Clouds is my go-to track for beauty but this is my easy favourite for how distressing it sounds. Thank you for looping it, as short as they are this game has a wonderful soundtrack. I just wish I enjoyed the game itself more.
the game is amazing when you get the knack for it and can speed through it. Try doing little quarter circle waggles of the joystck forward/backward so you do forward rolls and cartwheels whilst approaching the enemy and lunge sword just at right moment and it confuses them, and throw the swords at them alot too.. Take it you're aware someone has uploaded an hour long version of the cloud lvl music. An excellent upload it is.
I haven't written off the game, still have it on Steam and going to take a proper stab at it with your advice in mind especially now that multiplayer online's a new addition (played it for about a decent 2 weeks since it's original first release before I stopped). Thanks Fast
Proper stab at it lol, good one. I wanted so much to play online multiplayer at the time, I wonder if this is the case on PS4 as well then which is what I used to play it on, I must go check this. I had the World Recoord at single player you see :) Should be proper tournaments with prizes and things going on all the time which I could try to win, that would been great, but now there's Nidhogg 2 and that looks shit.
Yeah it sucks when you finally get good at something only to find out the online hub is almost dead. I had that experience with this 2-d flight-based game called Altitude that I took a real liking to. It's a shame. No point in learning to sing if you're just serenading yourself lol. Nidhogg I've been playing it a little more regularly now with your counsel, definitely enjoying it much more and getting good mileage out of it. Nidhogg 2 I have mixed feelings on but it still retained a nice NICE soundtrack.
I saw Nidhogg as a rare gem with this great classic aesthetic which I felt I had to do good at so did, how hard can it be to make it online multiplayer? I don't think I'll bother dloading the new one; it just isn't gonna be the same. I never did any pc gaming like I think you're doing, I only used to play XBLA games on the Xbox360 as they were the most skill based and had this old school gameplay. This was the best, most competitive time for gaming at the start of the 360 and xbox live. exciting times with competitive leaderboards on every game that was coming out and it was also a given that on every one of these game's there'd be an online multiplayer with them, with it's own leaderboard with people's true skill rankings which you could try to compete on as well, but then all of a sudden it stopped, why!? And now we're at the next gen takeover and gaming can just do one if you ask me. Sorry lol, sensitive subject for me which I best not go into.
I’ve had it happen with an actual game that kept stalemating and went to both final screens, safe to say my friends were on the edge of their seats during the last struggle :-p
That's a loooooooooooooong fight !

You would actually have to play this long for the Trapped in Donkeyspace acheivment. Wow.
