This video shows what happens when you bury food waste or food scraps directly into your garden bed - things like fruit and vegetable scraps and egg shells.
This is by far the easiest way to compost. It won't work unless you've got a bed that won't be used for a while.
I couldn't believe how quickly some of my food waste decomposed and turned into healthy luscious compost ammended soil ready for planting!
There were also a few bits that hadn't completely decomposed in the garden.

I put scraps through the food processor sometimes, it doesn't take long to turn into nice compost.
