The gameplay had done nothing but annoy us until that point and when we saw that scene me and my wife both became visibly upset at the story as well. The fact there wasn't at least a divorce by the end really soured the game for us
Same - the moment they were like "We need to make her cry!" my spouse and I went "Wtf is wrong with these idiots" The part with the elephant had us fully against them getting back together. The game lost us at that point and, honestly, it should've been about the parents still getting a divorce, but still being friends. It would've been much more interesting and would've done a better job showing that a day of activities and trauma bonding can't fix a fundamentally broken marriage

Honestly this game is one where it was a ton of fun but I hated the characters and the plot. They were awful people to each other and to their daughter, I was 1000% rooting for them to stay divorced by the end of the game.

They both desperately need therapy to cope with all the screwed up things they did on their journey, but refuse to get it because of wanting to appear strong for Rose and each other. One day, one of them, could be Cody or May, is cleaning rose's room, when they stumble upon those wooden and clay dolls. They begin to cry, tears falling on to the dolls. They wake up, back in their old doll bodies, met by Dr Hakim and possibly a new self-help book character. They must then embark on a new journey of making up for their past mistakes by helping people they've wronged in the past, and whatever else the two books tell them to do. Don't know how good this as a Concept is, just thought of it and figured I should write it. Hope you liked it!

You guys should totally play No Straight Roads. The bosses are incredibly unique, the story is actually really good, and also you over throw an entire musical company. Honestly, I think it’s a perfect game for you two and it’d be fun to see you guys play it. Fun stream as always!
