Absolutely right. That's exactly what it is. Sir Kenneth as a Shakespeare connoisseur and great director and Sir Patrick with his wonderful music created an an incomparable masterpiece.
This final scene is just fantastic- great music and atmosphere, but that one long shot that finally pans out over the whole valley is just incredible!!
I read the play and saw the movie in my English class this semester, it was really cool because when the movie ended most of the girls and even some of the boys of my class got out of the room singing or humming this song
Amazing amazing scene. I don't even want to think about how long it took to plan out or how many times they had to rehearse this, but boy do I appreciate the final product.
The thing, that makes this video a masterpiece is not only the great music and the super ending of this great film, but that there is not a single cut in the whole scene !!
When the camera started rising, I went "wait a minute" and then kept going back, looking for the cut. But there is none. This is amazing cinematography, but the scene and the visceral happiness it radiates is so overwhelming that no-one bothers about it. Amazing film.
This is the greatest Shakespeare adaption I've ever seen. And the language in the beggining is Hungarian if someone doesn't know. Thank you, Kenneth Branagh!
Hehe, most látom, hogy a magyar szinkronosból lett feltéve :-) Legeslegkedvesebb vágás nélküli (!) snittem, fantasztikusan meg lett komponálva.
@loonygoldfish I know, I think that every time I see the movie. (Denzel and I have the same birthday: Dec 28) Beatrice should''ve married him when he asked; since Benedict is really kind of a weenie. So's Claudio. The only non-weenie guy ends up alone! Doesn't seem right.
this is one of the most gorgeous ending scenes i have ever seen! much ado about nothing is a really underrated movie that people should give more love to 🥲
This is a masterpiece, ladies and gentleman. Unfortunately underrated, but a real masterpiece! 👏💖🎇
It's a masterpiece, that's why it is underrated.
Not exactly, but I think I got your point.
was just thinking redoing this in 2024 would be pointless, this play & film adaption is TIMELESS!!! ❤
@@chellaseagleton8748That aged well considering the movie Anyone But You, which came out this year, was based off Much Ado About Nothing
Absolutely right. That's exactly what it is. Sir Kenneth as a Shakespeare connoisseur and great director and Sir Patrick with his wonderful music created an an incomparable masterpiece.
I will never cease to be amazed that this is one continuous shot, no cuts, not even when the camera goes up for the overhead shot. Brilliant.
This final scene is just fantastic- great music and atmosphere, but that one long shot that finally pans out over the whole valley is just incredible!!
the world is urgently in Need of an HD Version of this song

I like the choreography and the music is beautiful!
un charme inouï, une légèreté brillante.
Wonderful music in a wonderful location: "Villa Vignamaggio" in Greve in Chianti (Florence, Tuscany, Italy).
One can stay there too. It's an eco tourism site with rooms to rent.
..all one scene.....amazing!
That is a SINGLE SHOT people.

Tragicomedy. I believe that's the word you're looking for. ^-^ Because that's exactly what this play was. You are correct, good sir.

Umbridge too
This movie has a lovely ending 🥰

Funny thing about the song - for all its eloquence, its message is basically to quote another source, "...Men suck."
mastershot :)
The longest take of the whole film!
Yes, Robert Sean Leonard is Claudio.
i heard this in school and i cant stop fucking singing it in the shower
I bet Brian Blessed could do this on his own and have the same effect :P.
bet that scene was fun to film
Ça me donne des frissons
Grand! I always recite these lines to myself, when my boyfriend has been a dick and I'm feeling despondent:)
Fabulous overhead travelling shot: better than Truffaut!
Just what does Benedictus say at the beginning? What language is it?
I've never been able to figure it out. I wish someone would tell us!
He is asking for music to dance.
It's in Hungarian.

❤❤❤
I keep imagining this as a Shakespearean lip-dub!
it is a comedy of his, nobody dies in a comedy. (btw was kenneth speaking english in the beginning?) o_O
It's from the Hungarian dub.
Funny pants, Wilson...
Take note Harry Hale my life life long love of the bard.
LOL it sounds like he says that!
No, he speaks in Hungarian :)
Its a Dream
I think the song is technically "Hey Nonny Nonny".
did i see robert sean leonard at 0:11? looked like him 0_0
That was him
Thou art sad, Price!
