I saw them when I was about 13 years old. They performed at a place called the Chestnut Cabaret in Philadelphia. I asked my parents to take me. When we got there they wouldn't let us in because I was too young. Somehow my parents convinced the manager that I could stay as long as I didn't drink alcohol! Lol. But the experience changed my life. It set me on a path of a music-filled life. Today I am a professional musician, largely because of this group and that experience.
