This reminds me of my own grandma. When I was little, She introduced me to ASMR even when I didn’t know that was a thing. She would do my “makeup” by caressing my face with her fingers pretending to put makeup on me. I would fall asleep every time. I miss her ❤️
Ohhhh 😥 My Grammy always did the same!! If I could go back to one thing in my childhood it would be to have those moments with my Grammy again. 😔
Same here! My nana would draw my portrait as she loved to sketch. I would get tingles and be so relaxed. It was around 1995 so it didn't have the ASMR name it does now. Miss my nana too. Great memories for us to treasure.❤️

I can't remember if I said it on your last video but my grandma was actually the person who introduced me to ASMR 25 years ago, long before I knew what it was. She used to teach me about the bones in the body and I would get mad tingles listening to her say the names of the bones and point to them on a small skeleton figurine I had.
Thank you for bringing back that unique atmosphere that only grandparents can create

OMG!!!! I do something similar for my bf! I dont know all of the bones in the body but I know quite a few along with sites like the brachial pulse, carotid pulse, Apical pulse, etc. A couple of months ago I started tapping on or lightly scratching the area of the bones on my bf's body while whispering "this is your (bone name)" into his ear. I start at his head and work my way down to his feet. By the time I get to his hips he's almost fully asleep and by the time I get to his feet he is knocked out 🤣

My Grandmother was Dutch and this brings back so many memories. She would brush my hair and play with my hair all the time. She would tell me stories about when she was little and her parents were settling on a farm they came to.
In the last few months of my grandma’s life, she reverted back to solely speaking Dutch. I could understand most of what she said, but not all. Your nan reminds me of mine. So soft spoken and up for anything i brought forward to her. She’s been gone 10 years and I would give anything to even have 1 more conversation with her again. Seeing you and your nan honestly makes me feel such happiness. Hold onto her! ❤️

Me neither, unfortunately. One of them passed way when I was only 3 in 1997 and the other in 2012 (when I was 18). She is so sweet and caring towers her granddaughter and it makes me miss my grandma so much!
