Excellent, you nailed this one 100%. Also very important to mention here. You played it the way Rex plays it. I've seen it a hundred times done differently by other bass players. The specific part is the main riff 0:16 with the open A String instead on the 5th Fret E String. You're the only one on here besides Rex who plays it like that. I've tried for years and still can't.

Randomly came across this after watching the CFH Ozzfest performance, as a player myself I instantly subbed man! 👍 You have that raw, growling tone down to a T, absolutely nailed it. Rex Brown is a beast, he got kinda overlooked overall but he was essential to those rhythms locked in tight. The overall rhythm writing that goes on underneath Dimes solo has always been awesome to my ears, there's some awesome stuff going on right there

Thank you! I agree completely. Rex sat right in the pocket and kept all of the matching riffs with Dime so meaty. If you’re talking about the 2000 Ozzfest, I’ve seen that one a lot. I was lucky enough to see them that year when I was 13. Changed everything for me
