I think I've got more than my money's worth of game so far. Actually I think this is the most generous game I've ever played for the amount of content I've got out of it.

I also keep a list of every purchase I make with a "per month" average, so my goal is keep that number as low as possible. I'm thinking I may just get the yearly packs when they reset and that's it, once you have enough characters, there isn't a point to pull more.
Just a video ideas, similar to “Genshin impact, but i can only move with Bennett’s E” i think you should do a vid where you can only move with a charged attack (would say certain weapons like polearms are overpowered for this lmao) spiral abyss without artifacts / 1 star weapons daily bosses without artifacts / 1 star weapons lvl 1-20 team to do daily bosses / all bosses commissions but you can’t use your E or Q 1 kill = 1 roll ( or something similar ) play genshin on a mobile explore the map, whatever mob you see, you kill them and everytime you see and kill a mob, you roll
I played WoW for years and told myself: you will buy the 50euro pack once a year (like an WoW expansion) and welkin (like the monthly subscription). This keeps me from overspending and my finances haven´t changed much :-) It would be nice tho to not loose every single 50/50 to Qiqi or Keqing :-(
Would you trade your car or several month's worth of food for a few units in a video game? It's pretty bad. Gambling addiction has a very strong way of convincing you of value when you really aren't getting much in return. The reality is, the game itself hardly changes when you start spending money on it. You just get more units and spend even more money on the resources needed to even play them.
I want to see what Moga is going to predict this time for baal like how he did with yoimiya Baal doesnt talk a lot so scroll might be out but since she is an archon her knowledge should be very high
ive been playing since 1.0 and im proud to say ive only spent around $90 aud (only welkin and occasionally a bp) but seeing the double bonus reset next patch, im tempted to purchase a pack but i dont wanna break my streak :U
You didn't need the top-up bonus before, so you can convince yourself you don't need it now or any time soon. And if this happens every anniversary, you don't lose money not getting the bonus, because you didn't spend money on the top-up to begin with.
Have been playing Genshin quite a bit. Day 1 player. I was a f2p untill very recently when I finally bought my first welkin pass. I think I will continue getting a pass every patch now. I have a love hate relation with Genshin but since I like the game, I think I should support it with a Welkin every month.
MEANWHILE. New games run you like 60 or whatever? Less on pc if you buy on sales. Soooooo one game will cost you 4 grand in less than a year. Thanks for showing me an exact reason to not spend money anymore.
I really like ur vids, ur by far my favorite Keqing and Hu Tao player. I'd really like to see you try Shiminawa on Keqing. I only just hit ar 45 and dont have the recources or farmed artifacts like you. So please consider it, I would be so grateful.
The best way to play this game is to be a low spender. BP+ Welkin. Then pick your favorite 4 star characters and get the archons and 5 star supports, don't pull because of meta. Pulling every banner isn't worth it even whales end up with so many characters that they can't build due to time constraints and resources. You can even argue that the weapon banner is an end-game thing.
I no longer count how much I spend in games bc im a Recovered Whale but back in my major ensemble stars days i ranked for requiem leo (you have to be in the top 10k players to get the card) and spent $500 aud to get him. the cut-off score was 6.66 million points and you got a free copy of the card at 5.5m. most events cutoff was around 3-4m pts. anyways they changed the system and now theres no competitive aspect. never spend outside of your means, not getting a character is sad but not getting food is worse.
I’m gonna set some baseline rules on what a dolphin, whale and a leviathan are. A dolphin spends 20-40 every banner, if they want a character a lot they’ll spend 100-150. A whale will spend 200-1000 every character, depending if they want constellations. A leviathan funds the entirety of genshin 5000-20000 every character.
I'm purely F2P. I don't spend money on the game because I can't. I'm happy with my current characters though. (Btw you are my favorite Genshin Content Creator.)

"Inverted to save your eyeballs" this is why we all love moga
Just a video ideas,
similar to “Genshin impact, but i can only move with Bennett’s E”
i think you should do a vid where you can only move with a charged attack (would say certain weapons like polearms are overpowered for this lmao)
spiral abyss without artifacts / 1 star weapons
daily bosses without artifacts / 1 star weapons
lvl 1-20 team to do daily bosses / all bosses
commissions but you can’t use your E or Q
1 kill = 1 roll ( or something similar )
play genshin on a mobile
explore the map, whatever mob you see, you kill them and everytime you see and kill a mob, you roll
Me waching this video as a f2p: is this possible?
I played WoW for years and told myself: you will buy the 50euro pack once a year (like an WoW expansion) and welkin (like the monthly subscription).
This keeps me from overspending and my finances haven´t changed much :-)
It would be nice tho to not loose every single 50/50 to Qiqi or Keqing :-(
Kinda surprised that's not over 10k or something. Getting all your characters and their weapons for under 4k isn't that bad right?
Would you trade your car or several month's worth of food for a few units in a video game? It's pretty bad. Gambling addiction has a very strong way of convincing you of value when you really aren't getting much in return. The reality is, the game itself hardly changes when you start spending money on it. You just get more units and spend even more money on the resources needed to even play them.
Moga spending so much money and not getting even lucky pain is just pain
Iam the first 😀😀
i call myself a whale,
i've spent 5 dollars so far
beside all that
THANK YOU for usnig DARK MODE.
The fact that zhongli is in your thumbnail is the most befiitting thing for this video as he is morax and bassicaly used to control how money worked.
gonna keep supporting your videos so you can keep whaling! dont stop moga lol
I want to see what Moga is going to predict this time for baal like how he did with yoimiya
Baal doesnt talk a lot so scroll might be out but since she is an archon her knowledge should be very high
i remamber 2 years ago you started making epicseven videos...and look at you now how big you grown, gj
ive been playing since 1.0 and im proud to say ive only spent around $90 aud (only welkin and occasionally a bp) but seeing the double bonus reset next patch, im tempted to purchase a pack but i dont wanna break my streak :U
You didn't need the top-up bonus before, so you can convince yourself you don't need it now or any time soon.
And if this happens every anniversary, you don't lose money not getting the bonus, because you didn't spend money on the top-up to begin with.
ahh youre right, theres really better stuff i can spend $50 on x)
Bro I was just watching itspaikon's vid of how much ppl spend on this game and then I got the notif of your vid ahahaha
I like how ur intro is always like a close up on Zhongli XD
Challenge: Shields only for a day, so no auto attack or skill that doesn't involve using a shield.
We can do one thing to keep moga doing great content. Watch his videos and thats the money spent on whaling
i've been playing genshin since mid eula banner and haven't spent a single buck so far and i wish to continue to be full f2p
i spent a grand total of $4.99 in my 7 months of playing genshin
the new units are so cool! as a f2p with horrible luck i'm pulling for kokomi because she doesn't need crits
on of my favorite youtuber if not my favorite
keep up to the good work
I no longer count how much I spend in games bc im a Recovered Whale but back in my major ensemble stars days i ranked for requiem leo (you have to be in the top 10k players to get the card) and spent $500 aud to get him. the cut-off score was 6.66 million points and you got a free copy of the card at 5.5m. most events cutoff was around 3-4m pts.
anyways they changed the system and now theres no competitive aspect.
never spend outside of your means, not getting a character is sad but not getting food is worse.
Thinking of it as a business expenses. That amount of money for almost a year ain’t bad
I'm purely F2P. I don't spend money on the game because I can't. I'm happy with my current characters though. (Btw you are my favorite Genshin Content Creator.)
Moral of the story always becareful when you spend your money
