I watched this season when I was in 8th grade and DREAMED of playing in state like this...2 years later and did exactly that. This show had the energy and environment SPOT ON! No show accurately represented sports like this show did.
@@ShamaD274 thanks! Yeah it totally was! Like 80% of the school bussed down to see the game and the whole college stadium was packed. It was definitely one of the coolest experiences.
So true... I use to watch this show episode by episode and and still want to watch each one again....I just realized how the show impacted me and the morals and love behind every episode
@Imogene Granz yes i know, but from a storytelling perspective, it was just kind of boring to watch...i wouldn't of minded as much if they'd still somehow incorporated basketball, like show a few games of someone they were scouting playing or something. instead we had scenes of jamie and his friends practicing baseball.
After my brother died I tried to find the best way to honor him we're always used to watch One Tree Hill together this show brings back the best memories Michael died in 2014 17 years of friendship we never left each other's side he truly is my brother and One Tree Hill will always be the best thing that strengthens the bond of friendship That Grew into Brotherhood I miss you my dear brother more and more everyday I will always carry with me
Characters gotta make mistakes. Then grow from them, its kinda what keeps things interesting. And made for a good redemption story for when Nathan played ball in College with Lucas as his coach.
When the show first started I always wondered why Antwan Tanner (Skills) wasn't on the team considering all the history he had playing basketball players on screen(Sunset Park,Nickelodeon all stars,Moesha,etc...) but than I understood that he was there to support Lucas because as Skills so sesinquley put it in an episode "You don't belong here dawg" (Which also made me wonder who was writing my g lines?,cuz he said dawg after every sentence 😂 🤣🤣) which meant that he understood that Lucas was good enough to be on the team and that (by his own inference) him and the other guys at the river court weren't. But than Antwan Tanner went and did another basketball movie (Coach Carter) which was produced by the same people who produced One Tree Hill.(Which I'm guessing had something to do with him getting the Coach Carter role) so,when he came back to filming OTH it probably only made sense to the writers (and because of all the momentum of coming off the success of CC)that Skills should be on the team. but, to me it really cheapened his character arc. First off just the logic of the situation if he was that good he would have been on the team already. Secondly,it was inferred the first couple episodes that him and Ferg and the yt dude(I can never remember his name) didn't go to Tree Hill or had already graduated. Thirdly, like I said before really cheapened his character arc from a really selfless friend who was there to help his friend navigate through his new life to this one note very selfish, self entitled character he became by season 4.
Cuz he did wear eye liner in da beginning of season 4...it was dat episode when dey had class partners nd he gave Glenda first draft of his novel nd dey made a bet bout wearing makeup for a week nd she even painted da eyeliner on his face for 1st time during same episode
Not enough action to make a video. The triple threat of the Scott brothers and Skills became the coaches of the team after the jump and not a lot happened on the river court.
And season nine only has like a few basketball scenes And season six had a few aswell, Lucas coaching again (6x04), then writing an screenplay for an ill-fated movie adaptation, him and Nathan dont get a scene for their last episode (6x24), Nathan joining the NBA (6x24) and we already know that Nathan gets kidnapped (9x05). Season 8 didnt have none since Nathan retired from Basketball.

It was such a shame when they got rid of it and had Nathan be an agent instead

I watched this show probably a million times and I don't get over it, best show ever

When TV was worth searching when coming home from school

So we gonna ignore the fact the Nathan double dribbled in that final possession during the championship game
Yes.
The (basketball) sneaker evolution from seasons 1-7 is quite the transformation
I so loved watching this show x
I definitely enjoyed these moments.
I was in grade 4 one tree hill show made me basketball fan n I m player now love this show always n 4ever
Completely off topic but who else feels skills would have made a good tupac in all eyez on me
the scene with the water was so well made
The end best season final 😭😭
I will always love this series
Oh god i miss this show
Watch when it was live airing?
Weird that you posted this 2 weeks ago which is the same exact time I started rewatching this show again for the thousandth time.
Awesome one tree hill
Thank you i was really hoping u wud do another one now that I've watched ur last vids over and over
Man I hated it when Nathan was point shaving. It wasn't fair to the rest of the team. Definitely pissed skillz and Lucas off, understandably.
Characters gotta make mistakes. Then grow from them, its kinda what keeps things interesting. And made for a good redemption story for when Nathan played ball in College with Lucas as his coach.
What if someone blackmails u and tell that he will hurt your Family?
Was always pissed Slillz never joined the team with Lucas. They needed the players
Nathan - Michael Jordan
Lucas - Scottie Pippen
Skills - Dennis Rodman
Don’t rlly agree with skills being Dennis he’s more of a Ron Harper I think
That bulls team didn’t have anyone similar to Skills. Skills is like Gary Payton or Pat Bev lol
I think Lucas was more like Steve Kerr
Does anyone know the song that starts playing at 17:58 I’ve literally searched night and low and I have no idea
Its heartbeats by jose Gonzalez
"i'm about to have all the females getting my name tattooed all over they body" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA I'M FUCKING DEADDDDD LMAOOOOO
Why is this not on netflix

Lucas Scott should be in the NBA

@@SiBanstead89 still found enough for season 2 and they weren't really playing any basketball considering it was off-season.

The later seasons (5-9; 2008-2012) can't even come close to this. I'm sorry but it just my opinion.
As a guy who just watched the show for thr first time It went downhill when chad left, season 9 did bring it back when Dan was in a regular role tho

I hated the point shaving plot. Was really unnecessary imo .
I don't think so cause stuff like that happens!
@@kellyallen6830 genuinely curious. Does it happen in highschool basketball tho? Like I know it might in major games but highschool?

what made me mad was that a team would never foul if they were down by 9 with a couple seconds left
