As a law enforcement officer of 16 years, I see your point but unfortunately, in some states, we are required to announce ourselves before making entry. Sometimes, that's not the beat course of action but it is the law. In these types of situations, it's a case by case basis as to whether or not the best course of action would be to breach or make a soft entry. I've also been in situations where a breach (kicking down the door and coming in) caused the perp to panic and open fire on the SWAT team, causing innocent children to get killed in the crossfire. So, you really have to just feel out the situation and determine the mental stability of the person in order to make the best decision.
these robberies were both during year young cousins I have were born & these cases were reasons why I mostly decided when im older in this future which is also a great childhood dream I had was to protect this family I have including cousins born during year of these robberies & im teaching them how to also save themselves because I love this family I have & every 1 so close to us thus I started studying law enforcement, government officials, & espionage 😀❤
why didnt you include the part where the metro officer "accidentally" discharged his gun, which was followed by blackburn shooting his family and himself thinking they were under fire from the cops.... no way excusing his behavior, but seems like a major detail was left out here in the time immediately before their deaths...
He didn't kill them. The FBI went in shooting and the kids were cought in the crossfire so they covered it up and blamed him. Google it you can read from all the witness that were there
I was lost with the aliens and Hoffa at first too. But then the paralyzed citizen said he heard a voice saying- "I am Jimmie Hoffa" coming out of the spacecraft.
They should have blown the door open after learning the kids were inside and not giving him time to dwell on different outcomes on how this would end. Authorities waited too long. Authorities blew it.
They often do blow it. My nephew by marriage was an LASD homicide detective. He loved his job but it is stressful. You never know what your walking into. I praise them for doing the jobs they do to prevent pandemonium in the streets but also hold them responsible when they f it up.
It’s definitely the cops fault..as soon as he starting saying “I’m not going back to jail” I knew something bad was gonna happen. Why did the damn police wait so long an why the hell did his wife help his escape custody…
I think when the guard spoke with Sophia and fbi saw her as soon as she closed the door they were supposed to break the door open. They followed prosedure that's how they are taught to handle l can't blame them
Imagine getting your truck stolen only to have it found 3 weeks later, but you can't use it because now it's evidence in an investigation of a damn armed robbery DAMMIT! 😂
Unless it was not him who shot them. It wouldn't be the first time the scenario happened and a coverup ensued. It likely was him but then again I wasn't there.
Half of the America. In Finland we dont even talk to people with such ethnic backrounds and U.S.A had a black president? In Finland they have been studied to have IQ points low as mentally disabled people have.
It’s amazing how they can claim that the sketch closely resembled the suspect and yet the witness can’t pick them out of the photo lineup, LOL. We can tell if a cops lying is when his lips are moving
If they really wanted to save lives, they would’ve just waited, until they all came out and made the arrest. They knew he would come out eventually. 🤷🏽♂️
They said they was 4 hours in talking to him. I think it’s like protocol to call the room and let them know that they are surrounded(I don’t really know). He was not coming out that room
@@MT-gk1xf I agree, if they wouldve just waited til the next day & catch blackburn when he was alone & not next to the kids. When they surrounded the room he knew it was end of his freedom for life so he was suicidal. Cops blew it on this one & got two innocent children murdered & one mother who was a bad person but didnt deserve to die. Easily cldve got him leaving hotel next day or so. Bad police work.
When you see the dedication and heroism from the FBI of the past, it is even more tragic to know that the current FBI has become a malting international criminal organization.
This was very poor out dated old fashioned police work as far as I'm concerned. You mean to tell me, The FBI and the entire Police Swat Team did not made the decision to remain low keyed since they already had the hotel surrounded until the Blackburn's came out? Someone will have to come out at some point and time resulting in their arrest. But to call them and let them know that they all were outside and heavily armed was traumatizing to all of them. And to top it off, talking trauma for four hours just made matters worst! feels so bad for the children man even though this happened some time ago. RIP🙏❤️🇧🇸
I watch this show mostly as a reminder of how inept the cops/most FBI were in that era. Polygraphs, a lack of communication, and in this case a failure to read the suspect... also other comments on here say that the cops accidentally fired first, panicking Blackburn...if true, that would make this a bizarre case with two accidental discharges (Blackburn or his accomplice accidentally shot the armored car guard). Pull the fire alarm or if the room has central air, turn the heat way up. Have the manager apologize and offer a different room for the night until the problem is fixed.
I agree that was totally mishandled little kids in there the police could have backed off and quit being so gun ho I would think that they had to live with that for the rest of their lives that should have never ever happened

these robberies were both during year young cousins I have were born
& these cases were reasons why I mostly decided when im older in this future which is also a great childhood dream I had was to protect this family I have including cousins born during year of these robberies & im teaching them how to also save themselves because I love this family I have & every 1 so close to us thus I started studying law enforcement, government officials, & espionage 😀❤
why didnt you include the part where the metro officer "accidentally" discharged his gun, which was followed by blackburn shooting his family and himself thinking they were under fire from the cops.... no way excusing his behavior, but seems like a major detail was left out here in the time immediately before their deaths...
so you were there, eh ???
@@rhuephus lol bro do your research, its in the testimony
Yeah, unfortunately they left this part out.
Holy shit. Amateur hour from the feds.

The hell how many times is this video gonna come up
First guy is one of the worst minds to ever live. Why did he even kill his kids ? They would have been taken into care and lived a full life . Wtf
He’s weird asf
He didn't kill them. The FBI went in shooting and the kids were cought in the crossfire so they covered it up and blamed him. Google it you can read from all the witness that were there
the fbi did, they just say he did, they stormed in and just shot everyone
He probably could have negotiated to release them to thd sister in law too. They would have been all good.
He was a Selfish prick
100 response vehicles on a whim of hoping it was him😂😂😂
It took ten hours to count the stolen money? Do they not use machines for that?
That seemed odd to me as well. I wonder if it took so long because they were also checking serial numbers on the money.
this was way back before money counting machines
@@rhuephus LOL money counting machines have been around since the 1920's and the robbery happened in 1998.
One of the rareist occasions where swat fails, too bad
swat team btw, nice negotiation
29:00 The screws could be unlocked by someone in a visitor area. That is not a smart criminal, that is bad design.
I was lost with the aliens and Hoffa at first too. But then the paralyzed citizen said he heard a voice saying- "I am Jimmie Hoffa" coming out of the spacecraft.
They look through your eyes - they listen through your ears - they read your mind and talk to you in your head - 2024
& following & obeying this 1 teacher ive had which is a cop & another teacher which use to be a detective also gives me more strength
Bates hotel room 😂😂
They should have blown the door open after learning the kids were inside and not giving him time to dwell on different outcomes on how this would end. Authorities waited too long. Authorities blew it.
They often do blow it. My nephew by marriage was an LASD homicide detective. He loved his job but it is stressful. You never know what your walking into. I praise them for doing the jobs they do to prevent pandemonium in the streets but also hold them responsible when they f it up.
It’s definitely the cops fault..as soon as he starting saying “I’m not going back to jail” I knew something bad was gonna happen. Why did the damn police wait so long an why the hell did his wife help his escape custody…
right im so mad at this
I think when the guard spoke with Sophia and fbi saw her as soon as she closed the door they were supposed to break the door open. They followed prosedure that's how they are taught to handle l can't blame them
😮😮😮😮😮
The stripper in story 1 ruined it all 🤣🤣
Did the casinos not used marked bills back then? I thought it would be easier to trace stolen money back to a person if they are in possession of it.
Obviously not
Lost hope….. inability to act when they knew what he was going to do and not save 2 innocent lives 😡
Act like your cleaning lol I'm thinking might aswell clean it I mean I'm here already haha
Amazing how hard they will go…to find the MOB money. Mean while in other cities…………. Unsolved .
I didn't know kid Rock did reenactments lol
Imagine getting your truck stolen only to have it found 3 weeks later, but you can't use it because now it's evidence in an investigation of a damn armed robbery DAMMIT! 😂
I worked in high security hardware
business- regular screws, no guards or camera monitors
is highly unusual
construct.
Makes me wonder.
Always have a witness .
If I’m Blackburn, I’m calmly driving back when I see the agents in front of the house. I’m not accelerating in their direction. 😂
90s was like the Wild West! 🤣
How could you kill your babies...so heart breaking.
Unless it was not him who shot them. It wouldn't be the first time the scenario happened and a coverup ensued. It likely was him but then again I wasn't there.
@@brianallison1913 right bc we only know the cops side😢
No warrant no entry
Did anyone else notice that these ads had a video in it
First on this masterpiece
overlapping is not allowed 😂😂
I certainly would not refer to a case where 2 innocent children were killed by their own father as one of the "best"
@ 6:52 We’re looking for two males who are either white, black or Hispanic. 😂 So about half the world!
Half of the America. In Finland we dont even talk to people with such ethnic backrounds and U.S.A had a black president? In Finland they have been studied to have IQ points low as mentally disabled people have.
These are not stories to watch when u are about to sleep. Those thieves were not wise enough.
Oh how we need the FBI.
Wow.... that guy really did that 😮
Parents choose to have children, must teach them safe play.
Accept it is parents duty.
It’s amazing how they can claim that the sketch closely resembled the suspect and yet the witness can’t pick them out of the photo lineup, LOL. We can tell if a cops lying is when his lips are moving
His wife Bout It fr... she's a keeper
And now dead
She is the definition of a ride or die b@$ch
These GUYS are "punks" with TOTALLY disregard with human life including their OWN family!!
Yeah, the fbi are cowards and liars
We may all have eyes and ears like criminals but we definitely do not have the same mindset
don't be so sure, all humans are capable of being a criminal.
@@georgesafo9876 if they had kept their present secret, he would’ve came out the next day. I’ve seen them do it to many times.
@@MT-gk1xf yes you are so right, he couldn’t of gone anywhere. The police needed more thought and composure
No, he was NEVER coming out. Wise up.
What kind of mother puts her children in that situation for a man. She should of been a mother over a wife
She was a wife before she was a mother
One line cracker me up. "We were looking for 2 males... white, black or Hispanic". Well, a least Asians ore off the hook!
Schlumpfe means Smurf ….. agent Smurf 😂
When you see the dedication and heroism from the FBI of the past, it is even more tragic to know that the current FBI has become a malting international criminal organization.
The cell phone ringing on the dead guard really hit home 😔 😥
May this little angel test in peace in heaven
Roberts bro was probably the getaway driver... Since he had 50k
Say what? No way. Lol
@@robertpatter5509 lol
Spooky 🧵!
Ever hear of ruby ridge? Waco?
I agree that was totally mishandled little kids in there the police could have backed off and quit being so gun ho I would think that they had to live with that for the rest of their lives that should have never ever happened
