I just read I Feed Her to the Beast this week! It was good, but not great. Definitely couldn’t put it down though cuz it was so damn interesting even if the pay off wasn’t what I was hoping for.

I recommend Scritch Scratch by Lindsay Currie and The Haunting of Aveline Jones by Phil Hickes. Does she love Coraline? It has a book, graphic novel and film. There are actually a ton of age appropriate horror books and Graphic novels written specifically for the middle grade group with varying levels of spookiness so you don't need to use an adult scale while asking for recs unless she specifically showed interest in adult horror.
