Thank you Runsi and Dr. Jazaeri. . .my gyn-oncologist was just discussing doinga laproscopic procedure if my symptoms continue (my PET/CT scans are NED and my CA-125 is at 6-7) biut I still have some worsening B.E.A.C.H. Symptoms - and this explaines why she suggested that to me last week. I am SO relieved to know this has sound rationale behind it!
Thank you for sharing! 🩵

I have the clear cell subtype wild type of this mutation you are talking about. I have a pik3ca mutation, would this exclude me?
Great question, we are happy to share with Dr. Jazaeri, we will post his response when received, back here. Thank you for watching. Keep Ovarcoming! 🩵
@@Ovarcome thank you : )
Response from Dr. Jazaeri: No a PIK3CA mutation would not exclude you. Please use this link to obtain additional info dostarlb100study.com/
If someone has mixed 50% clear cell and 50% HGSC, I suppose they wouldn’t qualify for these sorts of trials. I am ot at that point inmy treatment, but I am curious. Mixed OC seem so tricky.
It certainly is, and this is a great question! We will try to get the answer for you from Dr. Jazaeri. Thank you for watching! 💙
Response from Dr. Jazaeri: You are correct! Sometimes we biopsy the recurrent tumor to see if it is still mixed or a uniform histology.
My wife is having BRCA and HRD positive Stage 3c HGSOC, she has had completed NACT and put her on Olaparib, but after seven months of last chemo, her CA 125 altered significantly though she was very suitable candidate for olaparib as per SOLO-1. What is next? and what is reason of recurrence?
Thank you for watching and for your question - we will share this with Dr. Jazaeri, and post his response here when received. Sending our love and best wishes to your wife as she Ovarcomes 🩵
