Thanks so much for the video! It really helped me a lot to drop the fuel tank. I wasn't doing a complete replacement fortunately. I had to drop the tank to install a second row of seats for the camper van. I wish I had a car lift and the transmission lift to help me, though! :) That would have made things easier but I manageded with a rolling jack. Thanks again! This really helped to givee me the information and confidence to do it myself.
That a great video, thanks, I have a 2007 Dodge 2500 fuel, with a code PO452, I change the Gas Cap, and the dormant valve, cleaned the hoses, and checked the canister in the back. Last year same thing happened but it when away by it self, now this year the check engine is staying with all the update I list above. Do you have any suggestion?
I'm wondering if you were pressed for time to not have blasted that removed tank with some high pressure water to get it a little cleaner than it was.. at least so that the bits being transferred don't carry all that dirt from days of the Egyptian pyramids to the replacement tank.. :)
We have drained the fuel tank completely but the fuel gauge still says full. Do you think we need to drop the tank, access the fuel pump and adjust the fuel level lever manually or is there another way around it.
Well done presentation! Some tweekers just drilled my tank to steal the fuel, mechanic buddy of mine is going to lend some assistance with a bit of DIY. What’s the spanner you used for the fuel pump retention ring. Other videos people tempt fate by whacking with a hammer; I’m red neck but not that far red neck.
This one is also good. I learnt a lot and the way of telling is made simple. Keep it up. From South Africa

Trevor Unitt it sounds like the level sensor or the wiring of it has a problem!!

@dub07odgecharger there is just one pump on this one!
