I actually miss Brawl Wolf's voice. I don't mind Wolf's voice in Ultimate, heck it's good but Wolf's brawl voice is better imo. I also like Jason as Sonic's VA too.

Sonic VA in Brawl are unique lines that he record, they should done that back in Sm4sh, but they were too lazy to get Roger, I hate Sm4sh and Ultimate Sonic’s VO for that

@@Soup-manUh, remember that the FOXDIE was neutralized near the end of MGS4, by Big Boss himself? He straight up tells Solid that the FOXDIE won't kill anyone else anymore, and that the FOXDIE inside him, won't turn Snake, into a living time bomb, and tells him to live out his remaining years not as a soldier, but as a man, before killing himself, and a vegetative Major Zero, right in front of The Boss's grave, and apologizing to both The Boss and to Snake, feeling like both himself and Major Zero had misinterpreted The Boss's will this whole time, and had created this whole war between both Zero and himself. Not sure how he manages to look younger in Smash Bros though...

Sonic's Ultimate screens are so good, but his thumbs up pose looked the most natural in Brawl with his back facing more towards the camera. Also miss that dynamic camera angle when he runs torwards and past the screen in Brawl. The camera shake in Ultimate is great though. Also they finally got his mouth decent

I like how Ultimate changed naming whichever Pokemon finished the match of the Pokemon trainer and saying they won to just saying that the Pokemon Trainer wins instead. Always felt in Brawl it was kinda mean if you used one Pokemon for most of the match, but happen to end with a different one and the game declares that Pokemon the winner.
Squirtle, you're doing amazing! Holding up the entire match! You almost got- WOW IVYSAUR YOU HIT THEM OFF THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I EVER SAW!!!

Yeah honestly his mouth looks like a sticker. It may have been modeling issues considering how difficult it must be to animate his side mouth especially in a fighting game.

Brawl will always have the best Sonic. Roger did not even want to voice him in Sm4sh or Ultimate, so some of the lines are still from Jason. Also, his up aerial is way better.
Idc what anyone says, Sonic looked way better in Brawl than any other Smash game. His design was the best.
I love Brawl Sonic. Sm4sh Sonic looks really good, but then he looks very bad in Ultimate. Sonic has such excellent detail for being a rushed character in Brawl. And his second English voice gives him way more personality than his third one.
@@Medachod His design in Brawl was heavily based off of 06. 06's design was pretty cool. But Smash 4 and Ultimate uses his Lost World/Forces design and it's not as good as his Unleashed, Colours and Generations design.

15:05 I personally like Brawl's the best. His pose looks exactly how it should. Sm4sh & Ultimate looks off to me. And he says one of the most iconic phrases from Sonic. "Sonic's the name, speeds my game."
Honestly, a lot of the character models or designs are off in Ultimate, it’s not just Sonic. Take a look at Shulk as well.
Pit and Sonic used to sound douchier with their lines in Brawl. That was great. Also just miss Sonic's second English voice in general.

You can tell Sonic wanted to win. Same with Mario, he always looks mad. Lucas looked pretty upset when he lost too in Brawl. Both Sonic and Lucas smile for their opponents in the newer games when clapping.

I don’t know why but I think I like Sonic’s victory poses in Brawl better. They’re more expressive not just in the case but in the model too even if the mouth is a little weird.

Why does everyone keep forgetting that Ike has 2 separate voice overs in Ultimate for each of his two outfits?
I like that little turn to the camera that Meta Knight did in Brawl with his "You have much yet to learn" victory animation, I'm sad that it was never preserved and he instead keeps that strange pose.
I miss Jason Anthony Griffith voicing Sonic in Brawl.

I love how Lucas of all 70 characters is the only character that has some semblance of character growth throughout the Smash games. He looks so timid and meek in Brawl, but looks so happy and brave in the other two games.
Also, a little off topic, but I think it should have been Lucas who survived in World of Light instead of Kirby, just as an homage to his arc in Subspace.
Aldo Vesper I think the whole point of WoL was the fact that everyone is here, and now they are dead. Kirby survived because 1. He is Sakurais boy and 2. He is a great tutorial character, watch RelaxAlax’s vid on him
[McMeatloaf Man] I think it’s because Sakurai himself stated that Kirby is technically the luckiest character out of all of the Smash Bros. cast. Kirby doesn’t have anything holding him back. The fact that Sakurai’s own creation was the survivor was a mere coincidence.

The fact that Sonic has like, a REALLY good victory theme (The one from 06) but if you're even slightly decent at playing the game, you'll beat most of the sonics you'll find and probably hear it eleven percent of the time.
Smiling like that won't bring Claus back.
I'm honestly mad that they changed the Earthbound character's victory song. The old one had a sort of mythical and magic feeling to it if that makes sense

All the voices for every character in Brawl were x100000 better than the games now. Brawl was the best smash game imo. Had an actual story mode, target break, all star, an actual classic mode, easy UI to navigate...
Competitvely speaking it was bad. But casually, most importantly, everything about it was fucking superb 👌

Sonic got a downgrade in Ultimate. Just look at the emerald and he doesn’t even look in the camera. Oh and the mouth... it’s looks drawn in the new one.
Yeah, even Brawl Sonic looks way better. It's weird too, because the Wii U model should look inferior. Maybe it's cause Ultimate only had a couple of years of development, considering it started right after Sm4sh finished, which had six years.

Are gonna ignore the fact that lucus pulled the sword out of the ground and it went flying up into the air. Yet it didn't land.
That’s because it’s not a sword, it’s a needle. Long story short, that animation is based off of the one Lucas has in Mother 3 whenever he pulls a needle-and the needles disappear when he pulls them.

Yes! I hate her hair in both Ultimate adn Sm4sh, why couldn't they make a normal ponytail like in Brawl? Wii Fit Trainer has a normal looking tied hair, wish they made ZSS's hair like hers. And her bang in her eye bother me, I prefer the one she had in Brawl. The only thing I like about her design in Ultimate is her body, I think the muscles really fit her, she was thin in Brawl and skinny in Sm4sh...
