It's good but removing it does make sense when entering a menu for some instances like gliding or during a fight. Also, they need to animate it for all the characters as well. But yeah, at least they tried to be creative back then.

I agree. I still think they maintained the post-apocalyptic feel but only in some areas. The Northern part of the map including where the Threnodian statue still remains to feel post-apocalyptic. That's why those areas are my favorite part of the map.

Since I was a CBT 1 player as well and provided my own feedback and criticism, all I can say is yes they do listen, but not "everything". All of the changes are based on the majority of complaints, you can't satisfy everyone and I can only hope most players are satisfied about this
I genuinely want to know who tf complained about the coloring/shading of CBT? Who tf were they? Are they not familiar with Nier Automata or Death Stranding? Or have they only played sparkling, colorful games? There are still some dark post-apocalyptic areas in wuwa, but I wish the cbt coloring was still here in the overall map. Anyway. Can't expect much from gacha games.
Graphic design: I don't mind either, but hope more apocalyptic areas will get added soon. Wrist Watch animation better than the current one they probably removed thinking they have to animate it for every char but shouldn't really, they simply needed to make sure whenever you go to that menu it changes back to Rover (or just cause of game engine change no time to make it for UE4). Yangyang & Chixia story (and other standard char) hope we will see it after the conclusion of Jinzhou main story. Concerto Visual Effect seems good just put a option to turn it off for people who doesn't like visual clutter in combat, adding they probably abandoned it when changing to UE4 and no time. Resonating Sound good idea, socially, but im already seeing the problem hence why they remove it, some people will abuse it for trolling or political messaging especially in CN atm and they have to put more extra work making sure to ban every words that isn't going to be good for them. And hope they used flow for other scene,bosses etc, a waste to simply throw it away.
Damn that concerto effect could have add more flavour on team building aspect. Also leaving message on ground like souls game will make the world more live 😢 I hope they bring some good stuff back, i mean they bring back 120 fps already
3:33 they removed Flow cause people from Vanguard aren't composing the music for this game anymore, which is a shame. Apparently, Kuro hired a independent composer to write music in-house. The reason why the music wasn't that good on release cause the composer was inexperienced when it came to mixing soundtrack to make the music sound just right. Now, after 1.0's success, Vanguard is back into the picture but they still aren't composing the music. They are only helping out the composer with mixing and editing the soundtracks. You might have observed the soundtrack is a lot more crisp now in 1.1.
They were the composers, and most of the ost in the game are still done by vanguard. Vanguard apparently only left the project this year according to their own website.
They done genshinified what could have been great. I hope they try to return to their vision with future updates, just want to say just because some parts would be dull and gray doesn’t mean others can’t be beautiful and colorful, if they kept old world design with current landmarks I feel the contrast would be great, I for one love contrast in my things, when everything’s beautiful nothing is unique and that is one thing I stand by.
To give back the old wristband they can simply make an animation where our character open the terminal since it's called that now Bringing Resonating sound back would be cool and to avoid too much appearing in your world and everyone else they can make it so that only friends will appear if not they can make an option to overlay resonating sound of any players that you desire If not keep the old concept since we would have Resonating sound and pin at the same time so we'll never forget a thing on the map lel

Initially, I was much more hyped for Wuwa, but after the CBT2 changes, the game lost its originality, and the world and vibes just didn’t feel the same. Honestly, I would have enjoyed Wuwa much more if it had kept the post-apocalyptic vibes instead of leaning into the childish theme like Genshin. And the music in CBT1 was so peak 😭😭.

It not meant for NieR or PGR fans or something. They just trying something and adjusting on the go without sticking to some core vision. But still hope they bring apo color scheme and some mature story in new regions after game somehow had success and didn’t flopped.
Seeing old footage from tech test and early CBT makes me so mad. They could have had their own identity but they decided to be genshin 2. The released version feels like 60% fantasy and 40% modern post apocalypse. Compared to Endfield this game looks like a disneyland version of a post-apocalyptic world. I think kuro was afraid of failing or trying to make a game for everyone so they removed a lot of the cool elements that made the game stand out.
