Nikhil Kamath is the co-founder of Zerodha, a bootstrapped startup with a valuation of over ₹7000 crores. He's a financial wizard who dropped out of school at the age of 16 & started trading in the stock market at just 17. He and his brother, Nithin Kamath started India's first online brokerage firm in 2010, Zerodha. With a billionaire tag in the 30s, we often believe that billionaires are entirely contempt with their life. But Nikhil breaks that line of thought by talking about insecurities, existential crises & life despite achieving everything he wanted.

I have enormous respect for 2 people - Sreedhar Vembu and Nikhil Kamat ...these guys have stayed in India, are humble, patriotic and created enormous tech companies.. Nikhil Kamat said once to youngsters - "do whatever but dont leave India.." on being asked about his tips for Indian youngsters to succeed..
he comes from a well todo family so ofcourse the business doesnt work, he has his dad to fall back on. Not the story with most kids, sir. They want salaries in dollar to send back to India. Learn the difference and you will start to respect everyone who does best given the situation.

Jesus, stop glorifying people. There is no such thing as "gifted". Passion for the craft, intense gritty hard work and pursue for knowledge lead to success. Anyone can do it in any field if effort with passion is mixed together. Most simply do not combine the two is why they stay mediocre due to other commitments or outright laziness.
Trading inherently is not bad/wrong

Nope he didn't, else zerodha would have been under SEBI's scanner. Do remember SEBI is very strict when it comes to frauds and insider trading in the SM, it isn't reluctant to fine or even ban big names and big firms. (SEBI has fined Rakesh jhunjhunwala for insider trading multiple times).
Moreover zerodha has helped millions of people in india before it, the middle class retail investors were burning their money by paying huge brokerage fees. So i just feel just because he cheated in a charity match(others did too), you shouldn't consider him a cheater everywhere and start defaming him.
Also that wasn't an official match, or a match where india's respect was at stake, it was just a casual match for raising money and not to find who was better(it was obvious btw it had to be vishy)
