- The NHS is facing legal action from female nurses, who claim they are being forced to share a changing room with a transgender colleague.
It is thought that 26 women have already complained that the colleague who has not had gender reassignment surgery, is allowed to share their female changing room, and is also said to have a "keen interest in female staff".
Broadcaster Clare Muldoon questions why all this is coming out now. She says: "A few years ago I was a member of some gyms and there was NONE of this… There were NO men in women's changing areas."
Dr David Bull thinks that it can be argued that now there is more transparency and people feel that they can be more openly trans. He says: "We are also seeing more transitions."

As a female I am desperate to see an NHS gynaecologist doctor. Been told I have a wait of 24 weeks to be seen in clinic.

I agree that the surgery does not turn them into literal men. However, if there's no penis, what do you care about them being in a woman's space? I am a woman who was raped violently at gunpoint so believe me, I understand the concerns, but I have 0 issue with a true transwoman.That is to say, a person who blends in as a woman and has no penis coming in to my areas.

If you live in a major city in America, then you have routinely been around transsexual women in the bathroom and in your spaces and you did not know it because a true transexual woman does everything she can to blend in and not stand out and some of them blend extremely well.
So what's your problem with having those people in your spaces? I'm a woman with a history of having been raped and it doesn't bother me in the least as long as they don't have the equipment to do it again and as long as they are making an effort to look like a woman.

this happened in ontario canada, a university professor identified as a 13 year girl and proceede tojoin a girls swim team and used their change room with the 13 year old girls. even though it is against canadian law to expose your self to minors the cops said there was nothing they could do.

Interestingly he does drive himself to and from the swim meets so technically he should be pulled over and arrested as it’s illegal to drive when you’re 13. "Being trans" means an individual is transitioning from one gender to the other. It's a medical process, not a birth defect.

It wasn't long ago I had the misfortune of overhearing the cries of a a banshee coming from the ladies changing rooms in one of our larger stores that have a green coloured name staring with A. As I turned the isle there was a 'gentleman' on his phone pacing back and forth and he was requesting immediate assistance to help his wife who had her foreskin stuck in a zip in cubicle 4. The world stood still for what seemed minutes with no one having eye contact until out of the clothes section.. I shall never forget that day, ever, I'm scarred for life let alone the children...

i did my nurse training in 1976 and there was a night sister who was trans gender she would tell me in great detail about her surgery and her sexual exploits i was 18 and very innocent made me very uncomfortable she was not a good nurse and preferred to sleep but no one said anything even in those days

23rd April 2024 newspaper talks about how the NHS in one year put patients at risk by breaking the no mixed wards law (law introduced in 2010) 44,000 times in one year by putting patients into mixed wards.
Yet if patients complain about being on a mixed ward they are ignored and told to keep quite.
California just passed a law (a Judge is letting it stand) that a person is allowed to be housed with whichever gender of inmates the perpetrator ascribes to. No physical/surgical change necessary. That has already been proven to be a disaster in other prisons, but Disaster is California’s middle name.
A transwomen wanted to use the dressing room(to try on bras). The clerk waited to it was empty, then allowed him in, and ladies had to wait till he finished. He had the nerve to complain he felt dehumanizing. Victoria Secret apologize to him.🤮🤯

I worked for a local council a guy identified as a woman but hadnt had surgery always used ladies and always left the seat up ..really baffled me whay we weren't allowed to object

There needs to be the same system we have in Australia. That is, if a person goes to a doctor either in a hospital or a clinic, it is immediately in the healthcare system, so if the person goes to another doctor with the same issue, the other doctor is alerted by the system.
Why can’t we have separate trans changing rooms , I realise there’s a cost BUT then biological men and women can keep theirs for themselves. Seems simple to me .

I sympathize with transgender individuals. They don't have an easy go in life but, they should not expect other people to forfeit their own expectation of privacy to accommodate them. The solution is to provide individual changing stalls for everyone to use and do away with the communal changing areas.
Can't really do that in NHS hospitals where there often isn't enough space even for the clinical services.Also it would cost a lot of money just to accommodate a very small minority. Better to spend it on services that the vast majority benefit from.
@@welshgruff Assuming that there is already space dedicated for a changing area, that same area could be partitioned into individual stalls. No additional space would be needed. If a hospital doesn't offer a changing area already, it must not need one. Either way, problem solved.

Most US facilities provide a small, gender neutral changing room/restroom also called a family restroom (where a parent can assist their opposite gender child to use the toilet/change clothes, etc.) Is that what you're referring to? If so, those rooms are use by one individual or pairs at a time. If there are actual mixed-sex changing rooms, please tell me where one is. Is that a European thing?

I don't hear much about this, is it just male to female transition that is causing problems, or is it that there are no similar female to male transition problems? When I was at school I played for my local rugby team at adult levels, because of my age I had to have a written note from my parents for consent. Fast forward to today, if I played now I should have my own changing room and shower to protect my innocence, so how the hell can a person born a male of adult age go into a females toilet/changing room where young girls are?
When you are in hospital you are often at your most vulnerable..if the female nurses are concerned and uncomfortable what does that mean for the female patients ...basic human biology should be a given in a medical environment!

Another to note is the pu erty blockers which can enduce Kallman Syndrome if being taken before a person's puberty period, one of the side effects is infertility, but the list of health issues is quite long!
