Alak, Akala...akal-a in the reverse is alak, liquor....akala is "i thought". The song said " i thought liquor is the answer of all problems"...that's Josue's part! "First taste i didn't like it...etc. so many things to learn in this song. It is a SOCIO- REALIZATION! Very relatable!
The way they use words - it’s poetry. And they managed to subtly inject the message - alcohol is NOT the answer to our problems. So clever. What a duo! ❤

English subtitles were just literal translation of Tagalog lyrics and does not capture the wordplay/double meaning of the Tagalog words. Likewise, Melody does not sync in with english trans as well.
