Keep the intro ,yes as have stated ,only on longer videos.
Keep the intro, but as a few others have stated, use it on the longer build videos not so much on the shorter preview videos. It wouldn't be the same if you stopped using entirely. It's a fun, quirky little snippet that has been a part of this channel for a long time and wouldn't be the same if you got rid of it.
Very long time fan, it wouldn't be Andy's without the intro!
Firstly, keep the intro. Thanks to you I got back into scale model building after a 20+ year hiatus so thank you. Secondly, you absolutely MUST do a video of building this model.
My two year old has missed the intro. She dances to the song and laughs when you pop out of the model box.
At least I’m not the only one then. The lady if the house always looks at me funny when it happens. (I have toned the dancing down a bit when she’s around)

Use the poll funtion in UA-cam and have everyone (that wants too) vote. That will give you a good idea what the viewers want as far as the animated intro.

I just finished building this monster. The parts count is over 1,900 with 760 for the tracks, and about 600 or so for the interior. The tracks while workable are somewhat insane. You have to glue five pieces together per link while not getting adhesive on the 6th piece which is the pins. You must not remove the sub-sprue holding the pins in alignment until AFTER you glue all the pads in place. You glue it up in sections of six links plus one extra pin set which connects it to the next set. It requires 10 sets per track and there's an inside and outside to pay attention to. The outside has the hollow looking pin end. That means you need to pay attention to the direction from which you lay the pin set into the fixture. It took over an hour to assemble the first set of six links. By the time I was done (several days later) I was doing a set in about 10 minutes. This was after trial and error and working on micro-adjustments to how I pre-positioned the parts and handled them. Compare that with the Meng M2A3 Bradley I just bought which has workable tracks consisting of one snap-together part per link. The Ryefield track was over-engineered, very fragile and frankly, would not be successful with any put experienced and persistent modelers. The rest of the kit was also over-parted (if that's a word). Many small units consisted of 6 or more parts that didn't add that much detail while complicating the build. Lastly, Ryefield is stingy with their alignment pins. They are too small, the pin holes are too shallow. Glue sometimes dissolved these tiny pins leaving no pin at all. With all that said, it made an amazingly beautiful model with an actual working gun recoil.

Glad they did not incorrectly name it M4A3E8 . The M4A3E8 was only the few that were built to test the E8 suspension. Once it went into production it was either the M4A3 (75) W HVVS or the M4A3 (76) W HVVS.
Put the animation back in it's fun to see and it belongs there, it's not the same without it. This kit should be delivered to me tomorrow so happy days. I look forward to your build review. All the best from the UK ✌🏻🕊
What's not to like? The intro takes maybe 10 seconds. Personally, I like it! That is what makes it Andy's Hobby Headquarters. Put it back in!
Believe it or not, I miss the intro. I say we keep it. The tank looks awesome, and I don't do a lot of armor.
The intro is part of you and the channel keep it, this short intro really says that building is fun which is all about Andy’s HH.

Thanks for the review! This model reminds me of the old Aurora box art, and the old Bandai Sherman’s, but, that was 48th scale, and more than a few years ago. As for the intro, my feeling is leave it alone. It worked just fine, and it’s not why we tune in anyhow! Save your time, money, and resources for other things!

I like the intro. It's what makes you, you. I've been a military modeler since building the U.S.S. Arizona back in 1971 and still I enjoy and learn helpful tips from your videos. I wouldn't change your format. That would be like altering your favorite recipe and expecting to receive the same taste.
Welcome. It's a great set. Despite the quite high price in Poland, I was able to finish it last month. The interior is amazing. The only thing I added from myself was making cables from the radio and delicate modifications of the engine based on archival photos. Waiting for the film where you will submit it. It's not a bad intro at all, and I am a lot more impressed now when I heard about the maker. It is worth keeping (or updating) just because of that. That said, I find that UA-cam videos are better without lengthy intros. So, a bit of both, I guess. Maybe a two-second version for shorter videos. But by all means encourage that talent!
I like the intro. I always look forward to hearing "let's get started!" followed by the animation. It's a nice reminder that we do this for fun and not to take it too seriously.
Hi Andy. You could do an intro in the Two and a half Men sitcom style. (i.e. As the years progressed Jake grew and that was shown in the intro). Let your son do a new intro and then morph the old into into a new one...

In the post D-day battles there were so many photos of blasted german tanks it was a topic ripe for dioramas but there was less material covering allied armour. Ive seen book after book on german stuff- hence perhaps the response by model manufacturers...

Now that I know it was made by your young son it feels even more part of the Andy’s HHQ identity. Can’t believe you have any mean-spirited viewers who would complain about it, especially when they can just skip over it.
All we need now Andy is for some manufacturer to produce a 1/16 piece of American/British armour with full interior

Keep it! There was nothing wrong with it. It is an essential part of your branding.
The RFM M4 is IMHO the best Sherman to date. I bought the one without the interior in January while visiting the store. The tracks are actually not that hard to assemble and the end result is really good. Lots of parts though. One more thing the kit comes with the T80 tracks that was seen in theatre in late January 45 at the earliest. Before that was the T66 tracks used As mine will be an earlier version will I use MasterClub T66 tracks instead.
