To add onto the Cyrus comparison at 2:50 as well as the SP problem mentioned at 5:45, Cyrus's best skills are 70 SP. Lemaire's single-targets are 74 SP.
That's not even taking into account the fact that Cyrus naturally has almost 100 more MAX SP than Lemaire, so he has an easier time sustaining his skills. And despite AoEs generally being lower in total potency compared to single-target skills, Cyrus's beats hers in that department too (390 vs 360).
The fact that Lemaire only has single target skills limits her a lot. A lot of lightning content, for example, wants units that can target all enemies. Some notable examples off the top of my head: Tikilen cup, Hammy cup...
Whereas Cyrus excels in both fights with single enemies and multiple enemies, Lemaire struggles whenever there's more than one enemy. I'd find memed-on units like Therese or Elvis preferable to her in those situations (and the latter is free!)
There were a lot of stuff in my original script that I cut out due to tiredness and being rushed.

I felt like I should've added onto the point on 3:44.
I said it's decent in the Dancer Tower because you're only allowed to bring Dancers so your healing options are limited. The adds are also weak to light so you can shave shields with it. With that said, I actually found this to be detrimental in my first attempt to get Dancer EX5 footage, because it unevened the shield counts of the adds, breaking one before the other. This made it so that I was unable to clear both at the same time like I did here at 4:04, so I restarted, avoiding that skill on my final attempt. If it was AoE this wouldn't be a problem.
It also costs 62 SP which is still pretty expensive, although less taxing than her other skills.

Another thing is that Lemaire is much, much better in the hands of a vet account, since they have the resources to level her up fast as well as having more options to sustain her SP usage. But a vet account would also have much better options and therefore no use for Lemaire. So that's the state of her as a unit. Awful for new players with low levels and limited resources, and simply "bad" for veteran players with a developed roster.

I just hope they do bring back useful units like the Neir units and characters like Lynette. I would suggest pulling her once for influence bonuses and that's it. Her A4 accessory is also garbage. It provides 35 increase of P attack, M attack, P Defense, M defense and scans enemy weaknesses/increase damage by 10% when enemy is broken.

I've never gotten her but she seems like an easy skip.

      Stop trolling me '-'
I'll actually take this as an opportunity to clarify something though.
There's nothing wrong with pulling for a unit you like because of artwork or design -(except for the fact that you're supporting SQEX's very bad decisions)-
I simply wanted to address some of the things people were saying about this unit even before her EN announcement, such as "she's good for new players." Which doesn't really hold up when you actually examine at her kit. ...or play with her for more than a day.
If you're on the edge between skipping or pulling, you should know that she's terrible for new players, and also pretty darn useless for veteran players. So consider that before you gamble a substantial amount of rubies.

Rather listen to this than Urshiko, most of the Octopath CC’s speak funny or have heavy accents
