Beautiful creature and a great rescue David. Well done. 👍👏👏👍
Thanks Dave!
...Dude...it's like the second you make physical contact with the snakes your able to telepathically communicate to them... The way you pulled it out, set it down and slowly moved your head up its back, over its hood and then grab its head...............shits legendary
This is the first time I have heard a noise from a cobra spitting in a video. This is awesome!
This is definitely the connoisseur’s Herpetology channel.
I love it that you care so much! Thanks for your incredibly informative videos.
Great work, David! Very impressive, as always.
Thank you :)
Congratulations. Very professional catch showing care for the snake
Thank you
Thank you for your knowledge David it's really appreciated
You’re very welcome Samuel, thanks for watching!
Gorgeous siamensis. One of my favorite elapidae for sure. I've kept my male for soon 6 years, absolutely love them.
They are a really neat species!
1st time I’ve seen/heard of a Siamese spitter,,,It had the markings of a spectacle cobra too !?
Great stuff.👍
What a gorgeous Cobra and great save David !!!
good job mate? as always... The best snake handler ever!! ... :)
Thanks Marcelo :)
That was an Awesome Catch !!! So Cool , Well Done !!!
Greetings David! I was really hoping to see a collaboration between you and Chandlerswildlife while he's been visiting Thailand, herping with ChrisSweet. The 3 of you herping together would be amazing with all the knowledge and experience each one of you brings to the table. Hopefully it'll come to pass in the future!
Chandler did film some videos with me, will be coming out soon ;)
@@DAVIDSFEED Ever since Chandler announced he was going to Thailand and meeting up with Chris Sweet , I was really hoping that you guys would do something together! I cannot wait to see these videos! I'm a huge fan of all 3 of you and have learned so much from the combined content. I hope to meet you all in person eventually! Not much herping excitement in Ohio lol. Take care! Thanks again for replying!
I can safely say that from my point of view, you are the best reptile channel on youtube hehe
I just love how he can chill in full spread slithering backwards ever so gently, homegirl spits venom like a cow milks .
Driving on the other side of the road almost makes me as anxious when you are handling the snakes!
Hahahah
are snake rescues interesting ? .. yes sir, keep them coming !
Awesome rescue 👏
The Indochinese Spitting Cobra that I had crawl between my feet in Hua Hin was the same beautiful black colouration.
He swam across the lake I was fishing and although the locals tried to catch him, he was away into the rocks before they could get to him.
Probably good that the locals didn’t get hold of him, they’re more peaceful than people :)
Nice job, David. I hope the couple you assisted gave you something to cover your petrol money.
They did, despite me trying to fight it off. I’m not doing this for the money, just trying to help out.
@@DAVIDSFEED I know bud.
What country are you in ?
@@shawncarter5273 Thailand
Weiter so 👍👍👍
Thanks David, it makes sense what you said about relocation.
Thanks for the video and for the effort.
Awesome video David!
Amazing as always David.
Thanks Daniel, as always :)
Excellent video David. Nice to see you on your own channel!
That is such a pretty snake !
Excellent video David.. I happen to like snake relocation videos as they can become quite complex or be as simple and easy as picking up a turtle or a frog as you just demonstrated in this video.. it's a very good subject matter which often entales many surprises especially when you do so free handed which I don't see other people doing very often .. bravo
wow, you still mention me :) amazing
Nice job!
looking good my man.
What the fuck David just filmed with one hand perfectly and defused a bomb with the other. Dude has the confidence of a navy seal vet while maintaining the demeanor of a buddhist monk.
New to your channel and Chandler sent me over to you. I'm from Stuttgart Arkansas.
Welcome! Thanks for watching :)
Love the outro
Nice work, great video.
Thanks Brian!
Very cool of you to rescue that beautiful cobra.
That home looks HUGE
Beautiful cobra ;0
nice catch and release
Nice
Interesting, they have spectacles just like indian cobras but obviously not the same species... didn't know that.
A lot of people are surprised by this, but it’s completely normal for this species.
Good job babe ❤🥰
OMG David you are courageous god damned....
Thanks again David.
you are awesome, damn I don't like snakes, but I think what you do is very good, I have respect from you
Nice rescue and release, but that motorcycle helmet? I see a new trend coming with herpers around the world.
The way u free handle and hypnotize the snake is extraordinary..... Be care ful bro....i also see spectacles on its back of its hood.. thinking that it could be indian cobra.. 🤔
It is not an Indian Cobra.
Not sure where you read studies about relocation far away not doing well...must be species specific or something...I know here in the U.S. one study of striped whip snakes in Utah some were relocated up to 50 and 80 miles away from their den and 3 months later found their way back to the den...now that is amazing.
thanks for the video glhf
Thanks for watching!
Good rescue and info about relocation. I'd bet that Cobras in particular are probably both territorial and perhaps cannibalistic to preserve their prey source and territory.
They must really appreciate your service! They will feel much safer around the pool and the beautiful creature can still survive away from people where it would rather be! 💯😎
Damn this boy is smart!
Planning on a trip to Thailand I want to go see some snakes!!!
🤙👍✌️
Hey! What's your first venomous snake bite? (For David and Rupert)
Another great video David thank you buddy for always delivering us the best content 🤜🤛
Ps are you in hua hin David it’s just that private estate you collected the cobra from looked very familiar ?
Yes, Hua Hin :)
😁🤘
Loving the videos David, are we gonna get an update on your personal collection of snakes anytime soon? Maybe a feeding video or a room tour would be great! God bless brother!
Thanks! I will do some captive snake videos again at some point, can’t guarantee when though. At the moment I’ve got a lot of herping videos lined up that need to be posted first.
@@DAVIDSFEED sounds good mate hope your well, loving how often you are posting!
Do cobras have territories -- like dogs? We have land (Taiwan) and I'm curious whether cobras on our land are tied to that area as their territory.
So wait? You just snatched up a cobra with one hand? It's pretty hardcore
Thanks! They’re pretty predictable and it’s become somewhat of a routine for me, I get callouts for this species all the time.
@@DAVIDSFEED yeah, confidence is key is what I learned with my Burmise. Thanks for the reply!
You always seem to have no fear and they behave. Can they sense fear and trepidation and then are more likely to bite?
Ah, my man favorite sport : driving like crazy to save snakes..! Can't blame him... But the roads kill way more people than snakes in Thailand.. So drive safe bro.
This "big brother moment" was brought to you by fruit fermentation and smoked vegetation. 🤪#lovefridayswithdavidsfeed
That siamensis was high... Such chill
Those glands were at the fullest considering the amount of venom it spits
That part about translocation was great, coming from an older generation that didn't had any studies about it, I'm very happy that young professionals like you are considering it and do their best for the snakes.
Thanks bro 🍻
Where in Thailand are you? I'm flying into BKK in Dec.
How many miles (roughly) from where you found them should you relocate? Just interested…
Probably not even 1 mile as the crow flies.
David, it has spectacles mark on its head. Have you accidentally found a new species "spectacled spitting cobra"?
No, this species typically has this kind of hood marking.
🌺🌺🌺👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Can this snake only Spit or also bite 😅
It has a spectacle shape design? Why's that?
im surprised at the sheer amount of venom they carry - i thought they would only have enough for maybe 2 or 3 squirts
Most animals have different flora in their bodies according to locality. That means bacterias, Cartier viruses, parasites and such When you put them in other localities their natural floras can wipe out the local population that they come into contact with. This doesn't just happen with snakes or reptiles, pretty much all animals in the animal kingdom are the same.
Sir, spitting is still battery. You're going to snake jail. For shame snek
Visit India and check some beauty of it.
Isn't there a theory that spitting cobras developed their venom spitting to counter stick wielding hominids?
Incredible the way you pinned the head I was like okayyy my man David is a g lol your the best I’ve told you before definitely one of my dreams is to get out there herp and do things eventually ill get there !!!
Go for it! Doesn’t get much better than Thailand in terms of cool snakes.
@@DAVIDSFEED in terms of all exotic thing’s definitely a passion of mine herpetology definitely one of them!
NO SNAKE HOOK
i now know what its like to get spat on by a cobra
Perhaps keep a visor in your car.
“Did you see that?!”
No David I couldnt see a thing coz the snake sprayed venom all over the camera 😂
Hahaha, sorry 😆
Alg
Thailand drives on the wrong side of the road.
Your totally mad 😱😱😱😱😱
Hahahahaha ...."that was pretty easy...." pffff sure..... speak for yourself !!! :) :)
😆
Your hair is gone!!
Yes! Haha
@@DAVIDSFEED lol just shaved my beard myself yesterday, miraculous how much air you miss out on feeling. Awesome content as always! Keep it up and stay safe amigo.
Can you do a video on your snake Steve I been waiting and waiting @davidsfeed
