    This music is great. It starts with beautiful Greek musical strain/ tune. And the church bells ring. And the Red Army March comes at the end.

    I love the fact that the red marble used on the memorial was made out of the defeated remains of Adolf Hitlers Reichs Chancellory. This was confirmed directly to me by officials from the East German Department of Architecture when the wall came down.

      that appears to be a myth. However, marble from the Reichskanzlei wás used for the Tiergarten memorial

      @@urbandiscount incorrect. It is not a myth. This was confirmed directly to me by the Director of Architecture and State Planning of East Germany, Dr. P Gerlach in 1990. I was part of a delegation from the US that was touring East Berlin East Germany at the time. You can see that the material is the same. I’m sure a geologist would be able to confirm it further. My lawyer, Samuel Sciullo of Pittsburgh was in the Reichskanzlei after the conquest of Berlin, and he also saw the same material that was there.

      @@urbandiscount it’s actually a great ironic thing that the offices of Adolf Hitler now serve as the Soviet war memorial. He has to be rolling in his grave, lolololol. The irony.

      @@Systems1 It's a persistent rumor and was never confirmed. The Tiergarten memorial though does contain marble from the chancellery

    • @Systems1
      @Systems1 Рік тому

      @@urbandiscount it was confirmed by an East German official in 1990. Or did you miss that part?
      Considering that it was built in a time with zero supplies out of the same unique red colored material that was in used in the Reichs Chancellory, and was confirmed by a high ranking East German official, there can be no doubt where it came from.
      The German government was not importing special red colored material for any monument, they were using what was available, and the largest stockpile of this red colored material was when they demolished the Reichs chancellery.
