Gustave Louis Christophe Doré. Doré was born in Strasbourg, France on January 6th 1832. By age five, he was a prodigy troublemaker, playing pranks that were mature beyond his years. Seven years later, he began carving in cement. At the age of fifteen Doré began his career working as a caricaturist for the french paper Le Journal Pour Rire, and subsequently went on to win commissions to depict scenes from books by Cervantes, Rabelais, Balzac, Milton and Dante. In 1986 Steven R. Gilmore used one of the Doré prints from Dante's Inferno for the cover to Skinny Puppy’s 12" single 'Dig It'. The song samples the Twilight Zone episode ‘Elegy’.
@@SkyNetGeneral- woah, so cool. You quoted a ton of lesser known industrial bands that I've heard of but aren't particularly interesting to me. Try some Velvet Acid Christ, Suicide Commando, Haujobb and VnV Nation. Oh that's right, taste is largely subjective. NIN is still objectively good. Even if you like to pretend you're an elitist poseur.

How about enjoying both or are you two just here to squabble instead of listening to them tunes?
Yeah, most NIN fans know that Trent said himself in interviews that "Down In It" was majorly influenced by "Dig It".
