Love the fact that Frank and Jay took the tube to get to Wembley
I teared up a bit seeing Josh in the credits
the best part of that was the genuinen question of 'can i crowd surf?' LOVE IT
He truly has perfected the art of messing up. I don't think he played a single song the whole way through without stopping that night. Seeing him in a week at the Scala. You better mess up a lot.
Did he mess up 8 years ago
This was lovely
in and out deep breaths
Yeah he is, he has an album called Standing On A Chair as well. :)
I was there, it was amazing!
What a hero :D
Your camera breathes really, really loud.
A tiny thing - lay off the person.
"beans on toas"
Frekin great
I'm in the rural middle of the USA and a bit of hermit. I actually only know about Frank Turner because he turns up in UA-cam videos and in Jay's book - I've gathered I'm in the extreme minority (that's also how I heard about Laura Marling and Will Varley - via Beans on Toast). This (fairly condescending) documentary doesn't do justice to the fact that Jay is a brilliant songwriter. Beans on Toast is a generational poet, a unique and intelligent voice, not (only) the jester he's made out to be in this film.
I didn't see it that way. Frank genuinely loves Jay!!!
@@johnnyscifi You're probably right. Sometimes I am pathologically defensive of the underdog.
Same, including my mate.
I've got that album haha, never made the link! Sings about going bald/losing all his hair in I fancy Laura Marling as well! Cheers though
Seeing Josh Burdette in the comments made me sad...
Just to clear something up, is Jay THE Jay from I Knew Prufrock? "Jay is our St George and he's standing on a wooden chair"
yes
Yeye
A. how can you possibly call beans on toast posh?
B. he has thousands of fans, perhaps hundreds of thusands
C. as he said, he enjoys every show, why would he stop?
D. he is more talanted than you will ever be (listen to his tracks)
E. he played the whole show again under a bridge on the way home... how genuine can you get?
F. if youre not that bothered about seeing it, then why waste your time watching, and then telling us you dont wanna see it?
Dat breathing
He reminds me of Steve-O from Jackass....very entertaining!!
Steve-o is a britt, after all...
😍 it x
Is that a strummerville shirt jay is wearing?
Oh Jay...
Yeah he looks better on his Myspace profile :p
3:20 AGAIN!
The camera guy needs to sort his breathing out
This is fcuking amazing! I smilled like a twat the whole way through.
Apparently so
And how an I supposed to watch this in Germany? All I got is a "This Video contains parts wich can Not be played in your country" nag screen.
Awesome!
I hardly reconise Jay without the long hair anymore!
Camera man is a bit of a heavy breather 🤐
Not that bothered about seeing Frank's posh mate sticking with a career he should have abandoned years ago...
lol posh? you're funny.
Says the guy who obviously knows nothing about Beans on Toast...
