As a kid I played piano for church and after offering this song was always sung, but in Cambodian. It wasn’t until later in life after hearing the Katinas and listening to the words in English did I fall in love with the song.
My grandfather was a Baptist music minister and he would have us sing the Doxology before the meal. This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for remembering it.
I don't usually post anything or respond to anything on UA-cam. But I want to share something.. My spiritual walk is getting serious, and this brought me back to when Jesus presented Himself to me for the first time, when everything was easy and effortless... This used to be what we sang all Sunday services before leaving church.. It's amazing to see where God is taking me now and looking back to how everything started. Thank you. Thank you so much. This just has an amazing annointing, I know this channel will grow a lot, remain humble, the Lord will do great things soon...

I accepted Christ years ago, first when I was 9. I’m 28 now. But I’ve always lived more on my own terms than His. There were some sins that I just could not give up. Then this year on Ash Wednesday, I finally completely submitted to Him for the first time in my life. I went five straight days without any temptation. He healed me instantly and I spent the majority of that day crying and thanking Him. I was ready to use strong physical force on myself in order to repent, but the Lord said, “You’re not going to need to whip yourself. You’re healed.” I didn’t hear these words but they sum up His actions of grace. Before, I struggled and fell to temptation everyday. HE REALLY DOES MAKE THINGS EASY ONCE WE ADMIT WE ARE WEAK WITHOUT HIM AND PRAY FOR HIM TO HEAL US
Find a church sis, there are some great churches out there. Just need to find one with sound doctrine and true worshippers. Took me 5 years to find my church home. We are created to fellowship with the brethren. Bless you beautiful xx

I listened to this at least 20 times; I couldn't get away from it. In the world today, we need this kind of rock solid worship. It is clean, pure and holy. No pretense or show; just holy worship. takes me back to when I was a Little boy 15 years ago in a large castle like church with all my family and friends, everyone was happy and laughing in the kitchen/cafeteria eating doughnuts. Our Pastor was such a good man, progressive, and very understanding. He was the first person I came out to when i was 13. My pastor hugged me tightly and said god does not make mistakes, god loves you everyone here loves you.

I just want to say, Maverick City has been such a blessing to my life. I made it my goal to download the audio of every song this Christmas Break to catch up on all the music missed while in school.
