Moe has a point, doing something for 16hours is sure youre sort of practicing but when youre tired, you start to have bad habits creeping in. It should be broken down into bits so youre feeling fresh all the time. just like with sports, you practice and when youre tired, you rest. same with studies too
agreed its almost like playing mm or esea / faceit is like a drug u just keep playing even if u dont improve for the fun
Especially things like dirt bike riding, you make a few mistakes feel a little low, it’s time to pack up, even if it’s only been 2bhours

what m0e is describing in the first 4 mins is the presence of diminishing marginal returns to labor. the more hours of labor (an input) you dedicate to increasing your CSGO abilities (output), sometimes, the less additional output you'd get. There can even be negative returns (more input = less output). I'd guess that the pros that play less and do better than others who play more continue to do better because those players have found the optimal amount they should be playing to get the most additional returns, and stuck to that, instead of playing the amount they feel like playing.

5:14 you can't compare CS 1.6 with CS:GO... It's like comparing COD 1 with COD: warzone. The first globally played and adored by everyone is CS 1.6, It's like a father to CS GO, yes, it was different, worse graphics, economy, bla bla... But it was the foundation for this game. Basic rules of the game, most of guns, map foundations are taken from CS 1.6 and put inside a better, modern game engine. Plus it was released in like 1999. So don't disrespect the elders by saying it was a shit game, because it isn't in any universe and beyond. You made a lot of valid points in this vid, but couldn't stay silent for this one

Hit boxes were often easier to Headshot in 1.6 due to the square geometry. but they were also off at the same time during some points of animation/movement. At the time I think it was a little easier to pick the game up and feel OK about yourself. lol. Compared to now with GO. I could see it being frusterating.
i actually think tarik's been playing waaay better. Compare his recent videos with his old ones

It was mentioned in the video that if you play non stop games all day you're not really changing anything about your game or improving, and I would have to agree. Honestly the more pugs you play in one sitting, the more focused you will be on winning every game you play rather than analyzing each game critically to improve. And playing lots of pugs will almost certainly lead to anger as you'll consistently be playing with people who just aren't on the same page as you, which is intently frustrating. I feel like you can get much more out of 2 pugs, and only use 2 hours of your day, rather than 6 pugs where you use 6 hours of your day and likely didn't learn much. Everyone is different though

Moe is right. I realized two things from my experience:
1. My team wins more rounds if I focus on taking less risks alone and dying without giving my teammates a chance to trade my death. Whether it's to stop a push or to take control of an area, if I act alone and die, that's when and where my team is vulnerable. You want info, and a backup plan in the form of trade kills just in case you get one tapped.
2. Some angles are easier shots than others just based on the enemy's moment in relation to your perspective. If the enemy is almost walking straight towards me, I don't have to make as much horizontal mouse movement.
There are more things but these two dramatically changed the % of rounds won over time, and the result pays off over time because my plays are more consistent than a "high risk high reward" plays. I don't overpeek, I don't try to push a stop by myself. If I get overwhelmed, I run and hide like a pussy until my teammates can help. It works
For me its just burn out
I play like 2weeks straight for 8to 10 hrs
Then burn out kicks in have a break like 2 weeks and comeback suddenly a beast like i can destroy 2 ranks above me destroy then burn out again repeat for many years...
