12:10 *sounds of broken glass and screaming*
12:50 "fly underwater"
Also known as swimming.
Overstun happens when you deal A LOT of extra stun damage compared to the remaining health of the target. 60 stun dmg on a target with 50 health doesn't get overstunned, if injured to like 10 health, it may die of overstun. Don't know the exact percentages, but i killed a lot of bad guys that way.
I assume that throwing more stun grenades on an unconscious dude "for good measure" would exacerbate the stun and eventually lead to overstun? Or am I just completely wrong and increasing stun on a body doesn't work? It's not like you could have stun rodded a body in vanilla, so this is a bit new to me. I never knew the exact way overstun works, only that it's a thing.
@@ClosetYeti throwing stun grenades on unconscious dudes works like a charm, the most important thing is that you don't like carpet bomb people with stun grenades, like 5 or 6 on one poor gillman. Your grenades, however, should not be capable of sending an alien into overstun (they're too weak), maybe with thermal shock launchers you can do it. I looked around on the internet, since I wasn't quite sure about the amount of stun damage necessary. It seems to be 3x the current health amount, if nagas have 80hp, for an overstun you need at least 240 stun damage. Still, I haven't played this modpack myself, it may be different but I honestly doubt it.
Hope I was helpful!
Tl;dr yeah, a grenade or two should not be a problem on an unconscious dude.
funfact: "Kevlar" (mentioned in the aqua plastics lore tab) is a brand name for a common strong material- in other words, if you use something named Kevlar, you are working with a private company.
Nooo! Not private companiez11!!! Those damn capitalists!11!1!
Proprietary eponyms! I still get a laugh about Velcro wanting everyone to call it "hook and loop fasteners." Just rolls right off the tongue.. 🙄
I always love watching your videos and the way you narrate over like with rimworld and xcom, like imagining muffinbeard kicking open the door and opening fire is so much better of an experience when I picture it with you narrating rather than visuals. Thanks for your great content
Stunning does not count as killing the civilians, I used multiple stun grenades to save most of the civilians on a mission and there was no issues.
Oh, good to know!
lol, "WHY ARE YOU THROWING A GRANADE AT ME?!" "IM HELPING YOU!!" true X-com fashion
@@theonlylynx8316 The panicking civilians don't know what's good for them, sometimes it's best to give them a jab with a cattle-prod to keep them from getting themselves hurt while your team does their job.
I do think it would be pretty hilarious to be in this situation, just seeing X-com soldiers tazzing every person and sight and throwing dozens of explosives at aliens.
@@CaptmagiKono I suppose a good way to have a civilian get out of the line of fire is to *force* them out of it.
@@kirbyis4ever Sad thing is that you can't pick-up unconscious civilians like you can aliens and fellow soldiers, they just don't show up in the inventory screen. I'm honestly surprised the aliens did not develop some human bombs or something that was intended to suicide bomb unexpecting Xcom soldiers during terror missions, that would be pretty surprising.
I'm going to say, Calcinites are one of the worst enemies in this mod, even with liberal use of explosives, they are extremely durable and their proto-plasma form has stupid aim considering aquanauts in diving suits die in one hit usually.
Molotov looks like he'd never give you up, let you down, run around, or hurt you.
12:05 that cloning tech is really rough the more copies you make jeez.
Any specific reason the new vids arent in the playlist?
The SECRET PROJECT SuperKrug guy has gained alot of stats since part 12, i wonder what steroids you stuff him with, and what this thing (project, not steroids) really is.
ermahgerd there's shinies in this game?! Gotta catch the shiny! I got a shiny Nidoran AND and shiny Magnemite last week :3
Bullshit. Fraps or it didn't happen ^^
@@ClosetYeti You can get a screenshot tweeted at you AND LIKE IT! :D
Aww cliffhangers.
Yay I'm here
I don't think Pheonix's Point can stand up to the OG XCOM. Too bad...
Especially with the big mod packs
