He did get a little better this time and people liked his gimmick. If Undertaker had to get onto Big Show alot then He really had to get onto Mabel.
Watched some vader stuff last night Michael's pushing him out of the ring after summerslam big pos move.vader would have broke Michael's in half could literally see the fear in his eyes when he was about to get powerbomed he shit his pants
And it’s fitting cause while he’s not acknowledged as being as terrifying to deal with then the likes of Andre the Giant, Meng, or Harley Race
Vader is a guy you legit don’t mess with even though he’s generally a great guy
I mean it’s telling that egomaniac Inoki of all people let Vader beat him clean in Tokyo for his IWGP Title during his personal reign of terror (depending on who you ask regarding the time Inoki had a stranglehold on his company’s top title)
@@arashitendou5941 even Andre the Giant was scared of Harley Race, that is proven if you look into it. Harley was also one of the few to slam Andre before Hogan did at Mania 3
What the video shows is that Vince McMahon is usually the center of any shitstorm. Not a coincidence.
Jericho may appear tiny, but he took out Goldberg once...so you would never know...maybe Vince saved Brock from the wrath of Jericho
He’s not tiny. Just short. And honestly, it never bothered me. HBK isn’t very tall either, and he did pretty well. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit: all were short, and all were great.
His dad was a hockey player right? They fight an S ton lol, he probably never even had the fear to fight if need be
Brock Lesnar is a former NCAA D1 wrestler and UFC heavyweight champion. Also, listen to Jericho tell the full story of the Goldberg incident. It’s not as badass as it seems.
He doesn’t appear tiny. All these guys were cranked out of their tree off the sauzule in the 90’s early 2000’s. The rock had gyno to the point where he had to wear that black jacket
@@trevorrovert3103 maybe not but I find that more reapectable. Chris Jericho goes far beyond to make sure its safe for everyone. And to stand up to someone 2 or 3 timea his size like Brock Lerner is imperessive.
Titus was did so wrong, he brings nothing but a great look for wwe💯
exactly. all that happened was because he was black.
edit: irdc what y'all have to say, attack me all you want but after Vince said the N-word and pulled that crap i have to assume he's racist, period. y'all are a bunch of keyboard nerds who have nothing to do but attack teenagers in comment sections.
Facts.
@@kaylalaufeyson8828 No. That's plain wrong and stupid to say.
He was suspended because Vince has a history of being sexually abused as a child.
These kind of people don't always handle situations like this like you expect. They react harshly when touched unwanted. He threw a fit, because he was legit triggered, but let others talk him down.
It didn't happen because he was Black. Being black LITERALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO with the suspension.
It happened because Titus made a mistake he couldn't know about.

Jericho fears no one. People don't know him that well. He's a maniac.
I remember seeing the Rumble ppv and the cheers when Sid tossed Hogan out, and the anouncer saying "there are no friends in the Royal rumble, it's every man for himself". Then the next day watching the highlights on the monday show the crowd booed when Hogan was tossed and the anouncer's scrip was changed to "what a creep Sid Justice turned out to be".
Is it wrong that after this I now want Simon to do a Retro Ups and Downs for In Your House 4?
We had him do one for Heroes of Wrestling
So no I’d not be surprised that doesn’t come up very soon now
12 Brown Downs
I’m pretty convinced it was jose lothario, hbk asked to get out the ring....watch that moment again
The only real time it was okay to bring up "The Curtin Call" and it was not brought up lol
Probably because it's so well known.
I always though Shawn was saying it about Jose Lothario and not Bret.
Same
So next weeks retro ups and downs is going to be in your house 4 right?

He grabbed Vince’s arm so that Linda could go first not to lift the mood
Wasn't it Stephanie
Vince a boss he should've minded his business
Vince perceived it as he thought he was weak and needed steadying or something
You need to be really dumb to grab your bosses arm like that, specially when we're talking about Vince McMahon!
I'm surprised Titus O'Neil manages to enter a ring without tripping or falling, so dumb
If I was Titus, I would have quit after getting $5000 fine and 60 day suspension.
Chris Jericho is a true legend in the wrestling business 💯
After Undertaker’s match at Elimination Chamber where he got burned by the entrance pyro he told Vince he didn’t care what McMahon did to the pyrotechnics tech but if he got his hands on him he’d kill him. Vince fired him on the spot.
That was the day Vince McMahon saved a life.
I see both sides of that thing with Titus. Teddy Long said it perfectly when he was asked about it. Titus Plays Too Much. That was not the time. Even if it was true that it was so he would let Stephanie go through first that wasn't his place. All that was too serious for him to be screwing around. But I do agree Vince's reaction was WAY over the top. Suspending him for 3 months so he misses Wrestlemania and having to be talked down from not firing him? That is over kill. Take him off tv a couple of shows let that hit to his wallet be his lesson.
8:50 And Vince didn’t even stay with the wrestlers until they got out, he got in his private jet and left them.
As did Brock
Jim Cornette once said in one of his podcasts if he were to fight Brock,he'd bring a gun.
I'd bring elite striking, take down defense......and a gun.
You know I'm a pretty handsy guy. But I would also bring a gun 100%
I'd bring Cain Velasquez
@@chrish6734 Speaking of Cain,I legitimately wonder if Brock brought him into WWE solely to avenge his UFC loss to him.

Between you guys, watch WWE, and Wrestlelamia, I don't honestly know how there's anything left to be said about the past 20 years.
superb work
Simon, love your videos but a quick question. Why, in number one, did you not mention how it screwed us in Buffalo, New York out of a proper Smackdown the night after? I mean, we're already screwed for living in Buffalo. That was something that just wasn't needed.
I live in buffalo NY too
You gotta give Vince credit. Cutting the feed on the pet project of a person known for killing media figures, because of a payment dispute? The Man has balls.
Love how you present your videos.
Geez steph was so cute back in 98-99
She was my celebrity crush back then. Mind you, she was holding her own with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears at her peak in my view. Early McMahon-Helmsley Stephanie was even better with her talent at playing a heel (she must have inherited that from Vince).
A good pump up the knickers indeed yes.
Ew
I love when z Simon is not on screen because he has problem with his arms. I didn't know arms can go in those directions . At least he scares me so I i escape to a better host.
The older Vince gets, the more he looks like Parker from Thunderbirds.
Shawn probably just wanted to make sure Bret didnt pull a Hogan at Mania 6 after losing to the Warrior. Hogan was supposedly handing the torch to Warrior but made Warrior's title win celebration about himself. Bret even said he didnt think Shawn shoulda gone over. So Shawn was making sure Bret didnt flub up his torch moment.
The Mick Foley fall was his own idea.
The fall to the Table yes, the fall through the cell wasn't planned.
@@supersasukemaniac Bull. Why was the cage breaking apart in that spot, with zip ties falling to the mat?
Pro wrestling cages are not held together with zip ties. He was lying to his wife because he knew he'd get a ton of heat at home.
It was OBVIOUSLY a planned spot. What, do you think they were just going to gingerly climb down together when the were done fighting up there? Was Undertaker going to pin Mick up there? Would the referee have climbed up to count, or just do it by looking up?
Don't be so gullible.
Will never forgive WWE for not letting JR call the taker vs Michael’s match !💯
Goldberg throwing a tantrum after Armageddon 2003
I don't see Jericho challenging Brock as a moment of insanity. Jericho is a legit badass whose toughness is overlooked because of his size. I believe he could hold his own against Lesnar in a street fight.
Yeah Jericho can compete with UFC heavyweights 😁😂 haha yeah right
@@derekbonin4996 you need to understand the difference between a street fight and a regulated fight with rules.
@@chaoticdays which is even worse for Jericho because nobody would break up the fight when getting pounded, street fights are dangerous, you can get knocked out and somebody can keep hitting you, which is not cool, that would put Jericho in even more danger on the street
@@derekbonin4996 not necessarily. Brock would overpower him no doubt, but since there are no rules Jericho would fight dirty to survive. In a street fight, the most vicious usually has the upper hand and I think Jericho could be more vicious than Brock if required.
Titus scared the shit out of the boss that's what almost got him fired that's what I want to believe
Nah, the old man is obviously sinking into dementia and a single unwanted touch flashes him back to the numerous unwanted touches he had when he was a kid- historical fact. Losing touch with reality as he grows old can't be a good experience for a man that was once the greatest mind in wrestling.
Well if you fire a dude for just congratulating your wife on her bid for governship, like Abraham Washington did, I’m not surprised he freak out an try to fire a guy for just wanting to physically acknowledge his boss during a generally heartwarming scene

imo that was brace from jericho. it shows he will stand up to anyone and isn’t scared of them either.
What’s crazy is the bump from the top of the ladder to the stack of tables taken by bubba ray and the undertaker is talked about way less but was a lot worse than foley falling off the 16’ he’ll in a cell onto one table
Honestly it's the second fall from the cell, or rather through the cell, that's really hard to watch. The one onto the announce table is more visually shocking but the other one wasnt planned and he took a chair to the head on the way down, that's why he was so out of it afterwards
Vince was just pissed off about whatever that night he suspended Titus. Probably just on his rag.
I think Vince just thinks of him self as some kind of god and us peasants shouldn't be allowed to touch him
I know Shawn's attitude problem. But the Mania 12 fiasco is understandable. You just wrestled for 1 hour and you don't know how much time you got before the feed cuts (see Raw in 97) to celebrate. So he may have phrased it wrongly, but I see his point.
Oh Jericho is definitely insane
I don’t feel that Jericho is crazy for possibly wanting to commence w the good hands w Lesnar, just because you’ve someone has done MMA that they can’t get handled outside of it......anybody can get got. Ask Batista about how he got got by Booker T as well as ask Lesnar about the late Curt Henning
Jericho had the better of Goldberg in a fight as well. I think Brock would win but it wouldnt be as straight forward as some might think. I bet Jericho can take a beating as well. Hed just keep getting back up.

Shawn Michaels was a real prick back in the day. Yet somehow we all really love him. Including me❤
It helps he repeatedly acknowledges his actions and has admitted to really hating how much an a-hole he was in the 80s-90s
When you constantly do this and accept when it’s brought up in conversation, especially with how much he’s done, you can’t help but appreciate the fact he accepts it and allows it to be constantly brought up and explained
The fact he probably can’t go a single interview without at least one incident being brought up and rolls with it speaks volumes
Agree
and, when you're pretty much the FEATURED storyline... d× every Monday, the last thing you probably want to hear is ideas from fans, other wwe 'folks' talents and maybe even creative, hey I got an idea 4u.... he's the best thing going at the time, don't need to tell him how to do his job
At this point between shawn and bret at mania 12, they agreed on the f*** outta my ring shtick to work the boys into thinking they had heat. Shawn and Bret have said many times they were reporting in the dirt sheets there were problems before they really were.

Titus: never understood why people don’t understand Vince’s reaction. There’s something especially infuriating when another man: 1. Implies he’s Mr. Chivalry, 2. Implies YOU are in need of a “how to treat women” class, taught by him, 3. Does this all in front of other people. 4. Does this in front of a woman you’re interested in.
Nine times out of ten, it’s a guy “going into business for himself” to look like the babyface. It’s the most enraging thing. I’ve seen a decent bar fight started by this exact
And it’s not just about sex/romance. If another guy did the above with a female relative, I’d get almost as pissed, because again he’s (in your head) diminishing your manhood to exaggerate his own.
“oh no, YOU obviously don’t know how to behave, does he gals? Let me demonstrate for you.”
So, all that and it being on national television, I understand where Vince was coming from, though obviously Titus is just a good guy and didn’t mean any of the above. I’m not saying Vince was right, just that his out of proportion reaction makes some sense.

I can personally state the last decent thing I consider he did was winning the tag team title briefly with Edge
