Chelsea is realy blossoming. She sounds and look like shes coming out her shell. More vocal and laughing more. I can't believe the difference between before and after she started going to school. Big up mom.
Look I'm supposed to be mopping n I found myself grabbing a blanky n watching my family at the park .thebtim u invest in being present in you kids' lives warms my soul. ❤. May you all walk tall knowing you belong and this is your home
The kids are pronouncing the African names properly in the next few years they are going to be picking up on the languages I am so happy for them it's beautiful to watch🎉🎉
When you can go to Fordsburg you have arrived 🤣. Were you at Oriental Plaza? About winter you are right. It can be brutal and my worst season ever. I am not a winter person and I can barely cope. It’s Chase’s “Never” for me. Chelsea is so good in pronouncing names. Her pronunciation of Rendani and Botlhale were perfect. Botlhale means Wisdom. ❤
You must get some thermals for winter. In the women's department at Woolworths you can get very fine/thin thermals that you can wear under your clothes and they really keep you warm.
Brace yourselves for Winter ! (Last year was exceptionally cold especially since we had lots of loadshedding !) A good idea is to invest in a generator IF it continues. PS Durban is a good holiday destination during the Winter school break - you’d enjoy Umhlanga.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 on the subscribers. And that feeling you said you used to get in the States. I get that, too. Yesterday was bright and sunny, and I was just imagining myself on a pretty sunny day living in S.A. and I got that bubbly feeling. Thanks, kids, for keeping us up to date on school and friends.🧡🧡💛
Soccer(which we call "Footbal" here, lol) is to us Black South Africans how Basketball is to Black folks in the US, glad the young ones are involved...please allow the kids to try out as many sports they can Mama Price, good character builder that, love your videos 💪🏽❤
I dont know weather this is weird or not but I badly want you guys to be monetised and I really love it here and please keep warm and please purchase vicks and hand gloves and hats and water bottles ❤❤❤❤.
@@OurJourney2SouthAfrica last day of school is a NO day, so mostly kids do not attend. All schools are like that, worse in December break weeks before school closure kids don't attend. As long as they are done with exams in November school is over. Real last day of school is the day of collecting reports parents go and fetch reports which is around the first week of Dec.
This is pleasently good 😊 never thought i would witness this in my lifetime...our african american brothers and sisters living amongst us ❤ i was born at the right moment in human history
Yes the last day before school closes, alot of kids skip school 😂😂😂 i might have done it a couple of times 🙈☺️ i think its just the fatigue, coupled with the fact that its more like a half day, so its sometimes inconvenient for parents to pick up their kids around 12 or 11, they are at work.
I have concerning news. When wild birds (most species I have encountered) realise that their nest and basically their safety is compromised, if the eggs haven't hatched yet, the parents are very much likely to abandon the nest. Best thing is never to interfere or make it obvious that you are aware of their nest. But hopefully this species is not that super cautious. They have a nest very close to humans so they are probably not super shy. Second point: If their eggs are not in a nest that's probably because they ground (and probably the warmth it retains) is the perfect environment for their eggs to hatch and their babies to be comfortable. It may make no sense to us humans but it's just how nature is. Best believe, the species that build elaborate nests are never too lazy to do it. Each species just does things differently and this specific one probably generally lays on the ground. Which explains why they have to be super loud and aggressive because there is not that much protection for their eggs.
I'm told not to brave it there alone 😆 🤣 😂 We were about 5 mins away from Oriental Plaza. With all of the warnings, I'm getting a little nervous about the winter. We lived in a warm area in the States. I reallllly hope we're well prepared. 😬
The archa combos 😂😂 you guys really love it hey 🥰we only have it with any main meals like pap or rice , we have it as an extra salad because it’s a salad in its own Also one thing to know about archa is that it makes armpits smell so try not too have it everyday or Just be aware of the smell 😂
You guys should definitely invest in a gas heater. You can refill the gas tanks at your local garage when they run out. They're really the difference between a cold home and a cosy home in the winter. Also I know my friends and I were guilty of skipping the last day before break almost every term.
During school holidays, is best time to explore the country especially Limpopo or Mpumalanga, to get the free home made Archaar. Hope you can drive 2+ hours away from Gauteng.
I'd say the winter is really bad, but I've personally never felt anything below 0 degrees Celsius and I know that people might say that's great, I teach English online and Europeans always say that our winters are warm. I'm not sure if it's the same for Americans

I keep hearing about the armpit issue. So far, we haven't experienced that side effect 🤭 HOWEVERRRR my stomach woke me up late one night, forcing me to PROMISE to back off of the atchar. Hmmm, this is the 2nd time water bottles have been mentioned. it must not be what I thought they were. What are chargeable water bottles for? We're set on pants.
Just to be safe ....let's get electric water bottle, you just charge it like a phone. Yeah, mornings and evenings are going to be a biter late May to June when winter starts. Am a summer baby, so I know I will die and come back this winter. Google SPCA or dog shelters near you, also check bookface lots of groups there looking for homes for the fur babies. I don't know what Russian is, but when I read your comment, Ms Chelci jumped up to throw some fries in the air fryer to try with Atchar lol 😆 😂 😅 The addiction is REALl! 😅

I think because of Global warming, the weather might be unpredictable, For us South Africans it can be very cold but i dont think it is extreme cold like in the Northern Hemisphere like USA and Europe . At night you need warm blankets

I love the fact that chelsea corrected the pronunciation of her friend's name, I appreciate the sentiment very much.
Yep, she went from 'I can't pronounce their names' to PROUDLY now teaching me how to pronounce them. I love it! 🥰
something about this video that's so satisfying to the soul.
