Im usually not one for religious bands, because I'm Agnostic (i mean, they literally reference jesus in this) but, for some reason i love this band....

God states that when one is accepting God,he will weep uncontrollably and for no reason known to the one weeping. Trust me,you will find him one day. Keep your faith alive. Some people have prayed 20 years just to find Jesus Christ(God)and they eventually do find him. You cant expect to find him in less than a week,or even in 1 day. God is listening. Let me repeat, God is listening! The enemy wants you to think that he is not listening because when we doubt, it blocks our blessings and it angers God. Do not doubt at all. I struggled for SO MANY YEARS my friend, thinking that God was not listening to me. What I did was I commanded every demon of doubt, unforgiveness, blame, hate, anger and sexual sin to depart from me. Those are just a few. You have to deliver yourself and use the Jesus's name when commanding them to leave. Do not talk to them though, DO NOT TALK TO THEM. Only tell them to leave in the name of Jesus and that you rebuke them in the name of Jesus. God is listening to you. Another thing you have to do, AND YOU HAVE TO STOP HATING AND CONDEMNING YOURSELF FOR, is repent of your sins. Stop hating and condemning yourself of your sin and instead repent of it. When we are sinning, the enemy is FEEDING your mind with lies and self hate and perverse thoughts about your sin. Stop it. Stop sinning. And don't beat yourself up if you slip up. Christ died for us on the cross so you cannot condemn yourself that you are forgiven for once you ask for forgiveness and repent. Also, in Romans, Paul said that since we have been freed from sin, how can we still live in it. Do not fall victim to sin and transgression. Ask God in the name of Jesus Christ to cleanse your iniquity and to forgive you and to also give you HIS strength, HIS knowledge, HIS love, and HIS wisdom to repent of your sin. He loves you so so so much. He is listening. It is the enemy that is attacking you making you think that he is not listening because of your sin. Also, relisten to this song and really read every lyric that he is saying in the song. The singer is mentioning the lie that the enemy is planting in your mind and then turning it around to say that Christ felt your pain and that he died on the cross for you. He loves you. He is listening to you. He knows your every struggle. Trust me, I went through all of this and Just came out of all the lies. The enemy had a grip on me because of my sin and now I am free based on the gifts God has given me so that I can repent of my sin. Ask God to GUIDE you and to give you every gift you need to turn from your sin and start following Him. Also, again, STOP CONDEMNING YOURSELF FOR YOUR SIN. Christ died for you on the cross. I love you brother. If I didn't then I wouldn't have written you all of this. Also, God loves you brother. If He didn't, He wouldn't have used me right now to read your message and write you an entire page on how much he loves you. Also, anyone reading this, this goes to you as well. I love you all and God loves you all and He is listening to all of His children.

Personally I don't believe in Jesus; I do believe there is a God(s) however. But let's not focus on that. Our beliefs are one of the basis for our very being and while I can't say I agree with some of the violence and non-logical statements of religious texts I can respect people who use it to try and lead a morally good life. Always remember people, no matter your beliefs we should respect and love one another because I think we're all in agreement that's what our creator(s) would want.

Good song, but they lose me at 2:09. Like the theme, lyrics are very strong, but the more downbeat low tone appeals to me more than this sudden (and somewhat random) outburst near the end. Not how it happens. Should stay gloomy all the way through. Tends to happen with most of their songs, still my favorite band though. Earned my like.

Alot of good bands are religious, i don't mind though. They are good and will always be for me. The lyrics aren't always the "i pray for god to tell me if someone loves me" sort (as in we all know they are religious). Goodluck with your other bands if you don't like religious bands though XD

this song did stuck in my head. i was depressed and still have some down times. i read the lyrics and it touched. but there was one line i couldn't get out of my head "...jesus christ he felt your pain"! and by your it means every persons pain. jesus did took all the pain and suffering and sin to the cross. and you can't properly imagine the pain of already 84 billion people (googled it persons that lived like since humans lived) and even more.
like with all the wars and the torture but also the mental pain.
and if you think about that, your pain gets smaller and smaller in comparison to his pain.
but he also dies for your pain... so yeah... it feels good to know that someone knows how you feel.
