Oh, Sleeper - The Finisher
YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SONG! Don’t sleep on this one.
In the wake of pigs or children of fire would be great
Hush Yael >>>>
I dont even know this band/song but you got my upvote for the pun
Yess!! Wage war is fire 🔥 who I am, low and alive are so good. Pretty much anything by them is good lol
Everything except the latest album 😝😅
@@BigBev121 Yeah their first two albums were good, but yeh it’s been downhill since
I feel like a better song to review would have been Basic Hate.
@@jarrodmoran5308 Yeah, they picked the most cliche breakup song from their discography to review. Blueprints or Twenty One would have made good options as well.
Producer: how many breakdowns you want
Wage war: yes
If you guys like this kind of Metalcore, you guys would really enjoy the Metalcore band Architects! Every song of theirs is good. Although I suggest a reaction to their song Gravedigger
Josh Middleton is the man. Architects and Sylosis are both extremely badass.
Yo, check out “Choke” by Bury Tomorrow. Really sick vocal tones in this band
Great tune and album over all
2020 album of the year!!
@@girthbrooks5307 Tallah’s Matriphagy is up there too, check it out
That entire album is a banger but Choke just hits it for me.
You have got to check out "Stitch" by Wage War. It's awesome, heavy, and has some sweet breakdowns.
Stitch, Low, and Deadweight are all just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@tylerperry4318 Wage War are just🔥🔥 3 perfect albums🔥
React to Aftermath by the Ghost Inside! Also Mercy by the Ghost Inside is really good with a sick breakdown!
I love how Rob seems more interested in the heavier stuff than his son. 🤣
"Ooooo this is gonna get nasty...I call feel it" Same Pastor Rob...Same.....
lifeblood - Brand of Sacrifice !!!
Jim Root from Slipknot uses Stratocasters, Telecasters, And Jazzmasters. They are his signatures from Fender. 🤘
Breakdowns upon breakdowns… love this song…
I appreciate the reaction. Love the words. Thank you guys for listening!
I need you guys to react to "All Consuming Fire" by War of Ages.
They are an amazing Christian metalcore band.
I need it!
Pastor Rob you being open to music like this is awesome. Very open minded. Too many to judge before understanding why we love this music.
I love your videos! It’s been awhile but really love your perspective and goal of getting people to think about music and how it applies to their lives. That’s something that’s important to me and love hearing you both talk about it.
Thanks for all you’re doing. Peace. Chris
Pure Joy is Pastor Rob @2:24
Yes, more of this band please. Stitch, dont let me fade away, alive, prison, etc. Love your reactions and your analysis
We As Human - Take the Bullets Away
I’d like to see y’all react to “The Gospel” by Knocked Loose!
Yes i have been trying to request this!
I agree
Yes please !!! KL my favourite band ever
This is the most 4th wall break BLEGH ever haha I love his nod at making fun of the trope
Real Christian’s shouldn’t have used the word of REGRET. Because Christian’s should need to move on in their lives, if there significant others was in the wrong. We need to forgive and forget regardless and to move on without the hate or anger. Have a blessed day!!! Thanks for uploading the video!!!
It’s always funny to see people’s reaction to the cough/ spit part
blegh*
BLEGH
I love you guys and how friendly and kind you are; I did not know what to expect stumbling upon this channel as a metalhead chick but you guys truly warmed my heart and restored my faith in humanity lol. I wish all people would just take a step outside of the box and simply take a fair listen to some of these songs!
I appreciate the work you guys are doing. Great video!
You should react to some Trivium soon i think you'd like it. But I do love how you reacted to the breakdowns 😂 you get so hyped
Agreed! Strife, In Waves or The Sin and the Sentence
Salvation by war of ages
"Behold the Crown" or "Lost in the Static" by After the Burial (either will blow Pastor Rob’s mind) and "Deceiver" or "Out if Control" by The Ghost Inside
they have already done lost in the static
@@SirLukHipolito I don't believe so.
@@guitarhero159753 yes it seems I got it wrong. Had been watching this song video for some time I messed it up ;)
they have a lot of incredible songs, they are a great example of how deep metal lyrics can get. I came back to listening to them recently and the song "Never said Goodbye" really hit hard
I absolutely love you guys! I've seen Wage War 3 times in person and they're literally my favorite band. Please do Youngblood next!
Wage War!! One of my favorite bands
This was so cool to watch, people being open to all art and music.
Parkway drive - Sleight of hand
Thank you guys for reacting to this song! This is one of my favorites by Wage War because it is very relatable (my ex-wife cheated on my a bunch). This song and White Livered by Phineas really helped me deal with the pain of that experience and move forward, realizing it wasn't my fault
Never thought I’d see a Pastor get so hype hahaha I absolutely love it. Great vid boys, god bless.
Ya'll need to get more into progressive metal. More of Guages wheelhouse of music, I believe, since he likes Opeth. I think you guys would be blown away by these bands and songs:
Between the Buried and Me - The Coma Machine
The Ocean - The Origin of Species/The Origin of God
The Contortionist - Flourish
Yes, also TesseracT's Concealing Fate suite!
Epic song! great video guys!
“Stitch” by Wage War is where it’s at. Check it out
I like your video. Will tune in again:) Love Wage War....you should interview the band members. Amazing young men.
Saw these guys live in April with Spite and nothing, nowhere. They killed it
These guys are awesome, thanks for introducing me to a new band!
A reaction to the Architects is a must given their perspective on death and God. Having a religious reaction is a must
Lamb of God - Laid to Rest, Break You or Ruin
Ocala is where A Day to Remember came from. Not a very big city, but it gave us two awesome bands.
Words Darker Than Their Wings - Alter Bridge live in Royal Albert Hall!
The song is a conversation between the singer an the guitarist about finding faith and finding God. The song itself is amazing and it played with a live orchestra!
crazy how simply giving metal a chance is enough to make someone a fan
Love you guys❤
Always excited when Pastor Rob uploads a new video! :) Also may I suggest you react to some Avenged Sevenfold, songs like Buried Alive or Nightmare, or some more Killswitch Engage; songs like Rose of Sharyn, This is Absolution or I Am Broken Too?! I have a feeling like those are all songs you would enjoy and have a lot to talk about. God bless!
They use fenders. Mostly Jim root models and they sound amazing
You should do a secular metal break up song
You Won’t be Missed - Like Months to Flames to compare how they comprehend loss of relationship
Idk if someone before me has already said anything, but the strats are probably jackson 7 strings. Fender owns Jackson, and sometimes they put out specific models that look like strats but aren't classic strats. It's probably got a humbucker in it and whatnot
Would love to see y’all’s response to The Ocean The Grand Inquisitor, or anything by them on the Heliocentric or Anthropocentric albums. Would be a great chance to get into more theological ideas!
I love this song the mix is so FAT and love your reaction! haha
They do play strats, even live.
Pastor Rob having the time of his life lol
respect.. this was an awesome song. Never hear them before.
"is it the breakdown that makes core music?" " Yes basically" spot on gage but that's a hot take haha
It's not the only thing tbh.
Hardcore shouts, 2steps and specially gang chants are also the hardcore elements.
Was not expecting this but I’m very happy
Shed Your Soul by Oh, Sleeper. They had one of the best concepts in Metalcore. Christian band from Texas with one of the most underrated lyricists in heavy music.
My favourite band is 'Islander' who has some very edgy yet christian lyrics... I'd love to see them analyzed by a pastor that can appreciate metal! The song Darkness has some interesting lyrics....
Loving your takes on music as usual! My friends aren’t the type to sit down and talk about music meaning like I would want them to so it’s fun to see what different people have to say, especially someone with some strong Christian knowledge. I’d like to hear your take on Metallica’s Fade to Black as it’s one of their more depressing less thrash early songs and my favorite song of all time. Hearing your take on Grand Canyon by Puscifer would be interesting too with its theme of peace through nature. Keep up the good word!
I absolutely love their song Indestructible off the second album Deadweight!!! Such a great song lyrically and the beats are amazing as always haha.
YES
Not sure why but this song gave me chills...thank you
Just discovered your channel. Absolutely love it. As a unitarian universalist, I highly respect your non-bias approach to your analysis. I would love to get your take on "Where's God" by ICP.
Guys, you HAVE to do “Rose of Sharyn” by Killswitch Engage someday!!
GREAT SONG!!!
A lot of bands modify their guitars a lot and use dope pedals to help get the sound they want lol it’s crazy.
Pastor looking COMFY in that sweater.
Haha! I really was. lol
Definitely need to check out some of there newer stuff! Hurt, who I am, low, Johnny cash. so much meaning in there songs
I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to wage war and of course it’s my favorite song 🤘🏼🤘🏼
you should react to corpus Christi from Diamonds to dust its sick
I second this
I know I'm late but I third this
Please react to Oh, Sleeper “Decimation and Burial” or “Heavy Hands” (Christian Metalcore)
If you want more bleghs check out Confessions Of A Traitor. Super heavy UK band
Phinehas - Dyson Sphere
Nova Rockefeller - Hey you! Must do!
Death roll is the banger of all bangers from wage wars
Super uplifting song with a 10/10 hook
The in between by beartooth
Norma Jean - 1,000,000 Watts is a must next!!
A band I think you guys should 100% check out is For All Eternity. I think you guys would really appreciate them
Betrayal is worse than death. Death is inevitable, betrayal is a choice.
You can downtune a starcaster with the right digital suite. The shape of the body is purely a matter of taste. That song slams
That cough then growl was cool! Never heard that in a song.
Basic Hate by Wage War will give you a little more understanding on their stance of religion. fantastic song and a great meaning behind it.
"hardcore is like metalcore without the metal"
"...garbage"
With no hesitation 😂😂😂
Could you guys do a video on Royal Beggars by Architects?
Love your videos, watch them as soon as they come out. Learned a lot from your biblical teachings, so thank you for that. I share a lot of your videos with friends/family.
Oh my
That was lovely
such an amazing song definitely check out more wage war
This is the hardest breakup song ever recorded.
We are supposed to forgive however we cannot allow ourselves to be constantly manipulated and people who cheat almost always do it again.
I'll be seeing them August 31st
