I think we're all toxic, to an extent. We're all imperfect. We just have to decide what level of toxicity we can tolerate in someone else, while trying minimised our own.
It's true that we all have weaknesses anda tendency to toxic behaviors sometimes. That is normal. A toxic person however is a very different matter. It's kind of like how in the Bible we're taught to look out for the wolves in sheep's clothing. No one is perfect but you want to make sure you're with a sheep not a wolf. Thanks for watching!

We as men have been socially conditioned for the past 30 years to think it’s always us and the female is always right. This has been hammered in our brain through television, pop culture and entertainment/literature. This has been done on purpose by various pro-female/anti-male interest groups imbedded in these cultural niches. Your friend is an example of the tragedy of the fall of real manhood in recent western civilization. Luckily, men are getting wise to this and breaking free of these mindsets and looking back to our forefathers and their definition of existential masculinity. You are a great example of women who are also helping this generation of men get out of the fog. Thank you for who you are and what you are doing. We need to see women who reinforce that not all women hate men...(which is the social conditioning girls received at the same time that we were conditioned this way). 100%. When the verbal abuse kicks in, it's like I'm watching a sitcom. It's all pre-programmed into them as a side effect of pop culture pandering them to get their attention/money. But hey, if it destroys relationships in the process it's just collateral damage.
My recent ex gf who I thought was the one since she and I dated for supposedly 5 months ghosted me out of the blue. Gave me a half hearted apology then blocked me after I poured my heart out about how I felt about her and the situation she put me in. As I result of the emotional stress I found out she called me a stalker to her online friend group when she was dating me. Which hurt my self esteem which was already low at the time because of abusive ex gfs. That resulted in a panic attack that caused damage to the tendons in my heart (still recovering). I went into a crisis center because of the situation and finding out that she was cheating on me since thanksgiving. Personally love for me has been a struggle and filled with painful burdens that have led to depression, anxiety, and emotional trauma. For any one finding love I hope it is safer than what I have experienced up till now as I keep on searching.

The biggest thing to remember when a girl ghosts you is that it isn't a reflection on you. It's pretty unkind to do that to someone so it's actually a reflection on her. “Toxic” Thank you. It’s always my fault, she constantly blames me or holds me responsible for how she feels. I “irritate” her, she thinks, on purpose, therefore she mistreats me by being disrespectful or contemptuous.
I just managed to escape from a relationship with a girl showing many of these signs. By the end I left feeling even ugly and unattractive because of these subtle verbal abuse situations.

If you're dating a girl who makes you feel like crap, just break up with her right away. no second or third chances, she will not change 99% of the time.

All signs are accurate, my ex wife did all these things. I put up with it for 8 years, she cheated and I left her. Alot of lessons learned from that experience. Going on a year now and I'm living my best life.
My girlfriend basically ruined any possible future relationship with another girl. She pretty much hit all of these red flags... Yikes. No wonder I have felt the way I do about relationships, marriage and dating. Unfortunately, it's been 5 years and my first serious relationship so it's all I really know. My trust meter is basically at zero with women, which is pretty upsetting for me. And unfortunately, I think since I was dealing with this I picked up on her behavior patterns and started to mimic them as a defense mechanism.... ugh
dealing with this now. Shes never wrong. Nothing is ever her fault. She gets offended at the smallest things and if I respond "sorry i didnt mean to offend you" she gets triggered and freaks tf out over what should be considered as an apology in the mind of any adult. absolutely exhausting. Claims all the time that she was better communication, but if shes upset and i dont why she wont talk to me and tell me. And when we finally do get tot alk she waits til the middle of the night and then doesnt care to listen to anything i have to say. As soon as i speak its tears because she isnt getting her way and yells over me. I blame idiotic reality tv for the most part. Where the show is driven by drama and damn near every woman has a rude roll their eyes attitude if everything isnt falling their way. Incredibly toxic and beyond exhausting

oh man!!! this video helped me so much! I have an ex, my recent one. And she was just like this! The only problem is that I don't think she knows that she is toxic, I know her mom is a toxic person. and i'm sure that's where it comes from. My ex and I were together for close to 7 yrs. she was everything this video described. Out of this, unfortunetly developed anxity and pannic attacks through depression over this in and out of this relationship and still recovering from it. insted of yelling at me she just constanly has aditude twords me. but when she is at work (we work in the same place) she is very different. she was extreamly emotionally draining. pluss she was extremely controling, and always trying to get me to push away people in my life, friends and family at times. now looking back at this makes me realize how aweful she was. not to mention, she has hardly any friends, same with her mom, maybe one friend here and maybe one there but mostly they have each other as they are the same with like minded personality traits. i wish i could of broken it off sooner though. but now I know more and realize that she is truly toxic. And I do find it better without her, i feel better and still trying to get over her, because i miss her but I think its the companionship that I miss the most. she was loyal, but I think she had no one else that would give her the time of day other than me. anyways... this video helps me so much to realize this about her more and helps me to detach myself from her grasp. she broke up with me btw. and i'm trying not to chase after her now realizeing all this.

My girlfriend gets mad at me some night I wanna play online or stream on Twitch. She always sits in the same room as me and gets upset when I start talking to people. She also didn’t like that one of my friends one night ducked out early and it was just me and another friend who was a girl, and my girlfriend got jealous and asked me to always have another guy friend in the chat. On top of that I try streaming on Twitch and she gets upset whenever I’m on for like 45 minutes, literally after we went and worked out, ate dinner, and watched a show together. She always feels like she has to be touched or shown love otherwise she’s not attractive, and constantly keeps trying to tell me how the female body is and how she has such a short time to have children so we need to get married and I’m no where near ready. I stopped streaming last night cuz she guilted me, and then said she was kidding. So pretty much if I would’ve kept streaming, She would’ve been upset, and since I stopped streaming, she was upset anyways... I tell her these things and she always says how she’ll try to do better, and even started going to therapy sessions to help, but nothings changed. It’s been kinda showing for a little over a year now, but now that we live together it’s REALLY come out. Am I just grasping at straws or am I just overreacting to this and I should pay more attention to her? I feel as though I give her so much of my time and push her to write and be a better teacher, but when I wanna play games, and stream, cuz I’m technically a game design major so I look at things very differently in games and animation, she always gets upset and hates it when I need privacy and quiet to stream and she can’t be in the same room as me.
My advice would be.....get to know her really well before committing. What's she like in the real world with everyday issues? Does she anger too easily and take forever to cool down? Does she argue rationally? Does she click with your family? Find all this out early so that if she has traits you can't live with, you can back out before it becomes too involved.

My partner is always causing arguments the most recent ones is her friends will tell her something about me that isn't true and instead of asking if it is true she asks what I do in a situation that is relevant to what she was told and when I give her an answer and proof that I'm not lying she just doesn't trust me

My ex girlfriend used a lot of “you made me react that way.” “I didn’t mean it that way.” “You overreacted.” .” “You need to stop reading things that way.” And she would say the most hurtful things before doing saying those things and I mean hurtful. She would lash out and say something very mean and I would of course be like wow that was mean. And then she would say those things. She turned my friends against me. She even thought I should be there for everything even when she was drunk, abusive and mean. But as soon as I was going through something hard she made it about her and broke it off with me. I’m glad she’s out of my life but it still hurts and watching this helped a lot tbh

Also complained because I missed sending her a pumpkin spice latte at the time she wanted and said she wasnt going to drink it today, that maybe that would happen tomorrow. Would that be toxic? i'm honestly getting really tired of her attitude whenever I do other things I like or love that don't involve her, my glass getting beyond half-full....

My ex is passive agressive from a tramatic family, we work together, shes been jabbing at me under her breath and passive agressive body language, she dumped me 3 months but some hows she butthurt at me 🙄, but today she smarted off about gettin her family to back her up one (passive agressive threat veild as a joke) so i told her " hiding under thier skirt huh?, when are you gonna be youre own person and take responsibility for your actions?" And walked away the look on her face was priceless, i. Am. Not. Her. Doormat. Now if she quits acting petty ill treat her in kind but i told her i give what i get , dont play thier bullshit , value yourself 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

My ex was married and divorced 4 times by the time she was 41... according to her, all of her ex's were "crazy and cheaters" ..In the 9 mths we were together, she did all of these except for the physical abuse. She specialized in verbal and psychological abuse.
@@zippyblessed839 I know it may sound funny but at the time , it was almost a living hell. Head games, mental and emotional abuse take a huge toll and alot of time to overcome. Especially when you truly care about the person that's inflicting the àbuse.

Yes Nathan, it was exactly the same for me .. I didn’t figure out my ex was a narcissist till a year and a half after the divorce and 22 years of a rotten marriage. There were things I enabled or let slide when red flags were lit up by her .. it was my fault for NOT having consequences for her bad behavior .. the one consequence that all of these toxic people understand is your leaving them .. the weird thing is previously I HAD broken off relationships with toxic or controlling / manipulative women for unacceptable behavior or total disrespect toward me and 3 of them actually stalked me afterward .. 2 for 6 months or longer .. I came to understand later that they were so used to getting their way because of their looks, it flipped them off the deep end when someone like me didn’t care about how they looked but how they treated me ., Hope you’ve made great strides since your posting ..

And me !I now have nothing and became an alcoholic and when that stopped bandaging the hurt and constant mental stress and anxiety I wound up becomeng a drug addict . Now I feel like I'm just here without any perpous really, I miss my daughter and I do take care of both of my disabled parents who depend on me day and night or I probably wouldn't be here if it wernt for that because I know they dont deserve any mental confusions of the questions that would never be answered. And my wife who is a Warden now by triad still blows my phone up all day and night and she still guilts me to do what she wants me to, and of course it's my fault , it's always all my fault and I don't really feel how I say I'm feeling because it's not her actions that make me feel that way and of course if I loved my daughter then I would change my ways, lol, Man I have changed my way so many different time and ways that I really have know idea how to even be anymore , but I know that we are supposed to love, and help when we are able in any way and never to judge no one,that's not our job anyway, but most people haven't figured that one out yet and it's the easiest, I mean people drive write, just stay in your own lane. Anyway that exactly how I live my life #1 love,love,love, every person you come in contact with and never stop no matter how much they rest you or hurt you and don't look down on no one unless your reaching down to give them a hand to help them back up. Learn when to walk away, gentlemen. Story for y'all: I had a thing going on with my coworker for a little while. We never got to date because she was going through some things. I respected it, but she still kept showing signs of interest. After a while, I found out she was talking to someone else. I wanted to remain as friends. I ended up getting Covid for 2 weeks, and not once she texted me to get better. However, prior to Covid, I met a nice girl (who's a lawyer), that takes time out of her day to text me back. She even wished me to get better from Covid. Said coworker has made no effort to ask how I've been since Covid, nor asks me anything about my personal life anymore. The lawyer at least makes an effort with me. You never know when things get better after a possible toxic relationship.
My girlfriend and I have been together for at least 2 months and in this short duration of our relationship, it's kinda hard for me because she always expects me to reply her messages within 1 minute while she takes 4-5 hours to reply my messages, said I can't have female bestfriends but she can have male bestfriends. I am doing everything for her but she takes it for granted and one day, we got into an argument, and at one point she asked me, "where am I in your priority list?" And I was like taken aback by her words. Every blame is put on me and belive it or not, she gets mad at me when she's hungry. It feels emotionally, physically and mentally draining

My gf couldn’t control her anger and she ruined everything. I gave her chance after chance and was patiently supporting her and willing to accommodate her but she didn’t care to do the gritty work for her anger. Screaming at the top of her lungs like she’s gonna crash her car and hanging up in my face. Just a real disappointment. 2 years down the drain. We had everything to be happy.

Toxic!!! We were engaged for 12 years, together a total of 14, and I missed all these signs, other than she wasn't physically abusive. But did she know how to manipulate and lie. She felt talking to other men through messenger or text wasn't inappropriate. She completely went off the deep end when I friended her friends on Facebook. Thank you for the information.

Super interesting information. For myself I would just like to say that it depends on the type of toxicity in some women. I've had in some of my relationships all's great for the first few months, and the truth shines through, and the game starts, in a very disturbing manner. The game of trying to break the man that they supposedly fell in love with...... we all have our problems l know, no body's perfect. I've chosen to stay relationship free for nearly 2 years now. She always compared me with other men who had money. I am still striving to grow and build my resume; she’s always get mad I didn’t have any money. She then compared me to her sisters boyfriend, saying “My sisters boyfriend is taking her on a trip. Yeah she’s happy - He gives her money when she needs it”. It really destroyed me. As a Man, it really broke my spirit. When I’d grind for hours and hours and hours; it wasn’t enough for her.
I've been putting up with someone lately who I found is pretty toxic and was gaslighting me. She's supposed to be a Christian, wants a boyfriend/husband very much, but I don't see how anyone else can put up with her if she's been mistreating me. Also called me names, insulted me, made fun of my past troubles. I even thought of the possibility of dating her for a time, or at least working on a project with her, but she's clearly someone I shouldn't be close to. She even claims to be a great catch.
I noticed that my bf always blames me fore everything, It's always my fault. I try to tell him how I feel, he shows no sympathy when I'm crying or having a breakdown. Only a few times he hugged me or kissed my forehead for a little bit. After that little bit he just goes on his phone. Idk if I'm toxic or not. I'm so confused and I want to cry, I'm so lost, I'm scared to tell him how I feel now. :(

He sounds like either an overt or covert narcissist. My dad is like that, nothing is ever his fault. He also rarely shows any affection. These are common narcissistic traits. I recommend leaving before it gets worse. Narcs have less empathy and that’s why he barely cared when you were crying.

I started googling certain things about behaviors with a covert malignant narc I was with and BOOM .. found the stories that matched my story .. a therapist 5 minutes away I found secretly and he had a lot of knowledge of narcissism .. he told me to tell her that he needed her to come in to see him so she could help him figure out my problem .. it was brilliant as I knew she wouldn’t go but with this she did .. the therapist saw her once and later told me to get out ASAP as the lights are on but no one is home and I did .. hope you’re doing better
I have been lost in a relationship for almost 5 years now. I have a social career i'm a very talkative and hand shaking "meet and greet" kind of guy. Love having people over, meeting new people and hearing their life story. I just love to connect to other people. We have been in countless awesome situations and opportunities that she has effectively ruined due to being jealous of me getting along with literally any other human being outside of us. From jobs I've just quit to other creative opportunities I've let fade away. I feel so stuck. I'm trapped in my inate want to be loyal. I know I'm at a place where no one else can help me or do it for me. I dont want to waste anymore of my 20s, I dont EVER watch videos and stuff like this. Hi Melannie, I've been with my current girlfriend for over three years and we've been in a long distance relationship for about 2 and a half of those years and she's really pressuring me into moving in together but I'm still at university and I always tell her I can't make her false promises because I don't know where my life will take me. I'm also a very introverted person and need a lot of time to myself and my own space but when I tell her this she gets really angry and tells me I'm being selfish and that she's not important to me (which is not true). She's also very condescending and patronizing and throws tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. She does however have a very kind and caring side to her personality but seems to switch back and forth between the two. Basically she's very very insecure and its very draining for me. Yeah.... You just described my ex. Holy crap that was accurate.. I was also blind like you said in the video. I made excuses and thought everything was my fault... We had massive fights and she would say such mean things, like really personal stuff. About me and my family, my mom and my sons... And she could never ever ever say she was sorry when the fight was over.. I never ever got an apology for all the hurtful things she could say... That really broke my heart.. But the thing that really made me realize that it was she who had the problems was when she during one of our fights actually hit me as hard as she could with her fist 3 times in my back, while i was holding our like 6month old baby..... That just wasnt sane man... I was like in shock after that... We stayed together for a while longer but that was the day when whatever love i had for her, started to die.... She had all the things you said, she could never be wrong, she could never say sorry, she complained alot about everything, she put me down all the time because i was always wrong, she had an insane temper, she called me hurtful things and my family, she could actually get physically violent... And this woman was taller and wider than me and very strong so i mean she could have really hurt me if she wanted to... I was actually scared of her sometimes... Now in hindsight i realize i should have gotten out way sooner, but now im single at least. And i have ZERO interest in meeting someone new now... I dont think i could survive it if i met someone new and she turned out to be toxic and insane too... That would just totally break me beyond repair... Feels safest to just be alone right now... I have been burned bad by women and now i dont want them anymore basically.... Sad but true...

She only stopped. When she eventually died on me. From organ failure. That messed me up on many levels. I'm still not healed. And it's been 3 years. I'm still trying to cope with things. This has been hammered in our brain through television, pop culture and entertainment/literature. Your friend is an example of the tragedy of the fall of real manhood in recent western civilization. Luckily, men are getting wise to this and breaking free of these mindsets and looking back to our forefathers and their definition of existential masculinity. My recent ex gf who I thought was the one since she and I dated for supposedly 5 months ghosted me out of the blue. Gave me a half hearted apology then blocked me after I poured my heart out about how I felt about her and the situation she put me in. As I result of the emotional stress I found out she called me a stalker to her online friend group when she was dating me. Which hurt my self esteem which was already low at the time because of abusive ex gfs. That resulted in a panic attack that caused damage to the tendons in my heart (still recovering). I went into a crisis center because of the situation and finding out that she was cheating on me since thanksgiving. Personally love for me has been a struggle and filled with painful burdens that have led to depression, anxiety, and emotional trauma. For any one finding love I hope it is safer than what I have experienced up till now as I keep on searching.

She gets offended at the smallest things and if I respond "sorry i didnt mean to offend you" she gets triggered and freaks tf out over what should be considered as an apology in the mind of any adult. absolutely exhausting. Claims all the time that she was better communication, but if shes upset and i dont why she wont talk to me and tell me. And when we finally do get tot alk she waits til the middle of the night and then doesnt care to listen to anything i have to say. oh man!!! this video helped me so much! I have an ex, my recent one. And she was just like this! The only problem is that I don't think she knows that she is toxic, I know her mom is a toxic person. and i'm sure that's where it comes from. My ex and I were together for close to 7 yrs. she was everything this video described. Out of this, unfortunetly developed anxity and pannic attacks through depression over this in and out of this relationship and still recovering from it. insted of yelling at me she just constanly has aditude twords me. but when she is at work (we work in the same place) she is very different. she was extreamly emotionally draining. pluss she was extremely controling, and always trying to get me to push away people in my life, friends and family at times. now looking back at this makes me realize how aweful she was. not to mention, she has hardly any friends, same with her mom, maybe one friend here and maybe one there but mostly they have each other as they are the same with like minded personality traits. i wish i could of broken it off sooner though. but now I know more and realize that she is truly toxic. My girlfriend gets mad at me some night I wanna play online or stream on Twitch. She always sits in the same room as me and gets upset when I start talking to people.
She also didn’t like that one of my friends one night ducked out early and it was just me and another friend who was a girl, and my girlfriend got jealous and asked me to always have another guy friend in the chat.
On top of that I try streaming on Twitch and she gets upset whenever I’m on for like 45 minutes, literally after we went and worked out, ate dinner, and watched a show together.
She always feels like she has to be touched or shown love otherwise she’s not attractive, and constantly keeps trying to tell me how the female body is and how she has such a short time to have children so we need to get married and I’m no where near ready.
I stopped streaming last night cuz she guilted me, and then said she was kidding. So pretty much if I would’ve kept streaming, She would’ve been upset, and since I stopped streaming, she was upset anyways...
I tell her these things and she always says how she’ll try to do better, and even started going to therapy sessions to help, but nothings changed.
It’s been kinda showing for a little over a year now, but now that we live together it’s REALLY come out. Am I just grasping at straws or am I just overreacting to this and I should pay more attention to her? I feel as though I give her so much of my time and push her to write and be a better teacher, but when I wanna play games, and stream, cuz I’m technically a game design major so I look at things very differently in games and animation, she always gets upset and hates it when I need privacy and quiet to stream and she can’t be in the same room as me.

My advice would be.....get to know her really well before committing. What's she like in the real world with everyday issues? Does she anger too easily and take forever to cool
down? Does she argue rationally? Does she click with your family? Find all this out early so that if she has traits you can't live with, you can back out before it becomes too involved.

She would lash out and say something very mean and I would of course be like wow that was mean. And then she would say those things. She turned my friends against me. She even thought I should be there for everything even when she was drunk, abusive and mean. But as soon as I was going through something hard she made it about her and broke it off with me. Wow... you described my last relationship to a tee. I cared about her very much but we fought like cats and dogs all the time. Thank you for bringing me some clarity on what was actually going on, I'm much happier with the decision to part ways.
This year:
- I took my little sister to Disneyland, my girlfriend complained that i dont look as happy on pictures with her as I did with my lil sis at the parks

- I went out to a BBQ with guy friends and she complained I wasnt sending pictures or responding fast enough
- Today I went out with my best friend from Highschool I haven't seen since last year and she complained that since she was sick from COVID I should have stayed home and facetimed with her to watch a movie even though I send her an uber with a breakfast for her. Also complained because I missed sending her a pumpkin spice latte at the time she wanted and said she wasnt going to drink it today, that maybe that would happen tomorrow.
Would that be toxic? i'm honestly getting really tired of her attitude whenever I do other things I like or love that don't involve her, my glass getting beyond half-full....

My ex is passive agressive from a tramatic family, we work together, shes been jabbing at me under her breath and passive agressive body language, she dumped me 3 months but some hows she butthurt at me 🙄, but today she smarted off about gettin her family to back her up one (passive agressive threat veild as a joke) so i told her " hiding under thier skirt huh?, when are you gonna be youre own person and take responsibility for your actions?" And walked away the look on her face was priceless, i. Am. Not. Her. Doormat. This was very interesting to listen too..I’ve only been in 1 long term relationship with my daughter’s father and feel like we’ve both been toxic for each other for years. It sucks when you treat someone like a king while they treat you like dirt. My ex was married and divorced 4 times by the time she was 41... according to her, all of her ex's were "crazy and cheaters" ..In the 9 mths we were together, she did all of these except for the physical abuse. She specialized in verbal and psychological abuse.

Yes Nathan, it was exactly the same for me .. I didn’t figure out my ex was a narcissist till a year and a half after the divorce and 22 years of a rotten marriage. There were things I enabled or let slide when red flags were lit up by her .. it was my fault for NOT having consequences for her bad behavior .. the one consequence that all of these toxic people understand is your leaving them .. the weird thing is previously I HAD broken off relationships with toxic or controlling / manipulative women for unacceptable behavior or total disrespect toward me and 3 of them actually stalked me afterward .. 2 for 6 months or longer .. I came to understand later that they were so used to getting their way because of their looks, it flipped them off the deep end when someone like me didn’t care about how they looked but how they treated me ., Hope you’ve made great strides since your posting ..

And me !I now have nothing and became an alcoholic and when that stopped bandaging the hurt and constant mental stress and anxiety I wound up becomeng a drug addict . Now I feel like I'm just here without any perpous really, I miss my daughter and I do take care of both of my disabled parents who depend on me day and night or I probably wouldn't be here if it wernt for that because I know they dont deserve any mental confusions of the questions that would never be answered. And my wife who is a Warden now by triad still blows my phone up all day and night and she still guilts me to do what she wants me to, and of course it's my fault , it's always all my fault and I don't really feel how I say I'm feeling because it's not her actions that make me feel that way and of course if I loved my daughter then I would change my ways, lol, Man I have changed my way so many different time and ways that I really have know idea how to even be anymore , but I know that we are supposed to love, and help when we are able in any way and never to judge no one,that's not our job anyway, but most people haven't figured that one out yet and it's the easiest, I mean people drive write, just stay in your own lane. Anyway that exactly how I live my life #1 love,love,love, every person you come in contact with and never stop no matter how much they rest you or hurt you and don't look down on no one unless your reaching down to give them a hand to help them back up. Learn when to walk away, gentlemen. Story for y'all: I had a thing going on with my coworker for a little while. We never got to date because she was going through some things. I respected it, but she still kept showing signs of interest. After a while, I found out she was talking to someone else. I wanted to remain as friends. I ended up getting Covid for 2 weeks, and not once she texted me to get better. However, prior to Covid, I met a nice girl (who's a lawyer), that takes time out of her day to text me back. She even wished me to get better from Covid. Said coworker has made no effort to ask how I've been since Covid, nor asks me anything about my personal life anymore. The lawyer at least makes an effort with me. You never know when things get better after a possible toxic relationship.

My girlfriend and I have been together for at least 2 months and in this short duration of our relationship, it's kinda hard for me because she always expects me to reply her messages within 1 minute while she takes 4-5 hours to reply my messages, said I can't have female bestfriends but she can have male bestfriends. I am doing everything for her but she takes it for granted and one day, we got into an argument, and at one point she asked me, "where am I in your priority list?" I gave her chance after chance and was patiently supporting her and willing to accommodate her but she didn’t care to do the gritty work for her anger. Screaming at the top of her lungs like she’s gonna crash her car and hanging up in my face. Just a real disappointment. 2 years down the drain. We had everything to be happy.

Super interesting information. For myself I would just like to say that it depends on the type of toxicity in some women. I've had in some of my relationships all's great for the first few months, and the truth shines through, and the game starts, in a very disturbing manner. The game of trying to break the man that they supposedly fell in love with...... we all have our problems l know, no body's perfect. I've chosen to stay relationship free for nearly 2 years now. Think its more about if a person can reflect on their own flaws of an argument even when its in the heat of the argument.. Some people just sees red and lash out even if their wrong in some points.

I've been putting up with someone lately who I found is pretty toxic and was gaslighting me. She's supposed to be a Christian, wants a boyfriend/husband very much, but I don't see how anyone else can put up with her if she's been mistreating me. I noticed that my bf always blames me fore everything, It's always my fault. I try to tell him how I feel, he shows no sympathy when I'm crying or having a breakdown. Only a few times he hugged me or kissed my forehead for a little bit. After that little bit he just goes on his phone. Idk if I'm toxic or not. I'm so confused and I want to cry, I'm so lost, I'm scared to tell him how I feel now. :(

He sounds like either an overt or covert narcissist. My dad is like that, nothing is ever his fault. He also rarely shows any affection. These are common narcissistic traits. I recommend leaving before it gets worse. Narcs have less empathy and that’s why he barely cared when you were crying.

@@TheBrianagh some counselors, therapists or psychiatrists do not understand narcissism very well or at all .. I started googling certain things about behaviors with a covert malignant narc I was with and BOOM .. found the stories that matched my story .. a therapist 5 minutes away I found secretly and he had a lot of knowledge of narcissism .. he told me to tell her that he needed her to come in to see him so she could help him figure out my problem .. it was brilliant as I knew she wouldn’t go but with this she did .. the therapist saw her once and later told me to get out ASAP as the lights are on but no one is home and I did .. hope you’re doing better
I have been lost in a relationship for almost 5 years now. I have a social career i'm a very talkative and hand shaking "meet and greet" kind of guy. Love having people over, meeting new people and hearing their life story. I just love to connect to other people. We have been in countless awesome situations and opportunities that she has effectively ruined due to being jealous of me getting along with literally any other human being outside of us. From jobs I've just quit to other creative opportunities I've let fade away. I feel so stuck. I'm trapped in my inate want to be loyal. Hi Melannie, I've been with my current girlfriend for over three years and we've been in a long distance relationship for about 2 and a half of those years and she's really pressuring me into moving in together but I'm still at university and I always tell her I can't make her false promises because I don't know where my life will take me. I'm also a very introverted person and need a lot of time to myself and my own space but when I tell her this she gets really angry and tells me I'm being selfish and that she's not important to me (which is not true). She's also very condescending and patronizing and throws tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. She does however have a very kind and caring side to her personality but seems to switch back and forth between the two. Basically she's very very insecure and its very draining for me. Yeah.... You just described my ex. Holy crap that was accurate.. I was also blind like you said in the video. I made excuses and thought everything was my fault... We had massive fights and she would say such mean things, like really personal stuff. About me and my family, my mom and my sons... And she could never ever ever say she was sorry when the fight was over.. I never ever got an apology for all the hurtful things she could say... That really broke my heart.. But the thing that really made me realize that it was she who had the problems was when she during one of our fights actually hit me as hard as she could with her fist 3 times in my back, while i was holding our like 6month old baby..... That just wasnt sane man... I was like in shock after that... We stayed together for a while longer but that was the day when whatever love i had for her, started to die.... She had all the things you said, she could never be wrong, she could never say sorry, she complained alot about everything, she put me down all the time because i was always wrong, she had an insane temper, she called me hurtful things and my family, she could actually get physically violent... And this woman was taller and wider than me and very strong so i mean she could have really hurt me if she wanted to... I was actually scared of her sometimes...
Now in hindsight i realize i should have gotten out way sooner, but now im single at least. And i have ZERO interest in meeting someone new now... I dont think i could survive it if i met someone new and she turned out to be toxic and insane too... That would just totally break me beyond repair... Feels safest to just be alone right now... I have been burned bad by women and now i dont want them anymore basically.... Sad but true...

I feel your pain. I was in a toxic relationship for ten years also. She was an alcoholic. I thought if I showed her how much I loved her. She'd stop drinking. And being abusive. It didn't work. She only stopped. When she eventually died on me. From organ failure. That messed me up on many levels. I'm still not healed. And it's been 3 years. I'm still trying to cope with things. Yeah that's exactly, my girlfriend says very often too, "I may be wrong" or " forgot" or "as far as I know ", whenever I forgot force me to mention this words, if not she would be angry or hung the phone or stop the conversation .

I love this boy i'm with so much but it feels like I always start our fights and i'm just not perfect.
