when you are by far the biggest fish in the pond and people that use your stuff push it to the limit, there will be some failure. Most failures can be traced to valve float or push rod deflection or just parts that are cycled out.
ok is it just me or does he turn to a deer in headlights whenever he begins to explain lifters. Its like his battery charges up then he gets a burst of energy then powers down then repeat
Why would anyone buy a lifter from Comp when an Isky is available? And if you call Isky, they won't keep you on hold for 90 minutes and then just brush you off.
Yeah Mike, I was just wondering If Comp and other big companies are outsourcing their budget cams and lifters overseas. ??? Hearing of lots of cam and lifter failures in the past year or so. I don't know if Comp is one of these brands though. Need to do more research.
Don't ever, ever run needle bearing roller lifter in your engine. It's simply a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. After loosing an engine, I stepped up to Isky "Red Zone EZ Roll" lifters. Best $1,200 Dollars I've ever spent. Now I have peace of mind wether I race, or cruise on the street..
@@joshmiller8663 Agree, well worth the peace of mind that come with that 1,200 price. Every engine with needle bearing roller lifters is a ticking time bomb. I had to learn the hard way. Just trying to save other racers some time, money, and frustration..
legend has it he hasn't stopped eye contact
He's locked in. lol
That is my Dad, he is legally blind.
I'll go with Isky, crane ,lunati etc
I think you will have issues with getting Crane, but Isky is by far the top choice currently.
And unlike Comp, they actually care about customers.

Thanks, nice to know that. I want a new cam, lifters springs rockers etc. Have not made a decision where to buy from yet.
his eyes are popping out
Shifty Schiff little brother?
16 customers with failed roller lifters apparently
Personally I blame squirrels
Comp cams doesn't make lifters. They have them made for them.
True. And they have the worst service in the industry too.
7 years ago? Comp still have needle issues?
Yep, and they still don't care about normal customers.
Street guys are having comp flat tappet cans round off during break in.
Made from 100% Cinesium steel.

Isky
I have no clue what the heck their talking about.
I'm not using any lifters, pushrods or rockers from comp cams.
Rockers is hard, because they own T&D. But at least you are talking to someone at T&D when you call them and not some jackass from Comp.
He needs to lubricate his eye lids first
What's with his staring eyes😳, blink for f### sake.
