- The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 24 gallon tank and replace it with our 47 gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location with an additional rear strap. The tank occupies the space forward and rearward of the original tank and does not stick out anymore toward the driver side than the original tank.

I just bought the same gas tank for my 2022 mercedes Sprinter and was wondering how much would you charge to install it on my van.
I just saw your video and was impressed how professionaly you installed the tank in your video.

Great video. I saw another video where they said an experienced mechanic with a lift could do the same job in 6.5 hours. How long did it take you total?
Did you adjust the computer to calculate the new fuel capacity?
I did it in 1.5 hours

@@jhf8180 No. it was pretty straight forward. You’ll have to slide the new tank under the van first, then lift the back and scoot the floor jack under it.
The pressure test is not very clear. I assume you have to block the tank vent. What tool do you use to pressurize the tank?
Compressor. Pressure testing tank is not required anyone, just confirm the locking ring is fully seated
Do not remove the filler tube.
why? Just wondering, dont have this on hand yet
@@AllenKrughoff Unnecessary. Just disconnect it where it hits the fuel tank.
Damn. You're right. This would be much simpler. At this step now and thinking the replacement hose is probably going to be too long. Will find out in a few minutes!
