Today I'm going through every skill in oldschool, showing the most AFK methods for each one. These would work great with OSRS mobile or if you're planning to play at work or while you watch videos.

why do i have to have a credit card to do a free trial?
brimhaven rockfall method isn't working for me...
In the vid your camera view doesn't move alongside the player but ingame it does and so the cursor repositions to a different tile.
help! pls

I think AFK has also just started to mean you don’t have to pay complete attention the whole time, and that it’s easy to do certain things at the same time. For some skills, that isn’t the case at all, you have to pay complete attention. (At least if you want to the be most efficient and/or earn money)

In this context I believe afk means multitasking as opposed to being actually afk.
That would be idling, not afking

Time is money, friend!😉 I let that shit run in my pocket while I'm working. Only had to reset aggro every 10mins which takes like 10 seconds
It’s not playing as little as possible, it’s playing so much that you want to play when you shouldn’t be like when you’re working so you have to find ways to afk haha
And get the most.of it
DEFINITELY not the ONLY game where that's a high priority.

@@PoppeyJoe77 hes most likely doing nmz afk 6hr. You can get all cb 99 using this method and you only need to click once every 15-20 mins.

The definition of AFK really changed over the years. Not having to pay attention for 45 seconds isnt AFK imo.
You take what you can get you know, but I know what you mean, Ive seen people vigorously arguing that Agility is afk. Wild stuff lol.
Anytime you go away from keyboard is afk
In a game with a logout timer of 5 minutes, you can be away from the main window. For a little under a 1/5th of your log in time.
If you need a truly afk activity during work, farm ammonite crabs.
That's literally as afk as you can get in the game.

@@harrisonchambers29 I have good news for ya, that is not the most afk you can get. At higher combats bandits never lose aggro and you have 20 minutes until you log out. Con is that you need to eat periodically/use guthans. Higher combat and def makes it more afk, also better gear obviously.
I miss the days where AFKing could result in losing your gear and waking up on the steps of lumbridge

People who are complaining and saying “so why even play the game if you’re going to afk” are obviously relatively new to the scene and haven’t been playing the same game for the last 15 years lol. I’m at the point in my addiction where I don’t want to fully focus while I train, yet i don’t want to “not play the game.” Ya know?!
Remember the times we play one account and only focus on the screen while killing moss giants and nothing else

My dad always supported me and would pay for a year of membership on my birthday during the years I was most active. He never got it, but during my time playing I spent 80% of the time doing multiple things, my favorite of which was learning. I was homeschooled through a private school that sent you your work for the year and you would mail it in to have it graded. My deal with myself during the school year was I could play as long as I wanted as long as I also did schoolwork. I finished high school before I turned 16 and picked up a ton of hobbies and read a lot of books. I explained it to him later in life when he asked how I could type so fast which was a benefit of playing pre GE and getting 99 fishing the first time on free to play before my friend jacked my account and I got 99 fishing again on members

Best AFK mining method is Amethyst mining with expert mining gloves I know it’s a high requirement but it is technically way more afk than MLM still great video as always Theo 💪
6:28 incorrect. Inferno eel (and sacred eels) spots change MORE than regular spots. The benefit is that you don't need to bank, making it the ultimate fishing afk

I think a lot of the kids who play osrs these days don't realize afk stands for "away from keyboard" not "Have to definitely be at keyboard and click at least every 10 seconds, maybe even less"

In the AFK agility method for the rockfall obstacle in Brimhaven, how the camera is not following the player and stay in place. I have a difficult time figuring this one out.

i cant find the video but im trying to find the program where you can use 2 mouses? trying to play 2 accounts and do thieving on one.
You can afk thieving/ little farming with highest lvl sorceress garden and turn in squirks for thieving exp. One click method is every 40 seconds

That afk farming method is the most genius thing I've heard. Would save loads of money.
You know the game is good when the players are focused on making new techniques to not play the game.
Training is not "playing the game". You play the game once you've reached certain thresholds, meaning getting a fully enjoyable experience is typically blocked off by those thresholds. Just like real life, you don't enjoy grinding the gym to get that perfect body, or hitting the books to get that good grade. You enjoy the fruits of your labor after the fact.
@@futurepastnull11 Have you never talked to someone who enjoys reading or going to the gym? This is a videogame that honestly doesnt have that good of rewards if you dont enjoy the grind. What is there to do? Pk? PvM? Neither of which take long to get the reqs for....
He literally said at the beginning of the video that usually the reason are for when you're already busy doing other things like work. Jesus Christ people just can't help to spout BS at at every opportunity.

I like to combine the gold smithing and jewellery making in edgeville, smith full load of gold bars then make amulets, only need to bank once for 2 full invs
Its a bit out there but you should show npc aggression lines within the NPC aggression plug in, it shows where you need to run to re aggro, can sometimes be a couple steps to the side to re aggro! Helpful for sand crabs instead of running of the screen you just run 2/3 tiles
how does he rigidly fix his camera like that in order to spam in the brimhaven dungeon?
Thieving Summer sq'irkjuice in the Sorceress's Garden minigame is 140k thieving xp/h and requires a few clicks every 20 or so seconds.

This video is almost perfect. Only note I have is to say what levels a player may stop failing obstacles and such at, rather than vaguely saying low levels. What is considered low level, especially when your'e showing yourself mining pure ess with a dragon pick lol. Just a thought as it would provide level goals
So is the raids farming method with a farming outfit? Or can you not even take that into raids?

Thieving is super easy with mobile. Trap an ardy knight(or find a world with a splasher) and then turn off npc attack option. Then just keep tapping a bunch. You can get a moneybag every single tick and just have to open them every so often.
Mahogany homes is halfway decent afk after lvl 70. Once you get the hang of the teles and a plank sack I got 74-86 in a couple days
Does anyone else’s phone crash when playing mobile at the Ourania alter doing RC? Is there a way to fix this?
NMZ is my fav afk. Good combat experience and just have to replenish your potions like every 5 mins or so

If you choose to afk gold at a furnace, don't forget the goldsmith gauntlets

You can afk thieving at sorceress garden if you do the 1 click method. About 120k xp a hour if I'm correct as well. Think it is about 30 seconds to run the maze.

that teamplayer program would be really good for making darts, just click rapidly on both of your mouses with one curser over each of the ingredients.

having a def pure. you actually can kill a monk its rare but happens. happened to me atleast 4 times on my 1-75 grind
You didn't mention Summer garden for thieving afk training. It is really hard to set it correctly, but if you do so, you can basically 1 click take the fruit and run past the guards every time for every 40 seconds.
It's too rare to get the opportunity. You spend a minute concentrating to find the right time then get 15 seconds of afk time

Boost distance settings, click less. More viable a solution.
For fishing, you’re better off going to the spot just south of priffindas, a bit east of the iowerth camp. The spot NEVER moves (fly fishing, trout and salmon) so you can AFK until your invent is full and then drop fish and repeat

For thieving SG can be consdered afk,with about 10 seconds of downtime
Theo - to go with your double mouse trick i highly recommend a foot pedal for afk theiving. 11:50

While it is still technically considered afk, it would be better described as idle. The vast majority of tasks/actions that require players to go afk can easily take longer than 5 or 10 minutes, which is only met by a few of the skills you listed. In other games where the inventory is significantly larger, you probably could consider crafting a task that can be afked, but otherwise, it's just considered idling
Surprised you didnt mention butter churning under the cooking skill. Probably the most afk method since it takes so long to turn cream into butter(or cheese even)

afk / passive for construction is wintertoad from fixing the braziers
flesh crawlers are a good afk combat training for low levels. They drop herbs so ranarrs make some money and they stay agressive for ever.
Finally a way to play other games while i play this game
ayyylmao I’ve been at nmz from 70 combat stats and almost 90 now, only learning about the construction bones now , and barely been picking them up RIP

I’m disappointed you didn’t mention afking at blisterwood since it never moves, and afking sentinels for 20mins since they never lose aggression, and are next to an altar and a bank

for melee afking a really handy tip is to use a dinhs bulwark spec to aggro all monsters around you at once without having to manually hit them all, lots faster than method shown :)
In NMZ they are aggressive by default
