Nice view. Is that cave cut out of tufa? Is that the right word? I like the virgin Mary statue. We have a little virgin Mary statue standing in our little community. We suffered so little damage from hurricane Ian. Everyone around us got wrecked. We also have a forest next to us that took most of the punishment. But I'm thanking Mary.

It should be noted also that on the other side of the bay there is another cave, which I had visited when I was young. Legend has it that Gozo was the Homeric island of Ogygia and that the cave is the one where the beautiful nymph Calypso held Ulysses as a “prisoner of love” for seven years. The cave cannot be visited now because of collapse.
