there's a series of witchers books, a series of witcher games that are sequels to the books, and a show based on the books BUT all you really NEED to understand the witcher is to watch the first season of the witcher show for the backstory and then go straight to the witcher 3: wild hunt. Of course I'd recommend the first 2 games and the books(ignore the show after season1) but it's not absolutely necessary to get the story and to play the witcher 4.
Well, the tricky Patches generally appears in all Miyazaki’s games. Maybe Gwyn's son somehow got here too...... or they use bosses and their mechanics in other games.
I figured I would check in after work because the last few years the game awards has had very little for me as far as games I want to get awards and announcements. But holy cow what a ride. From my 2 favorite games of the year getting lots of love (Balatro and Helldiver). Too lots of announcements that I would not have seen coming in years Such as Okami. Time for me to raise my expectations for next year and probably not come away nearly as hyped, haha.
@@влад_ярославцев i thought so, i've only played the games and even Geralt reacts like it hurts when he drinks the potions, so if it hurts an actual Witcher to drink them it must be really bad for a normal human

Ciri using potion is hella strange, but okay. Female witchers would be added eventually
Its a potion. Tf are u talking about. Its not a witcher ritual.
@@marktime7692 aren't the potions dangerous to non mutants though? pretty sure its mentioned they're highly poisonous
@marktime7692 people can't consume Witcher potions and not die without passing Trial of the Grasses. In my memory Citi never passed it.
@@vegvisir9276 it's mentioned few times throughout books and games
