In any case I'm like 90% sure theyve been herping together at least 1 time before this one. it was before all the covid grift so its been a while. I'm not sure which channel or if they're are vids on both. ill look around and post a link if I find any.

I saw the inside of a large retics mouth and it totally changed my perspective of wanting to handle one. Their teeth are like razors and there’s so many lol. 🐍

I wonder if the roach was drinking Honeydew made by the hopper? 🤔 Some insect's waste is basically sugar (honeydew) that other species take advantage of. I'm a total amateur tho 😅

Serious question, which species mushroom do you think was growing on the elephant dung?
Some type of tiny bonnet shroom. Not quite familiar with Thai mushrooms but they look just like the ones in the states. There are many different kinds and these look like they are already drying up. Should not be eaten if that’s what you’re asking 🤷♀️

The locals farm the rats to eat. Quite tasty apparently although I haven’t tried

Did you guys study Herpetology or has this been a life long passion? I am fascinated by the encyclopedia of animals you are recording, like handling the snakes I've only read or seen on Natgeo! Have to see you on there 1 day!

I find it would be hard not to with a rare one.. You'd want to save the breed and re populate or something 🤫💩

But I guess depending where you live it may be illegal or something too.
My other UA-camr also mentions certain types of bacteria or diseases you could spread from captive bred to wild and vise versa and or releasing one into the wild can have a bad effect on other species, environment, food chain etc.
If i herped for rare snakes and actually found one that's next to impossible, i still feel like I would bring it home, damnnn. Bring some beautiful naturally wild snakes back by finding male and female "ahem" !! Rare Babies!!!
Some breeders have that goal too (worlds firsts) but I find the wild ones vs what breeders are doing take the natural wild look from them. 2 completely different worlds when you watch other snake vids! Herping is friggin awesome wild content!

Another dumb question, the highly venomous snake...if it bites him, does he carry antivenom with him at hand? If not, what does he do
I don’t carry AV, it isn’t feasible. I just hope for the best and in the event of a bite head for hospital.

Hi, in Thailand, for someone interested in snakes but without experience handling them, how do you recommend to learn more about identifying and handling? Any places you'd recommend to learn from those with experience?

No they weren’t. Not even close… the stipe on these are like a thread. Not edible!!
