As long as there is a street (it is where it all started) hip-hop/rap exists...this reflects and encapsulates our Filipino culture. In this era, Pablo set the bar higher than what we used to hear from the rapper legends here in the Philippines.
Pablo uses a lot of metaphors in his masterpieces to make them more unique, authentic and poetic which turns on a switch in our brain because the implicit meaning is harder to comprehend. His songwriting artistry requires listeners to think deeper which pushes us to widen our knowledge (he educates us at the same time). His songs encourage us to self-reflect, value our beliefs and examine our perspectives about what is happening in society to be able to decipher the true meaning behind his lyrics. This song conveys resilience, breaking boundaries, fierce in facing criticisms and hindrances, and unyielding determination to pursue their goals. He showed his sensitivity through his well-thought and delicate yet piercing words. This is such an empowering masterpiece. of the rappers give us more overt meaning, a clearer hint or directly hit the issues they’d like to tackle but with some degree of profaneness. Thanks for sharing your talent Pablo. We love you, keep your faith in God, protect your beliefs and always be true to yourself!

What I find brilliant in this piece is the incorporation of the Gregorian Chant from the middle ages - very distant musical relative of rap music - into it. It is quirky but appealing (to me, at least). What's astounding too is that the Gregorian Chants enjoyed a short-lived craze in the 1990s, when Pablo and Josue were still probably in their infancy.
The graphic overlays are Pablo's signature. They appeared in his LaLuna MV as well. Check out the live Preditor performance as well. On a side note, Justin just released a cover of "Sunday Morning" that's really lighthearted and fun!
This song won an international songwriting award in 2021 the Djooky Music Awards Spring Edition. It was just officially released last Jan 14 by Pablo. His brother Josue is also a brilliant songwriter and mostly does the beats on Ad campaigns by SB19 like Acer. Love this song it starts with what sounds like a Gregorian chant then the pace just speeds up on the rap parts. If you see RADKIDZ on the credits that is Pablo&Josue.

If you're talking about verse 1, that gritty voice is Josue's. Pablo doesn't come in until verse 3. But both sung the chant-like refrain.

Thank you for this RV. It is so refreshing to hear someone from the music industry giving due appreciation for Pablo's talents which are often frustratingly overlooked, underrated, downplayed and taken for granted by the average music 'consumer ' (aka a majority of listeners).

@Marialuz99113 *Severely underrated* then. I'm a relatively new fan of SB19, specially of Pablo. Rap is not my genre but his work just calls to me. I've watched a reaction video of a Fil-am writer who seems to be a big fan of Pablo's (she named one of the characters in an illustrated book after him). She was lost for words reacting to this Determinado as she seemed overwhelmed by the sheer talent of this man.
His brother Josue actually sang the first verse and Pablo on the second verse.

AFAIK, Gento was composed by Pablo alone but produced by Pablo, Josue and Simon. In the Pagtatag album, Gento Liham and Ilaw were solely written by Pablo. The credits of the other songs you mentioned could be checked to verify if they both wrote each one to give credit where credit is due. :)
