Interesting! The Custom Shop bass has a much fuller tone and the tone sounds more consistent across the strings and fingerboard to me. Nice basses. Great video!
@@thecappy They're made both scatter or hand wound. Same AlNiCo 5, same 42ga plain enamel wire. What's the difference exactly, maybe a few more or less turns? No two of them would sound exactly the same anyway. Put each one in different P basses and the difference would unlikely to become more subtle. I'm skeptical. Also, the AO '60s P has a .047 uF tone cap. The FCS '60 P has 1 uF cap.
Wasn’t expecting the CS to sound that much better. Much richer and fuller sounding.
Can you compare the new Vintera II 60s precision to a Custom Shop or American Vintage?
both glorious! I like the looks of the blue one better, but tone imo the sunburst bass has a tad more character.
Both sound awesome❤

I LOVE both basses, but to me the Custom Shop LTD 60 sounds significantly better.
Minor differences. Both sound great! Interesting, the Thomastiks sound like roundwounds.
Could it be that the strings of the Custom Shop are much older?
Custom Shop headstock is a little different compared to american original, is the body and neck profile the same?
Same neck, same radius (9.25) same body (alder)
I am in love with my American Original, but your Custom shop sounds amazing, much better, fuller and richer sound, more personality.
Sounds like the Custom Shop uses an overwound pickup.
I've always felt like the AV/AVRI/American Originals get you very close to Custom Shop quality for half the price.
Custom shop for sure by far, but the American original is excellent , 2nd best and amazing for the price
Hi, could you tell me? how much do the precision weigh?
Both 3,8 kg
@@PrecisionBassFanpage 👍
CS sounded better on all settings. What pickup is in the CS?
Custom shop Hand wound 62
@@PrecisionBassFanpage wish we could buy that pickup separately. Do you know the k ohm reading on that pickup?
@@thecappy You can. Fender packaging says 10.5K.
@@YTPartyTonight that’s the retail custom shop ‘62. It’s not the same as the real hand wound ‘62 in actual CS basses. I’ve played them back to back.

Ok, mucha diferencia
Sounds like blue one has low cut filter on it. 🤔
Older strings
the cs p bass is p, h, phat!
Entrambi favolosi😍
That is exactly why my AO 60s has a Lollar. That stock pickup sucks
quanto suona il Custom Shop 🙂
