Have not been there since 2006, back then had a suzuki sidekick/ tracker all stock with 30x9.50-15's a 3500lb superwinch mounted on front, some recovery gear, a cooler, some tools, and a spare front axle. Those were the days. Hard to believe it has been so long. Seen recent video's and the place sure is not the same pretty tore up now for sure.
I used to go down in the early 2010's, and you could go anywhere on 31" tires. My last time there was 2016 and you need 35's to go where 31's used to get you through.
In 1993 USA today did a story on Wellsville. and called it the best outlaw riding on the east side of the United. And compared it to as good as glamis California. 👍
two friends of mine got their motorcycles stuck in mud one day here at yellow Creek. They walked a long way to get to their 4 x 4. They drove their 4 x 4 to pull the bikes out of the mud... they got their 4 x 4 stuck. They ended up spending the night in the 4 x 4. Soaking wet covered with mud. All they had to eat was a bag of potato chips and a few cans of Coke. The temperature dropped into the 40s that night
That was smart. Rule #1 in Wellsville, don't leave your vehicle alone over night or it might be stripped/burned when you go back for it in the morning.
Yeah it's still open but I think the only legal place to camp anymore is Forbidden Zone. Oaktree is long gone and I think they can ticket you for parking in Free Zone.
Love the truck and dam that girl drivin that samurai and dumpin the cooler out lol .shit I would be so pissed that poor old toyota fj cruiser tipin over :(
Dammed shame that if you get stuck you can't leave your vehicle without worrying about it getting stripped and burnt. We used to go there over Thanksgiving weekend every year. I'd be tempted to park my vehicle on the side of a trail and wait for some dirtbag to come by.
I don't know if it's still that bad down there, I haven't been in about 5 years. There's always people down there up to no good though, read a lot about camp sites and trailers being trashed/robbed.
It used to be fun riding there. Now the side by sides and 4wd vehicles have rutted it out so bad there arent too many places left to go that arent fucked up from them.
I liked the fact that you just showed the action with sound and no annoying music. Nice to hear the action.
Looks like an awesome place. I love that riding environment.

I miss Wellsville so much 😢
Are used to ride my 83 Honda 200x three-wheeler there all the time it was badass.
Good video! Crazy how different the trails are now cool to see how they used to be
Right! You used to get pretty much anywhere down there on 31" tires. Not anymore...
Heard this place is 38" minimum now

I would have loved to ride there in the 90's.
Livingston, Ky was the best unruly place to ride on the east coast in 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Place was utterly insane 24/7 365
@@MrLongwood74 I never heard of Livingston Kentucky but I have been to sneaky Creek and I would give a kidney to go back
I rode there in the 90s and early 2000s had a Blast.
Have you found the article? I've searched but cant find it
One for the best Vill vids on the tube. Nice job!
Such great memories!
The place has changed so much in the last 10 years

Y'all coming down this weekend for memorial day in the ville
I haven't been down in probably 5 years... life, kids & work keep me busy these days. I sure miss MDW in the ville
I took my jeep there maybe 20 years ago. Boy, the place has changed.
Three Camels my first time was about 10 years ago and it's changed a lot since then.
I've been there 2 times it's great
Going on a holiday weekend is a blast, but go on a regular weekend if you want to get more wheeling in. There's a fraction of the traffic.
So is it open to whom ever
Yea. Whatever offroad vehicle you have, bring it. Anything goes.
Love the video but the night party's are freaking nutts. I miss this place
Michael McKnight can you still go there now as of 5-18?
It's Mad Max!
i live in ohio, had buddies that used to go down there back in the 80s and 90s. never made the trip. now, i wonder, is it even still open to ride?
Yeah it's still open but I think the only legal place to camp anymore is Forbidden Zone. Oaktree is long gone and I think they can ticket you for parking in Free Zone.

when does this take place?
any time, but busy days are summer holiday weekends (memorial day, labor day)
Is this open to anyone or is it private land? I want to take the JK there soon!
It's open to anyone and it's private land, not regulated. The only areas you have to pay to enter is the Forbidden Zone (camp)
awesome! Thanks for the info!
Is it me or the clips are sped up?
Just you

Where do you enter to park your truck so you dont get towed?
pitt pa I think forbidden zone is the only place left that is 100% safe
how many miles of trails are there?
I don't think anyone knows.
about 10 I live in wellsville
10 miles
Pewdiepie Pubes
There is way more then 10 miles of trails. In the hundreds. No clue how many but a lot.
Where could I park my truck and trailer to ride here?
Derek Burk Freezone is closed now. Gotta pay to camp at Forbidden or Yellowcreek

It used to be fun riding there. Now the side by sides and 4wd vehicles have rutted it out so bad there arent too many places left to go that arent fucked up from them.

Yeah holiday weekends are crazy. Go on a regular weekend for more wheeling time.
And sure as hell not 3000acre. Haha. Cut in half now. Thank god
