Looking and hear other people who cracked big PBCs, I think it is not needed but having a good grip is always beneficial. I think in last year, there was this assumption that if you have a good CP rating you will get jobs easily hence rampant cheating was taking place in contest. That has obviously reduced a bit, but personally I do CP to get better at problem solving because I want to get into a good company and I plan to continue CP to a certain level to sharpen my problem solving skills.
You were already above average students in terms of problen solving so it doesn't matter whether you did cp or DSA

Hey, coming to DSA, how did you revise them? Any particular routine, like topic-wise or question wise? Or how frequently did you jump back to the previously solved questions? Also, the upgrade of the video is awesome!

my suggestion , if you already working professional , start practices in leetcode and interviewbit , it will be more help becouse cp required more time and energy , it is bit tough to start cp while working , Leetcode is enough and also revise your tech stack HLD and LLD ... what do you think ??

Because on leetcode Questions are straight forward and in OA long Story come in form of DSA
For that , LC Hard is there. And CP you can do. I am not asking you NOT to.😊

I don't know why my problem solving skills are not improving that much even after doing more than 1000 leetcode questions. Whenever can't solve a problem i just go through the solution is this really wrong. Is this is the main reason behind that please help me.
You should focus on grabbing intuitions, finding patterns.
How many easy, medium and hard questions you did and how many months/years it took you to complete 1000 questions.???
