👋🏻 Just wanted to remind you that if you would like to shop with me as your advisor you can click this link: www.CreativeMemories.com/user/LaurenHinds I would love to connect with you and invite you into the perks and resources I have for you as a customer! 💞 And for those of you who are advisors who do not have an upline, I would love for you to join my team! I love supporting my team to have fun and grow their businesses. Feel free to contact me for more information!
As a newly reinstated Advisor, I have no upline and I did need somebody who can take me under their wing and explain the business. I asked it was kind of overwhelming. Perhaps we can discuss at another time? I live in Central Florida and in the process of establishing a scrapbook club in my church. If this is possible I have a FB account and DM Peter Torres
Hi Lauren, my name is Peter and I have to shout: FINALLY!!! A video that is specific to my needs. Lauren I’m a 55 y/o retiree that became a Grandpa to my first little munchkin grandson. With this Pandemic and being home most of the time, that catapulted me to do my Scrapbooking again; the last time I scrapbooked my 18 y/o was born (2003). I find joy in scrapbooking, capturing memories with something you can hold in your hands and not on a computer or phone. We’ve become too dependent on digital media. I reinstated myself as an Advisor for Creative Memories because I do like the quality of their products and I am interested in personalizing or customizing their fabric albums. Truth be Told buying specialty albums breaks my bank so if I can DIY why not? It is quite refreshing to see your video. They’re to the point and your voice is at a pace that one can understand you don’t sound like an auctioneer like some videos I see. For that you gained a Subscriber. I look forward to binge watching your videos. Cheers!
This is a great tutorial on how to put an album together! I watched several videos and yours is the only one that explained each step. Thank you so much!
Lauren, your presentation was not only easy to follow. it was so very informative. Thank you so very much for sharing not only your knowledge of Creative Memories, but your love of scrapbooking.
Thank you so much Lauren, this video was so helpful, I made the mistake of taking my new happy album totally apart I was so confused about the assembly. Your video seems to be the only one on YT that shows how to due the complete tear down and redo procedure, again thanks.
Thank you so much for a well-done presentation on how to put together an album “from scratch”. Following your instructions, my album is now whole again - yay! 😃
I just found your channel. Love it! I started selling Creative Memories in 1999, and stopped about 14 years ago when my kids were born. You have re-ignited the love of CM in me with this video. I remember saying almost all these things to my customers over the years. I will definitely be scrapping with you on Fridays.
The instructions on how to put a CM album back together if you've gotten it all apart was VERY helpful. If anyone else needs this, it starts around 36:34.
I started out in 1996 buying CM from a dear friend....scrapped a lot! Got away from CM and got into other crafts. Now with 2 grandchildren I am interested in again! TFS this info!
While watching many of your videos I often wondered why you chose to create pages within an cover set... perfect explanation here. I plan to do that now to prevent duplicate pages that I misplaced and found again with POP. :). Also, the parchment paper tip is fantastic!! Thanks again for great videos. So glad to be a part of your CSJ friends.
Thank you Lauren. So much wonderful info in this video. I've always wondered what to do if an album was taken apart from the front. Now I know. Also I never knew the parchment paper trick for sliding on page protectors easily. Thank you so much for all your hard work putting together such great videos.
Thank you so very much for this awesome in-depth discussion of all the CM scrapbook features. Very helpful and shows me all the options needed (want) for my scrapbooks.
Love this tutorial! Was also glad to hear your opinion that pictures should be the star of your scrapbooks. I see so many pages these days that consist of one or two pictures with TONS of ephemera, etc. I like to make a pretty page, but I do tend to use a lot of pix/journaling in my pages and was beginning to feel quite forlorn when looking at others' exquisite pages!
OMG, thank you so very much for making this video. I am a long-time user of CM but have not used them lately and just decided to make one of my unsued albums for my artwork. I had one put away that was already taken apart, and I tell you, I could NOT figure it out even when I luckily found the little instruction pamphlet. BTW I noticed this video is from 2020 and you mentioned CM is still around. I had no idea as I thought CM had gone out of business. I will certainly check out your link. Again this video instruction was the best!!!!
Lauren as usual, you give us amazing information, that is useful and easy to follow. Thank you so much for your time and all the effort you put into your videos. I so enjoy your videos and really look forward to them. I am going to get some information from the one and only C.M supplier here in the U.K about having my albums customised. If I can’t get it done from here , I will ask you to order them for me. I love the parchment paper trick , I’ve never heard of that before. Thank you for sharing and blessings to you and your family. Xx
I love CM. Always have. I thought I saw a YT video not long ago where you said you were leaving CM.... This video has totally inspired me, and I know I have to get back to CM scrabooking again Thank you, thank you, thank you
That was brilliant, thanks Lauren!! As you might remember I was a consultant 20 years ago but with time stopped working on my scrapbooking and got into card making. Then the company went under with an odd line no one liked till 5 years ago when it came back!!! Yeah!! As the original CM ( which it is now again) is truly THE BEST!! This is then when I got interested again but haven’t done much. This year I really got into it again and had so many questions!! One of my album broke - the cardboard piece by the hinge 😕; but I had way too many pages in - and I needed to fix it. I took the album apart and couldn’t get it back together again 😅; and there are no tutorials on it!!! Found only one and that’s adding pages. Bu I needed to get it together, ALL of it. It took me a while to figure it out. Now I’ll have a reference through you, yeah ❤️👏 Thank you Dear!
Thank you Sabine💕Always nice hearing from you, and so glad you have found your way back to scrapbooking, and the new CM! Glad the tutorial was helpful- I thought people would need to see the entire process, not just how to add pages 😉
@@sabineh.9486 The plan has been radically redesigned , I think personally, specifically to support the home crafter, as oppised to forcing them to sell products, slthough they can if they want to.
I recently ordered the 12x12 top loadable page protectors and they have no hooks on the side how are they used? Thanks so much for sharing! Is it possible to get a catalog with the order I just placed
Thanks for this great presentation. I am looking to change all my album to “a new line of albums “. Glad I found this video ! I have questions : so we do not use 12x12 papers? Do We scrap in a plain white paper? And also , would an album with a lot of 3d embellishments , titles etc , fit properly on a CM album? Thank you.
Hi I have bought an old CM album with a lot of pages but no page protectors. Can I use the newer 12x 12 page protectors on my older sized pages and just make them a little narrower so they don't overlap the edge reinforcers? from memory the old pages are 290 mm wide not including the reinforcing and about 303 mm high. Searching google hasn't helped me work this out. Thank you.
Thank you for always giving such helpful information. I have been meaning to ask you about the peekaboo pockets. Do you stick that to the protector or the edge of the page. Thanks again for all the great info you share.
I have been scrapbooking for over 26 years. I started with CM and just started back up thanks to the pandemic. I am having problems with the staples falling out not sure how to correct it could you please do a video on this problem.
But i don't want to lose their quality! Their endurance especially. I love their quality and creative punches! So sometimes i spend too much. I save by using my punches to make embellishments.
When you say 30 to 35 , you mean the actual pages so you have twice that many layouts since you put 2 in each sleeve ( or the front and back of the page).? Correct?
@@CraftSomeJoy Can you mix the pages ( with the slip on protectors) with the pocket pages where you would just slip in your layout. I have some Fast 2 Fab paper and wondered if I can mix with Fast to Fab pages..
I have been with CM for over 20 years. My problem now is that I have found the old 12x12 pages and protectors. Can I use them with the 12x12 pages used now?

I was a CM consultant back in 95 or so
Goals were too hard to meet & benefits were few. So, I quit.
I'm thinking about going back.
Ellen, I hear ya. With the amount of money I’ve recently spent, it would have been better to be a consultant 😂

Yes! You just need to trim 1/2” from the side of the page protectors and they work perfectly!
Thank you for always giving such helpful information. I have been meaning to ask you about the peekaboo pockets. Do you stick that to the protector or the edge of the page. Thanks again for all the great info you share.
I do both Vickie! When you put them on the side just flip them out before you slide on the page protector 😉
How do I get my CM album covers personalized? I'd like to have the spines embossed or engraved with names and dates

Yes Joye! That is the number of actual pages in your book..your layouts will be twice that!!😄

This is a GREAT video but could you make a shorter one just about how to put the album together.
I have been with CM for over 20 years. My problem now is that I have found the old 12x12 pages and protectors. Can I use them with the 12x12 pages used now?
The old pages can be used in the new albums, no problem. If you mix them with new pages, the new pages will be 1/2in wider than the old pages
12x12 is 12x12, nomatter how you measure it. The pages will fit fine.
Can you get new page holder bars the staples fall out
How do you purchase CM products? Do you need to purchase through a demonstrator?
Hi Joanne! You can order from my website and have them shipped directly to your door! It’s so easy and there is a fantastic gift with purchase going on now! www.creativememories.com/user/LaurenHinds 👏🏻❤️
Thank you Lauren! I will check it out!
Cover holder staples fall out can you buy new ones
Are CM products made in US. I stopped using because they moved to China?
The albums and pages are still made in Minnesota 👍🏻❤️
I love the creative memories albums if only they weren't so pricey.
They are an investment, but I have had many of my albums for many many years, and they still look great!
