Def leppard is like that drunk 55 year old mother of 5 at the show, trying to wear the same outfit she was in 30 years prior when she was hot. Everyone is just looking in horror like, wtf is happening here? Just tragic.
That was hands down the funniest Suck Vs. Suck EVER! I was laughing so hard, tears were coming out of my eyes, and I kept on hitting the arm of my recliner over and over again! My Gosh! Can it ever get funnier than this? Hey Dr. F., your pain is our pleasure. Everytime I see that it's a Suck Vs. Suck video, I try to watch it ASAP. Thanks for the torture you go through for doing these kind of videos. It's worth it, to us, your fans.

I remember when that Def leppard came out remember being at Tower records and seeing it. I had to take an hour bus ride so I got it and was all excited..... Until I listened. I actually tried to return it. Lol

That album is actually a musically phenomenal album. Richie made them all better.

Def Leppard was cooked when Steve Clark checked out.
Poison (Dwarf) should have broken up and became record store clerks, Guitar Center salesmen, roadies for other washed-up acts, and…carnys.
They keep touring as tribute bands at the local casino to pay for their fixes, alimony, and medical bills.
They need to move on to producing or something else.
i remember in 1998 when i was an apprentice and one of the technicians i worked under was a MASSIVE fan of poison, def lep, bon jovi, etc.... at the time he was a bit of a know-it-all asshole as well.
He would go on and on about how "Crack a smile" needed to be released properly and he was SO excited when Euphoria came out the next year... in the work truck i would get punished by having to listen to all of this crap crap crap music, every day..

Since I don't know any material of either band ( know of their existence, and I may have heard a song or two on the radio but either never all the way through or got interested in finding out who they were), I played bits of the songs reviewed on this video. Both albums were released between 1999 and 2000 within a year of each other. My overall impression is that these guys seriously believed that since Grunge was mostly gone, that it was safe for them to return with heir 80s glam, long left behind by most fans of the genre by that time. These bands had to compete with a lot of hip hop and rap, castrated rock & pop, and electronic oriented music. For some unexplained reason, The Dave Matthews Band was the biggest act around. The power chords and riffs were relegated to the nostalgia crowd that wouldn't grow in numbers until a decade later. Both albums were moderately successful but would have been much bigger had they been released in the 80s and not be the subject of punchlines today. Both bands are currently touring together to large crowds. A commenter below posted that these bands are like the 55 year old woman that was once hot in the 80s but is now struggling to fit in the same outfit she wore at 17 with regrettable results. Perfectly described. Though if I run into her and she still looks decent, I wouldn't mind scoring with her..... though I'll be as unsuccessful with my Butthead pickup lines now as way back when.... The only consolation being that men tend to look better as they age while women wilt. Thanks for the video Dr. Fukk!!!!
I usually wave the Def Leppard flag but I can’t defend them on this one. Euphoria is Subpar and that’s being kind. But I do like Promises lol 😂

Paper sun actually was a serious song about the bombings in Ireland, where Joe lives, and vivian was born and raised, so alot of people actually love it. Def leppard record diamond star halos, released in 2022 is great!
Def Leppard started to suck after Pyromania. Poison always sucked. Motley sucked after Dr. Feelgood, though I don't like Dr. Feelgood there are some good songs on there

These are just 2 horrible albums. Euphoria is worth something for me because I use the cd as a beer coaster. I've never heard of this Poison album and I dont want to hear it.. great episode
I listened along on UA-cam. OH MY GoD!! So bad! And you are right sadly. I love Joe but this is so crinegy and corny. Just horrible. And weirdly Poison just sound like a decent bar band playing stupid songs....which is better!!
Ralph, I must confess that Native Tongue, the posin album with Kotzen ,is fairly good. Decent record, with Richie Kotzen bringing an upgrade of quality to their music. I like the guitar licks with an old school bluesy taste and flavors. I like it. Solid production from Richie Zito. Good solid record. But then Kotzen banged Ricky Rockets girlfriend and … it was over
